View Full Details of TemplemoyleMy brother has been in Templemoyle for three years I visit four times a week. The staff are always cheerful, helpful, respectful and very welcoming. During the dreadful Covid pandemic, in particular, during lockdown, I was able to speak to my disabled brother on the telephone on a regular basis. The staff made every effort to facilitate this despite being under tremendous pressure. I have only high praise for their dedication and hard work during extremely difficult times. My brother is very well cared for, he is treated with kindness and respect. I assist at meal times and have found the food to be plentiful, very nutritious and served to meet my brother’s special needs. I seldom encounter any problems, on the odd occasion when I do I only have to mention it to a member of staff and it is put right straight away. I love the old building in its tranquil rural setting, the only disturbance is that of bird song! My appreciation to everyone for the excellent care of my brother and their kindness to me.
Dank and depressing looking. Could do with brightening up. Mind you the manager can get to know the person so quickly, becomes an expert in three weeks. Once in you can't get them out. Research the place. I made the mistake of gathering information off people when it was too late, and don't depend on social workers to fight your corner.
My father has been in Templemoyle almost a year and I visit four or five days a week. I am very impressed with the standard of care my father receives. The care staff, ancillary staff, office staff and nurses very clearly have come to know my father as an individual. This means they tailor their care to his specific needs. They are all extremely open and approachable and show great patience and understanding when dealing with my father. I have also seen them deal with other residents in this way. As a regular visitor I am treated with great respect and kept up to date with all issues relating to my father’s care, indeed I am always made feel very welcome. While the building is old, it is maintained to a high standard and kept very clean. The food provided is also very well prepared and varied. I would like to thank the Manager nd all the staff for treating my father with great respect and dignity in his later years.
