View Full Details of Lisbon CourtA pity the rooms aren't a bit larger but still comfortable with a good outlook. The meals could be better but are improving. Nothing much to complain about, more than happy with the staff and management.
I love it here and the carers are lovely.
I like it here very much, I am looked after very well. The only thing I would have liked is a bigger kitchen area in the living room. As I knit a lot, we had a lot of wool given to us but not much room to put it in the bedroom. They are very good to me, and the care I get is lovely. As I am a short person they get what I cannot reach. They have a lot to do for me as I have cancer in my blood so the tablets I take and they give me, they write all this down in a folder, which takes time but they never moan.
Very friendly, kind and helpful ladies and gents. Lovely garden area, flowers, shrubs, seating comfy chairs and tables. Some of my own flower pots. They cook excellent fish and chips on Fridays and are not brought in. The washing is done perfectly and ironed. Very, very good.
I have had a number of health problems since my arrival as a resident, during which time senior staff have always been there for me. Also, the carers are there twenty-four-seven to help with your needs.
I have not been in Lisbon Court long but have found nothing but kindness from the staff and management, very helpful to my needs with medication making sure all is well and happy in the place. There are very pleasant grounds and gardens to help cheer the residents up or sit around and chat. Thank you.
My 95-year-old mum arrived at Lisbon Court nearly a year ago and she absolutely loves it and so do we. The staff are so friendly and caring, when she arrived they had made a sign for her flat door and her lovely neighbour even made her a cake to welcome her. She has made lots of friends and loves all the activities including the bingo and the coffee mornings. The place is immaculately clean and the staff are always on hand if she needs help and will flag any issues to us. Every time we visit there is such a lovely happy atmosphere, the music is always on and it just feels full of life. We feel so lucky that Mum is here as some of the other places we saw were definitely not to this extremely high standard.
This review has been written in relation to my 94-year-old mum being a resident for about four months now. From day 1 the care mum has received has been exemplary. Kindness, support and dignity at all times. The family are kept up to date with any development regarding mums care and we are all much happier knowing she is safe. I regularly visit and I am always made to feel most welcome.
I'm very happy here. The staff are extremely caring. Nothing is too much bother, night or day. The food is good and a good choice of menu. The lounge and dining rooms are like a hotel standard. It is also very clean everywhere, and our laundry is nicely done. Well done, everybody.
I have been here for nine years. Lots of smiles and just a few tears. I am paralysed from my waist down and the girls and my friends have to write everything down for me. The only things that keep me going are my brain and voice. They all do their best to look after me. I do lots of poetry to make books to put in the funds. The staff and tenants we are all good friends. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
Having lived in Lisbon Court for four years plus, I think my knowledge of the system here is good. As I have ongoing health problems, I can say that the care here is top quality. All the staff are ready and willing to give any help that is needed at any time, and this gives tenants peace of mind. Covid has been a problem, but we hope this is getting sorted, and the staff and tenants can get on with life. All in all, I consider this a good place to live, and may it remain so in the future.
My elderly mother was admitted to a flat at Lisbon Court fourteen years ago due to her increasing anxiety and living alone. She was offered a place and took full advantage of the support offered until she became totally dependent on full-time care three and a half years ago following a spell in hospital. The attention to the duty of her care has been excellent and my sister and I have confidence that her physical, mental and emotional needs are met. She is now in the last stages of her life, the family are always made welcome despite the restrictions over the past two years. This has been difficult for all staff and family during this time.
It is with great pleasure I can review Lisbon Court. I haven't been as happy for a long time. The staff and management treat me with respect and kindness. I have the freedom independence and care I haven't experienced before. I absolutely love it here.
Staff friendly and caring. I will put my name on the waiting list.
Mum enjoys very comfortable and safe accommodation which allows her a good deal of independence. The staff are all very kind and the care provided is first class. Above all mum is very happy at Lisbon Court.
Despite the government not recognising Independent Living with Care and the challenges you were faced with, you have kept my Mum safe! These are unprecedented times for us all at work and home, yet the staff give 100% and more in the care they provide. You keep me informed of Mum's welfare and when I visit, I am greeted with a warm smile! I appreciate all that you do at Lisbon Court for all the residents, which at times I am sure is very stressful and upsetting. Mum is very happy in her flat and feels very safe and secure knowing that there is always someone around when she needs help and reassurance. May I take this opportunity to thank you all, even the cat! Merry Christmas and let's hope for a peaceful and safe 2022. Best wishes.
My mum has been cared for by Lisbon Court staff for over thirteen years and she is very happy here and is well looked after. The staff are kind, caring and have kept me informed of my mum's health throughout the pandemic. Lisbon Court has a very homely and comfortable feel.
I visit my friend usually once a week. I have been coming to Lisbon Court for a few years now. I can really say I feel part of the place as I have been, before the virus, able to join in things there. One thing that impresses me are the staff. Everyone is friendly without exception.
I have been very happy during the time I have lived here ( just over three years) and I would be happy to pass this on to anyone interested.
The options are perfect. The angels or care ladies are wonderful. I would advise anybody to come here and stop.
A pity the rooms aren't a bit larger but still comfortable with a good outlook. The meals could be better but are improving. Nothing much to complain about, more than happy with the staff and management.
