View Full Details of Barley CourtAll of the staff have always been happy to greet and meet. I have approached the staff with various questions, and if not their remit, they have helped me find the person available to assist with my query. My mum (in-law) has been so happy since moving here. With the carers popping in during the day, a weight has been lifted off my shoulders.
Excellent place to live, cannot fault staff in any way. The big problem is getting any maintenance done.
The overall quality of carers is good. They are friendly, helpful and efficient although there is a problem with communication. The team leaders are also friendly and helpful although once again communication is really poor. Appointments are made and not notified, the same with cancellations. I have asked to see a team leader for the past week but no visit and no message!
Staff are always very helpful and on hand to help whenever needed.
My father has resided at Barley Court for over 3 years and we are very pleased with the standard of his treatment. He is also very happy to reside here and has made friends with staff and fellow residents.
I would like to say a big thank you to all of the staff at Barley Court. Mum has lived here for 4 years and they have been the happiest since Dad passed away. Everyone works so hard to look after the residents and during Covid I felt positive that Mum could not have been in better hands. Mum has a lovely relationship with the staff as do I when I visit. Mum's flat is lovely and spacious, looking out onto the garden and fish pond. We couldn't ask for more. Thanks again.
My brother continues to thrive at Barley Court thanks to the excellent care provided by the staff. There is frequent entertainment in the bar which he enjoys. Since last year all the windows have been replaced as well as the heating system.
Since my grandad moved into Barley Court in 2019, he has been really happy. The staff are excellent and very caring. They always have time for him, and he gets all the care he needs. He enjoys the activities the staff provide. In June, he turned 100, and thanks to Barley Court allowing us to use their facilities, we were able to have a get-together with all the family, including his grandchildren, great and great-great-grandchildren.
Excellent housing with care facility. Accessible and friendly management, very caring staff often going above and beyond the call of duty. All staff are very approachable and friendly and doing their very best to care for residents in their care.
My mother-in-law has resided at Barley Court since it opened. She is their longest-standing resident. Her care has always been exemplary, and it is reassuring to know that she is happy and well looked after.
I would say they are on a par with anywhere else. It has been quiet so I can sleep. I've joined in the activities. The carers are friendly and helpful. I've made some friends while I've been here.
From the time of moving into Barley Court my mother was made to feel welcome. There was a friendly, family atmosphere and she felt happy and safe. The care team were so supportive and quick to respond to situations such as 'black dog' days as well as periods of illness. Everyone was approachable and helpful, their presence was reassuring to both my mother and I. She was so happy and felt lucky to have such wonderful, caring people around her.
