View Full Details of Blaydon Day CentreExcellent facilities. Excellent staff. Excellent peace of mind that my husband is in a safe and caring environment.
Excellent facilities. Excellent staff very welcoming.
Blaydon Day Centre is outstanding, such a huge amount of care and compassion from every single member of the team who work there. We literally couldn't have managed without them. The activities they do are second to none, such care and thought goes into them. there is nothing I can fault. It's amazing and we are lucky to have found it.
No complaints. Lovely place and lovely staff.
The centre is a lovely place and very modern and always immaculately clean - there are lots of different rooms for visitors to relax and do different activities - there is an outside area which is very pleasant and has nice flowers etc - the staff are always very pleasant and will go out of their way to help you as much as they possibly can - all in all, the place is run very professionally by genuinely nice and caring staff - I would recommend this place to anyone.
I cannot fault Blaydon Day Centre. If my husband did not go there I could not cope. The staff are brilliant with him and his problems, and constant 'twisting'. He is sitting with his coat on waiting for the bus, even though he is 'twisting', he loves to go really.
My father has attended the service for approximately 18 months and it has been a lifesaver to both him and the family. He lives alone, is profoundly deaf, has poor mobility, low mood, depression and is socially isolated. Day Centre staff are kind, caring and very professional. They are extremely respectful to my father and me and play a large part in helping him maintain his independence.
My husband attends Blaydon Centre 4 days a week and at first was reluctant, but now is ready to be collected on Saturday and Sunday. He so enjoys his time at the centre. It is now twelve years since his first stroke and now had other medical issues, I could not have continued caring for him for so long without the help and support of the fantastic staff at Blaydon - always cheerful and ready to help and listen to our problems.
Great staff. Fantastic support. Well organised large variety of activities tailored support. Encouraged to stretch one's abilities. All round excellent highly recommend the centre.
Very good, could not do without, Blaydon staff are very caring. They have good meals and are taken out for walks.
Following a severe stroke, my husband has been attending Blaydon Day Centre for the past 18months. I can't fault the care and support we both get from the staff. The patience and help given to my husband means I can relax in the knowledge that he is well looked after while in there.
I had a review meeting about my mother with two members of staff. A few words to describe them: friendly, welcoming, warm, professional, empathetic and thorough. The service provided is invaluable to a woman like my mother. Keep up your excellent work!!!
I have attended a number of meetings over the past six months and from each, I have learnt something about dementia. My wife was admitted to a care home in March 2017 and I continue to benefit from the presentation made by a professional. The knowledge gained helped me to understand my wife's problems and for me to treat her condition with compassion.
There is no trouble. I like the food. Staff are helpful. I meet some nice people.
