View Full Details of Our Lady's Care HomeMy sister was a resident in Our Lady's 3 months before she passed in January just a few weeks ago. From the moment she moved into this wonderful, we all saw a big change in her. She was so happy beyond our wildest dreams as the staff carers and nurses, everyone made us so welcome and the care was second to none. Thank you, your worth is your weight in gold.
Our Lady's Care Home is an extremely well-run Home. It has a very warm friendly atmosphere throughout and the staff are excellent. They are very caring, warm, professional and supportive not just to the residents but to their families as well. The management and admin staff are very approachable for any problems that may arise. The recreational coordinators have a varied range of activities taking place on a daily basis. The rooms and all public areas are kept very clean. The laundry and kitchen staff do a tremendous job also and the meals that are produced are of a high standard. I have had experiences with other Care Homes and this is by far the best.
Wonderfully caring staff. Loads of activities for residents with huge effort in decorating for occasions. Lovely clean rooms. Facilities top notch. Constant engagement with nursing and care staff is also a big plus.
My Granny spent the last four months of her life in the Donegal Suite at Our Lady's Care Home and she couldn't have been happier there. The home was excellent but what truly stood out was the incredible staff. They cared for my Granny with such kindness and compassion, while also being a great support to my Granda and all of us who came to visit. Their warmth, gentle care and ability to make her smile every day meant the world to us. I will always be thankful for the love and care they showed her in her final months.
Our family can't thank Our Lady's Care Home, and the Donegal Suite staff in particular, enough for the care they gave our mom in the past few months. The staff in the Donegal Suite is incredible! They are professional, warm and patient. It was lovely to watch them, not only our mother, but with other residents as well. To name them all would be impossible, but every nurse, care assistant, kitchen staff, laundry staff and cleaner, made my mother's experience at Our Lady's positive and supportive. Thank you all!
My Mum passed away in the care of living angels in Our Lady's. My Mum spent two and a half years in the care of the most amazing staff. They were the most caring souls and when you needed something they were on to it straight away. I would highly recommend this care home to anyone who needs assurance that their loved one is so gently looked after you walk out of the home knowing you have nothing to worry about and you're always welcome when you arrive. I have so much to thank all the staff for they are simply the best!
Our Ladys Care Home is a nice and clean environment. Staff are welcoming, caring and passionate, and nothing is ever a problem. Management is always there if you need to chat. Admin is friendly, which is what you need at the front door. The entertainment is very good, with lots to do. Always enjoy coming to the home.
I was very pleased getting my mum into Our Lady's Care Home. I had heard so many good reports about it. All the staff from the front desk staff to management couldn't do enough for my family. The nurses plus caring staff have been brilliant - nothing is too much for them to help you.
Overall, I am very happy to leave my mummy in care here. I know due to Covid-19, things are somewhat different, and I hope, in time, we can come and go as we please and spend more quality time with my mummy.
Great staff and very attentive to my mother's needs.
Fantastic care provider!
The staff is extremely friendly. They have made the transition from hospital to care home very smoothly and nothing is too much trouble. Keep up the great work.
My uncle is going through a transition phase and Our Lady's have been extremely helpful in letting him get his independence and self-dignity back.
We were very pleased with the care our mother received in Our Lady's Care home. I found staff to be pleasant and helpful. The building is kept tidy and any requests made were met. I found this very reassuring as a relative and couldn't be more grateful at having a service like this.
Our relative has been in Our Lady's for over a year. She recently celebrated her 80th birthday there. We were delighted at the thoughtfulness of staff who decorated her room and helped us all to celebrate her birthday. From the very beginning, the staff have been friendly, helpful when needed and diligent in their care. They always have time to answer a question or give a hand when it's needed. To our relief, our relative settled in early on. She has some food restrictions and other challenges. These are well handled by the staff. We are regular visitors, so we speak from experience of seeing how our relative and the other residents are treated. Our Lady's has been a blessing for our relative and that is due to the people in it. Thank you to all concerned for easing our worries and making such a difference to our lives.
Over the years, Our Lady's Care Home has been a great home for my relative. He has multiple issues and has Huntington's. They have always did their best and I am so lucky to have them all.
My Mum has been in Our Lady's Care Home nearly 5 years. The family have been very happy with the care that she is receiving. The staff have been excellent and very supportive of the family and our needs also.
Hi, My Mum has been a resident at the beginning of the year (2018). I was very hesitant at first because of stories about care homes in general and my own feelings of guilt and failure. The staff are very understanding and caring right from the receptionist at the to the nurses and care assistants on the floor. Mum especially, and myself were made to feel really welcome. My thoughts and feelings regarding Mum and her care were listened to and understood. Although there were a few hiccups at the beginning, they were dealt with and Mum has settled in. Mum has her own room with w.c. And sink. There is a shared shower/bathroom that the residents use to have a shower with the care assistants help. She also has to be assisted with her meals. There is a communal day room and dining room. There are different social events and activities each week which Mum can be a part of. and she goes to chapel in the home each day. I take her laundry home, however, there are laundry facilities in the home.
Excellent care. Staff commitment and caring - personal touch. Food choice good, staff excellent. Mass daily- very important. Standard high and maintained with new owners.
Excellent care overall. Staff fully committed. Food and choice excellent. Mass each day for residents is a real bonus. Excellent standard has been maintained since take over. Highly recommended.
