This is the worst nursing home I have ever experienced for my father in law. Totally unacceptable in their duty of care from administering medication, food, cleanliness, activity program, management of the home and the overall environment. Staff stand talking while residents need assistance. Not once did I see any staff make conversation with any resident not even checking on those who are bed bound. Totally all round failure to our elderly. Best thing we done was move him to a spotless great care amazing staff and a reduction of medication where he is now thriving happy and contented and involved in a full activities program.

My mother had been a resident at Colinvale Court Nursing Home for just over 3 years. Sadly she passed away 3 weeks ago. I would just like to highlight the amazing care and compassion my mother was shown during her time there, especially the end of life care she received. The nursing staff were knowledgeable and efficient in delivering all aspects of care. We as a family felt included in every decision made to make our mother's final days as comfortable as possible. Our mother felt safe and secure at Colinvale. Amazing team.

I would like to take the opportunity to express my sincere thanks and gratitude to the staff at Colinvale Court Nursing Home for the excellent care they provided to my mummy from her admission in February 2021 until her passing in September 2024. Mummy was so well looked after, the staff had an amazing an understanding of mummy's needs and great insight into the individual care requirements of a person living with Alzheimer's. The staff took the time to get to know mummy and showed interest in her life and the things she enjoyed. Nothing was ever a problem, the staff were always happy to help and support mummy and ourselves especially in the last weeks of her life. Their professionalism, care, compassion and empathy was highlighted in the respectful and dignified way they delivered mummy's care. I would recommend Colinvale Court Nursing Home to any person of family who are looking for a safe secure place for their loved one to live.

My mother has been in Colinvale Nursing Home for just over three years. They have taken the time to get to know my mother and understand her, which makes all the difference. The nursing and care staff are all so approachable and compassionate which gives me a great sense of comfort that my mother is receiving excellent person-centred care. The communication with myself and my sisters is also excellent and we are always kept informed of our mum's day-to-day progress and any other aspects of her needs. Our mother has also got to know the staff and other residents which promotes her overall sense of wellbeing and belonging and is a great source of contentment for her. Overall a very positive experience.

My husband was initially admitted to the home for respite for a few weeks and he settled in so well and so quickly that it was decided that he should remain there permanently. He has been a resident for 5 years now, and in all that time, I have never had any major issues with the home. I find the staff very quick to act if he is ill by contacting the doctor or hospital and I'm always kept informed about everything. My husband is well cared for by very dedicated staff. They are pleasant, approachable, caring and obliging.

My mummy was a resident from June to August this year after spending 3 months in the hospital, from our first visit I was totally impressed with the home. The home was spotless and welcoming, and every member of staff just after one day felt like extended family. All my fears of mummy going into a home were quickly addressed and the manager was so reassuring to me and my daughter that I could just focus on being with my mummy. Her complex needs were always met with dignity and care and always humour as they got to know her very quickly. During her last weeks, every member of staff who were on duty looked after not only my mummy but me and my daughter and I will always be so grateful to them. I could not recommend this home or staff enough, the atmosphere is family-focused and they take the time to get to know the residents and what they like to do.

My mother has been a resident at Colinvale Court Nursing Home since February 2023. The management and staff appear to work together to create a warm, happy and welcoming place both to live and to visit. Her room is clean and bright and bed linen is changed frequently. As my mother suffers from advanced Alzheimer's she walks constantly and therefore can be prone to falls and bruising, when this happens the family are contacted immediately and any issues are dealt with promptly and to our satisfaction. The staff are very approachable and I feel very thankful to have my mother in a place where I can leave knowing she will be well cared for with the respect she deserves.

Very good nursing home. Staff are brilliant and very effective in communicating with families. Granny is very happy here. The nursing home is always clean and tidy and staff are very approachable with any concerns we have.

My daddy became a resident of Colinvale in June 2023 after spending five years in a residential home, he now required nursing care. He settled in immediately to Colinvale, the staff are so attentive, caring, friendly and hardworking. On our first few days there I noticed there is always staff watching over all the residents and I was impressed by this. We as a family are there every day and it is so reassuring to see how every resident is cared for with so much dignity, not only my daddy. I am happy and content my daddy is receiving the best possible care.

He is getting looked after well and we are happy with the attention he gets. He seems happy and has no complaints. The staff are really good and helpful. He is always clean and presentable looking. Always plenty of staff and very happy with management.

Colinvale Court has been my mum's home for over 15 years. She is extremely well cared for and the staff work really hard to create a friendly and caring environment. The management and staff are very approachable and communication is excellent in managing my mum's care. Listening to the interaction between staff and residents is a testament to the friendly nature of staff who treat the residents as part of the family with warmth and respect.

My uncle has been a resident in the home for the past 4 years. He has been so well looked after even during the lockdown. He is showered, shaved and has clean clothes on him every day. His bed is changed and the room is cleaned every day. They are so attentive and caring. I am very happy with the care he has received. The staff are brilliant and genuinely caring. A great place.

All the staff are very attentive and very patient and kind with my mother. I couldn't be happier with their care and continued focus on her. They treat her like their own family and keep in contact. If there are any issues with her health, they contact us when they arise, immediately.

Staff are very friendly and Dad seems very happy and content. Staff are communicating very well. Very good activities and the home is managed very well and we are pleased with all care he is getting from Colinvale Court Nursing Home.

My mother has been cared for in Colinvale Court Nursing Home since March 2018. As well as providing excellent care for her, they also supported my dad and myself during and after the initial transition. They made my dad very welcome on his daily visits (yes - every single day). He, unfortunately, passed in June 2020 as he was heartbroken that he couldn't see his beloved wife every day due to lockdown. Although we were only allowed ten people at the funeral mass, we made sure there was a space for someone from Colinvale to represent Mum and the care home, that is how highly we rate the care.

Avoid this place if you want your relative looked after. Disgusting behaviour towards my mother, they didn't want her there, so they washed their hands with her, and rang an ambulance without notifying relatives to have her taken away.

My mum has been so well looked after by all staff. My mum has settled in so well. I feel so content that Mum is doing so well. Colinvale Court Nursing Home is a great place for my mum and the right place. I have no concerns for Mum, I am always well informed by the manager of any updates etc.

My mum is a resident now in the Colinvale Court Nursing Home for the last nearly two years, she is well treated and cared for by all staff and the staff are so kind to her and so helpful and approachable with any needs she has or any concerns we have, and she loves the wee dances they have on.

Really happy with the staff and facilities at the care home. Feel very comfortable with my mum being here and can’t thank the staff enough. Great value for money and they are super attentive with my mum. Couldn’t ask for a better place for her to be.

My Mother has been a resident of Colinvale for nearly 3 years. I can not fault the care the staff provide. They are very attentive and treat each resident and their families with the utmost respect. I am very happy with Colinvale and would highly recommend it.
