Very impressed with the overall running of the home. Clean areas and very friendly staff. Set in lovely peaceful surroundings. Rooms are lovely decorated and modern. Corridors have beautiful pictures to look at and whole place has a sense of calm.

My overall experience of the daycare centre is excellent. Especially the staff who have been excellent in their communication with you.

My mother has been attending Barchester Ashlar House Day Care Centre for about four years. She enjoys her visits twice a week. The staff are kind, friendly and professional. It is a cheery place and my mum enjoys the centre to be around other people her own age. The staff do various activities when she attends and on one occasion that mum took ill, they were very capable and I was contacted right away. I would recommend the day centre wholeheartedly. The day centre has provided a life line to my husband and myself as we cope with looking after an 89 year old with advanced dementia. My mum has been living with us for the past five years.

My mother who suffers from dementia has recently been attending Barchester Ashlar House Care Home, we call it her club! Initially, she was reluctant to go, but from the moment she walked through the door, the staff were brilliant in welcoming her and including her forward to going. This now gives my father of 89, my mother's full-time carer, a few hours to himself, which is much needed. Thank you to everyone who works there.

Helpful caring staff. Games enjoyable dominoes.

The staff are excellent, very helpful. Good food. There is a lot of camaraderie and the staff ae willing to help. There is lack of exercise needs to do more.
