We are very happy with my Dad's care in Pond Park Care Home. The staff are very caring and the home is very clean and a lovely, friendly atmosphere. My Dad's medical needs are well taken care of.
My grandfather entered Pond Park Care Home late last year. We have found the staff very friendly and helpful as well as respectful and diligent to the patients in their care. There are lots of activities provided which my grandad really enjoys, he loves the company of staff and residents. I find the whole atmosphere very welcoming and my young son loves to visit which is fantastic as he has been frightened to visit other care homes in the past. The staff are doing a fantastic as he has been frightened to visit other care homes in the past. The staff are doing a fantastic job.
My father has been a patient at Pond Park Care Home for the past month. He has settled well with the help of the nurse manager and the staff. A certain staff member of the EMI level has been really wonderful and all our requests have been met. I hope this high level of care continues with the accent on providing stimulating activities throughout the say as my father was a very active sportsman.
My father has been in this care home for just over a year. I can't fault it, the staff are amazing and friendly and helpful. My father is very happy and content which is what is most important, you can see he is very well looked after. I would say, without a doubt, this is the best care home in Lisburn.
A warm and friendly atmosphere, good relationship with staff and other residents, clean and healthy environment. Food suitable and healthy. Large range of activities, physical and mentally. Rooms warm and bright. The staff treat clients with respect and dignity. Overall a warm safe and friendly home.
Mum has been in Pond Park Care Home since 01/17 and we are very pleased with all aspects of her care. She is happy and well cared for by all the staff who know her by her Christian name. Nothing seems to be too much trouble and the staff appear to be actually enjoying looking after the residents.
Generally, the care staff are extremely good and kind and caring. Two members of staff, in particular, are head and shoulders above anyone else for going far above and beyond their duty when caring for father, although all the care staff are extremely attentive and work well with father.
Over the past 9 months, I have been very disappointed with the day to day running of the home. Something needs to be done about the lack of staff. I would like to see staff on one of the floors on a permanent basis, not one day here and another elsewhere. Not Good! Laundry services are not satisfactory at all.
