View Full Details of Tudordale Care HomeTudordale Care Home gave my dad a wonderful welcoming and safe environment to live out his last days. The staff were not only professional and attentive but they really care. The attention consideration they gave my dad was truly amazing. We could not fault anything about the place. His room, itself, was always kept warm and clean, the food was great and if he ever wanted anything different they would try and get it. Overall, we cannot thank the home enough for making a very difficult time more tolerable and giving us peace of mind.
The care my dad has received in Tudordale Care Home has been exceptional. Every single member of staff has shown outstanding commitment to looking after his every need. Such love, fun, attentiveness and genuine compassion are always evident. My dad has been so happy in Tudordale, he loves everyone there. The warmth and kindness of the staff is palpable. I would recommend the care home to anyone. It is truly a wonderful home.
My father was in Tudordale for over 5 years. My family thought that the care was 100% very good. The staff were excellent. The management and nurses were very good.
My husband was looked after very well by very caring and professional.
My father was in the care home for nearly 5 years. He was very happy there and cared for very well by the staff. They always made time to talk to him and joke with him and were incredibly patient with him.
Mum has received the best of care and attention from the wonderful staff in Tudordale Care Home, who made her last few years of life more comfortable. Communication was great, keeping our family updated with Mum's daily care, and we built up a great deal of trust and friendships with many of the staff who cared for her.
My dad has been in Tudordale Care Home for some time and I am very satisfied with the home in general. All his needs are being catered for and above everything else, he is happy. He is well cared for - always fed and dressed and he's offered activities and stimulation. The staff are professional, caring and well-trained to deal with Dad's special needs. I am always kept well informed about any changes in my dad's health/needs. I can relax and be less stressed knowing he is in Tudordale Care Home.
My mum moved in two years ago, very confused with delirium on top of Alzheimer's. The staff had the necessary patience and kindness to help her settle in - also gave me great reassurance that she would settle in time. Staff became like extended family. Support over lockdown has been good - facebook photos etc and phone calls. Mum beams with joy when she sees her favourite carers and we know she is safe and well cared for.
The internal decor has recently been updated. However, the garden is in a terrible and unsafe condition, broken seats, broken tables, ponds that patients can easily fall into. This would be a lovely area for patients and visitors but it is an eyesore. It has been discussed with the manager on several occasions with nothing being done. Patients frequently fall outside. No money could be found to make it useable, yet the manager's office and hall were newly carpeted. Staff, apart from the manager, are wonderful and care is of a very high standard, despite often being short-staffed.
In the three months my Father has been in care in Tudordale I and my Sister have been very happy with the care he has received. On two occasions Dad needed medical care and they were quick to spot the problem and bring in a Doctor. They were also very good at keeping us informed. Dad responds very little now due to his dementia but they make a lot of effort to stimulate him.
Staff are very good with mum if anything goes wrong, like falls or infections. The staff phone and let us know. Last July mum was very ill and all the staff were excellent with mum and family. Problems with clothes from time to time although all mums clothes have name tags stitched on. Members of staff will try to find missing clothes. At times they do not turn up. Overall Tudordale Care and support are very good.
Mum is well cared for and is happy to be in Tudordale Care Home. The staff are good and caring which is so important to an older person.
On visiting Tudordale Care Home for the first time, as we left my brother in as a resident, it wasn't easy, but the management and staff were so friendly and helpful, we knew this was the right decision. Over the next weeks before his passing on 9th March, I can honestly say the nursing care from all staff was excellent. I was always made welcome. Many thanks again for all your love, care and compassion he received. Highly recommended.
The user is very well looked after. Staff are all very pleasant. I don't have any cause for complaint.
My husband was admitted to Tudordale Care Home in February. He had dementia and other medical problems, needless to say, both his family and myself were greatly concerned, but we need not have worried. After a few days, he settled in thanks to the love and care shown him by all the staff. His general care, nursing care, food etc, are second to none. They treated him like "one of their own". I have no hesitation in recommending Tudordale, as a safe, loving and caring place "a shelter from the storm".
My brother was kept spotless, was well fed and his clothes were always colour coordinated. The staff are kind, courteous and loving, they treated us and the family with dignity and supplied many much-needed cuppas. I would have no hesitation in recommending Tudordale staff to anyone.
My Dad has been a resident in Tudordale for 8 months, and he is very happy there. The staff have got to know my Dad very well, they provide an excellent level of care and opportunities to engage in a variety of activities.
My husband is a resident in this outstanding home. He is well cared for by dedicated staff to the highest standards.
