View Full Details of St Peter's Court Care HomeFrom the moment my mum moved into St Peter's Court the care and support she received were excellent. Everyone was professional, kind, and attentive, helping her to feel comfortable and at home. However, it was in the final weeks of her life that their compassion and dedication shone even brighter. The care they provided was nothing short of amazing. Sheila deserves a special mention, not only for the care she showed my Mum but also for treating me like a friend; offering comfort and reassurance at such a difficult time. And the manager went above and beyond visiting my mum in the hospital on multiple occasions. Mum always said she wanted to spend her final days at St Peter's because she considered it her home, and the manager and his team made that possible. For that, I will be forever grateful. I can't thank them enough for the love and care they showed, not just to my mum, but to our whole family. THANK YOU.
I would like to thank St Peter's Court Care Home and the wonderful members of staff. My husband has asked for a place for 1 month. The care and professionalism shown to him and myself has been outstanding, medical issues soon resolved as well as the care received. As a retired social worker and a borough councillor. I have been to many establishments however this is one of the best attended.
All the staff do such a tough job under very difficult and taxing circumstances, and you should be proud of the way you deal with people at the end of their lives. With this in mind, my mother was able to pass away peacefully in her room, after a number of days tender and gentle care by any number of dedicated staff members. My sister and I are so grateful for the care and attention you gave her in St. Peter's and we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
St Peter's Court Care Home has been so kind, supportive and caring to my mother. She has settled in and made new friends. She engages in activities on a good day. Staff always make sure she is okay. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly. Any queries are answered positively. Mum is happy and safe.
I have found the staff to be friendly, approachable and professional. The timely manner in which they dealt with our family's needs couldn't be faulted. My mum is like a new woman with a new lease of life.
The standard of care was first class and the staff were caring and always ready to help. When my husband passed away the staff helped me and my family to process it and we are grateful for the support given.
Dear all, I am writing this review to let all members of staff in St Peter’s know how much I appreciate each and every one of them. I had a short stay in the home, which proved to be longer than anticipated. Every one of the staff from seniors to carers were amazing. Being of sound mind, I watched the love and care they gave to long-term residents. They showed how much they cared for each individual. I also came to become really fond of some of the residents. I thank you so much for the help to build me back up. All of you are Angels. God bless you all.
Many thanks to all the staff who looked after Mam (died 9th February) over the last few years and her final days with care and compassion. Being far away it was good to know she was well cared for and happy at Saint Peter's. All relatives and friends who visited remarked on your welcoming and caring environment. Thank you all.
I am writing to express my sincere and heartfelt thanks to everybody who cared for my nanna up until her passing away on Saturday. What an amazing team of people. The care and support she received during her time at the home was second to none. During her last few months with us, she was transferred to the dementia ward. Her transfer up to the first floor gave her a new lease of life. She was engaged in so many activities and really thrived. I actually cannot believe that she started knitting again and was revelling in being part of a community again. Special thanks to one staff member in particular who provided incredible support and guidance to me during a very difficult time, right up to the point where she lost consciousness. Having the ability to speak to Nanna in her final moments of consciousness and tell her how much I loved her was so very special. I am so very grateful for that. You are all so warm and caring people and thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I think home is excellent. Staff from management to cleaners are most helpful.
Enjoy living here.
Really pleased with the level of service and care. My aunt is really safe here and perked up no end. Thank you to all staff.
I love living in this place. Love the banter with the staff. Treat this like home. Very good food, I know I'm getting fat.
I love living here.
My mum stayed here for three weeks, and what a difference it made to her. She loves it; she didn't think she would. She spoke more and joined in the activities, which normally she never would, even if I was there. Enjoying all the meals, beautifully cooked and a good variety. All the staff and management are so very friendly and helpful, making you feel at home. She would very happily go back but sadly did in August, but I'm so happy she tried it!
I couldn't fault the care and dedication of the staff looking after my Mother, they worked very hard to make sure she was comfortable right until her passing away. The only thing I wasn't happy with was the cleaning of her room, every time I went to visit, I had to clean everything with wet wipes. Maybe the cleaner didn't have time, I don't know. Anyway, my Mam passed away on August 2nd sat in a chair fast asleep in her room, so thank you to everyone involved with her care.
My husband spent the last six months of his life in St Peter's Court Care Home. We could not have wished for better care for him. The staff are fantastic and could not do enough for us.
My nanna has been at St Peter's for nearly a month. My nanna has been treated with the utmost care and respect since day one. Nanna has thoroughly enjoyed her stay at St Peter's and would recommend this home in the future. All the staff were welcoming and friendly. The additional cats (Rosie and Jim) were gorgeous too.
My father seems very contented in the home, and all the staff are very kind and considerate towards all of the residents. I feel he's in the best place to cater for his needs.
When I first visited St Peter's Court Care Home I was impressed because it seemed like a well-run residential hotel. Each member of staff smiled as I passed and they looked happy. When my wife moved in, I found that staff were eager to assist in making her comfortable. This has carried on ever since, extra touches like passageway tables with fresh fruit, packets of biscuits and chocolate bars are freely available to mobile residents. This all helps to make the place like a home. Visitors are welcomed without restrictions on visiting hours, they can join residents for a meal without charge as a guest of the resident. Relatives can see that their loved ones could not be in better hands. The kind care company lives up to it'ss name!
