View Full Details of Town End CloseI enjoyed my stay here at the care home, a lot of friends that I knew, thank you.
Very friendly, good size rooms. Good staff. Good food.
After visiting different care homes, I decided on Town End Close, after being impressed with the friendliness and attitude of staff whilst visiting - remaining the same throughout my stay. I shall be calling them each time I need respite care (October, Easter and summer). My stay for five weeks has been most enjoyable.
Town End Close is a little gem of a care home. Spotlessly clean, smartly furnished and of manageable size. The staff are extremely caring and thoughtful. The food is varied and appetising. Visitors are offered a cup of tea instantly. In future years, it would be lovely if a conservatory could be built off the lounge into the rear garden. The large loud TV isn't always welcome to all residents.
My Grandma sadly passed away on the 27th January, having achieved her 100th birthday on 1st January. She spent seven happy years at Town End Close from 2010. The staff are excellent and were very caring and friendly towards Grandma and me. It has been so nice to know that Grandma was well cared for and respected, she had a nice large room, and made some good friends while she was there. She had opportunities to go on all the trips they had and was taken down to the park quite often in her wheelchair, which she loved to do.
