Cannot thank the home manager and his team enough for the care and support given to not only my mother who resided at the home but also to my family. As a family, we always found the manager and his team to be very supportive and knowledgeable. One of the main reasons we wanted our mum to live out the rest of her life in the home was the feeling of kindness that you feel from the minute you enter the building. To the manager, from my whole family - thank you for everything.

At first, I was dubious about being 'sent' to a care home. But now I see the profound merits. Two characters are best! The Manager and the Handyman. Both cannot do enough for us. Cheers! To all staff!

My 88-year-old mother became a resident here due to health problems. The staff have done a wonderful job, nursing her back to good health. Their care has been nothing but amazing. They have shown her nothing but kindness and patience. I was concerned she may not settle, but she loves it her and is very happy. A big thank you to all staff.

We attended the coronation event and was very impressed with all the effort, care and attention that was given to the residents and their families.

My mother was a resident at your nursing home for months. The care and attention she received while in there was second to none. Your staff are highly trained to carry out their duties. Very pleasant indeed and the manager.

Friendly staff, clean and inviting environment. Residents treated with respect. Delicious range of food available. Wide variety of activities available for residents.

The care provided to Mum and the support given to the family has been exceptional. There is strong leadership enabling the staff to deliver a high level of care with professionalism and empathy. They are proactive in anticipating changes in medical and care needs. They communicate well with the family which has been highly important in providing reassurance as we live at a distance. There is a holistic approach to care from all the team with Mum's overall well-being and particularly her spiritual care being incorporated into daily activities. The support staff delivered their services effectively. There is a sense of calm and a happy team. Mum had nothing but high praise for all of them.

My mother has been a resident at Blar Buidhe Care Home for four years and I have nothing but good things to say about her care. The whole staff team treated her with dignity ad respect and met all of her care needs wonderfully well. She felt extremely content and appreciative of all that was done for her and for her family. We will be forever grateful for Blar Buidhe.

My aunt has been in this care home for six months. I have been in to visit various times since then. The staff are so helpful to me and my aunt. My aunt seems very settled now six months on and that's down to the good care given by staff and good management. Today was my aunt's 90th birthday and staff and management organised a room for family and friends to visit and celebrate her birthday. The room was lovely with banners and balloons and a lovely buffet and drinks all laid out and absolutely made my aunt's 90th birthday so special.

Very impressed by the care given at Blar Buidhe. The rooms are very well appointed. The entire property is spotless and the staff are fantastic. I attended a 90th birthday party celebration at Blur Buidhe today, when we arrived to decorate the room, it had already been done and was beautiful. A buffet was provided with every type of hot and cold finger food and alcohol and soft drinks, served by the kindest carers.

I visited my aunt yesterday and received a very warm welcome from the staff. The home was clean and tidy, and the food offered looked very appetising. My relative looked well cared for and seemed happy to be there.

Absolutely fabulous home. Staff make sure residents have lots of fun in a clean and safe environment. I was so pleased to read recently that one of the staff had been recognised at the National Care Awards. They are all worthy in my eyes. I love seeing regular updates on the Facebook page and mum always looks so happy.

Really lovely home. I really like coming to visit Grandad when I’m home on the island. The home has done so well through the pandemic and grandad has always been kept safe and well. The food is amazing and there’s always loads going on for the residents

My mother has been a resident for over 3 years and throughout that time we have been delighted with the service provided. She is well looked after by friendly staff and above all she is always happy.

My mother-in-law is always happy when we arrive to visit her. The carers and her have an excellent relationship just like an extended family. Whenever she has any problems they phone us and update us promptly. She really enjoys the food and snacks especially the beautiful home baking. There are so many activities provided for her also. I always recommend Blar Buidhe to others.

My mother is very happy in Blar Buidhe Care Home, she is always fresh and clean and nicely dressed. I am always made very welcome and have regular discussions with different members of staff about my mother's care, health and well-being. The staff are friendly, upbeat and professional.

So happy to be able to see granny now that visiting restrictions have eased. Blar Buidhe have been wonderful to the residents over the course of the past year and my granny is looking really well. Wonderful activities and a beautiful home run by amazing staff.

Would like to thank the Manager and his team for all of the hard work and dedication this past year. It has been an emotional and challenging time for everyone but I have felt better knowing that my friend residing in Blar Buidhe care home has been cared for and kept safe. I appreciate the care and support they have provided and also the compassion to family and friends who have not been able to visit. Thank you everyone at Blar Buidhe

As a family, we have been so impressed by the staff and management of Blar Buidhe during the Covid 19 pandemic. They have consistently made sensible decisions about visiting and ensured that the residents remain as safe as possible. When we have visited we have always had a warm welcome, found the home to be very clean and welcoming and we cannot fault the Care in any way. My auntie is really happy in the home.

Excellent facility. Family is kept informed at all times. Staff very friendly and pleasant. Only able to visit once a week at the moment due to the current situation, but my mother seems very content and secure in Blar Buidhe.
