Came to Croft from hospital as I am not to well. Eveyrone is so nice and always happy to help me out. Enjoy activities all the other floors, made some new friends in the home. I settled so well here.

Mum has had respite care in September and December 2024. Each time she has enjoyed her stay. Staff have made her stay very special. There are always so many activities going on to engage her! Whilst there I was able to attend a Christmas Carol service with her, which she thoroughly enjoyed and so did I! Thank you for all your continued care and support.

I have been a resident of Croft Meadow for a few months. I am feeling much better. The staff are all friendly and communicate. I have supportive help as I need it. Food and activities were of a good standard. I feel safe and happier.

I have moved here recently. I love the overall experience. Activities are good and the care is good, I think I will be very happy here.

It was my mother’s 100th birthday on May 1st and the celebration that the home put on was wonderful for relatives friends and of course for mother. The lady who organised had done a wonderful job with pictures balloons birthday cake and the entertainment.

Warm and welcoming staff, shown around by the deputy manager was very informative. My friend has been living here for a while and loves the activities, very engaging. the deputy manager has gone out of her way to respond to our requests and put our minds at rest that our friend is in safe hands.

Since Mum came to the home, she has settled in and really made friends. Food could be a little more fresh and more outings out. Very happy with the staff and the general keeping me updated with Mum. Was thinking if it would be good to have a meeting for families to attend on understanding dementia.

My wife has been very happy at Croft Meadow. The staff go out of their way to look after her, meet her needs and keep her safe They respond quickly to requests and do their best to anticipate needs. The housekeeping staff are excellent too. My favourite thing is that everyone talks to her, uses her name (and mine as well) and gives big hugs when she wants one!

Considering the circumstances we are looked after well. None of us are as content as we would be at home.

My mum has been at Croft Meadow since July this year. She has been very warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. As a result, she has settled in really quickly. The staff have been really kind, caring and helpful. They have got to know my mum's needs and treat her respectfully and as an individual. Any questions or concerns are dealt with/ answered quickly, which is excellent. My mum enjoys taking part in the activities which are well run with lots going on. I also think it’s great that the website is updated regularly, as it’s nice to see what’s been happening and see photos (as my mum has dementia, she doesn’t remember what she’s been doing, so this is really helpful as a relative). The home is bright, tidy, clean and homely and my mum is really happy there (which makes me happy too!).

I am quite happy here. The staff are helpful and it is helpful that they care for my husband who is here as a resident with dementia.

My mother has been made very welcomed and safe at Croft Meadow. She was extremely unwell in hospital and subsequently couldn't go home. All the staff have attended to her needs, both physical and mental. Her accommodation is warm, safe and secure. She has homely touches and very much feels at home. The facilities she uses are superb. Catering is varied and nutritious. She even had a cake made to celebrate her birthday. Activities range from watching TV in the main room, to having animals and small ponies come in they can interact with. Weekly activities such as singing, food tasting, games quizzes and outings. All staff are attentive, kind and have a sense of humour. My mother has commented she feels safe, warm well fed and above all happy. As a family, we couldn't wish for more. Thank you Croft Meadow for looking after our much loved mum.

My wife had recently been diagnosed with Lewy Body dementia, and after a couple of months in the hospital, a move to an appropriate care home was required. She was moved to Croft Meadow and, since then, has received excellent care in a "home-like" environment. The staff (both admin and care) have been excellent. My only negative was the process of assessment which I found wholly inadequate and distressing as within a few hours of arrival, it was found Croft was unable to meet her needs. She has since been moved again!

My mother was a resident for over eight years. Her complex needs have been successfully supported by all members of staff at all times. The administration team, carers and nursing sisters have been so supportive and professional at all times, their humour and compassion are a great help. The rest of Croft Meadow Care Home is always polite and courteous. During lockdown, all staff were professional at this challenging time. I thank you all.

Mum has been a resident of Croft Meadow for the past year and has received excellent care. The staff are unfailingly kind and patient. Despite her dementia, Mum appears content, well fed and is offered plenty of stimulation through the activities daily. Croft Meadow is bright, spacious and airy. Visiting can take place in residents' own rooms, as well as the garden. Covid restrictions have been well managed. Relatives are valued and welcomed, just as the residents are.

I have complicated nursing needs and they have helped me every step of the way; whether it be with my physical needs or my dietary needs. They have gone above and beyond every step of the way. The staff are helpful and friendly and the food is great. Thank you so much, I feel good knowing I am safe in their hands.
