View Full Details of Linters CourtMy parents lived in Linters Court until they both died. I was so pleased when we found it, both were elderly and I lived at a distance and couldn't easily reach them. Both were adamant that they didn't want to move to residential care, they wanted their own independence, but my concern was that they needed a little bit of assistance in their daily lives which I couldn't give them. Linters Court gave them that. The flat was modern and spacious with a kitchen and bathroom designed for the elderly. All communal areas were bright and clean, flat cleaning and laundry services were provided weekly and included in their maintenance fee. There were lots of activities for those who wanted to join in but you didn't have to. When I visited, I was able to stay overnight in their guest suite and park in their free car park. The staff were friendly and there is a 24-hour manager on site, with a door entry system for visitors. I can highly recommend this to anyone needing assisted living facilities
I think Linters Court is a real alternative to residential care for those who are looking for a good place to live where they can have their independence but with some support. For my mum, it was just what she needed. The building itself is within walking distance of the town with bus stops very close to it. The flats are well designed, and comfortable, with beautiful gardens to enjoy outside. My mum loved that her flat was cleaned weekly and her laundry done -all included. There is a restaurant downstairs for a nice lunch and/or dinner, reasonably priced. And a manager onsite day and night. There were regular activities and social events organised such as film nights and visits from singers. My mum loved afternoon tea in the lounge every day. Staff would lay out tea, coffee and biscuits and residents would gather, some to chat while having tea, some just to read or do the crossword in company. A nice, informal social event. The staff were so nice and I really recommend this place.
My father was a resident of Linters Court and I was incredibly pleased with the warm, welcoming, care and attention he received. The building is clean, well maintained and has a homely atmosphere that immediately put me and my family at ease. The manager and staff have gone above and beyond to make him feel comfortable. The variety of activities and social events offered helped keep him engaged and happy which made a significant difference to his mental wellbeing. I highly recommend Linters Court to anyone looking for a safe, supportive and nurturing environment for their loved ones.
