View Full Details of Homefield Grange Care HomeMum came to Homefield Grange from Poole hospital, I had support from the outset from the client liaison staff, nursing staff and carers. Mum was treated with compassion and dignity throughout her short stay with her nursing an daily care needs being tended to with care and compassion. I was kept up to date at all times and always felt welcomed + heard. Thank you.
My husband was only at the home for a short while. As a family, we felt that his physical and mental needs were cared for very well. When he passed away, the staff were extremely kind and caring.
To the best of my knowledge, this is a good and caring home to live in and the residents needs are met. The staff are friendly, happy and helpful. The residents all seem happy. This home is lovely and clean.
My mother has had respite care here. It is a really good place: clean, spacious, caring staff and good food. Clearly it is well run as all staff work well together and are happy in their work. There are good quality activities most days. As family members we have also been well supported by staff which has been very much appreciated.
My mum has been a resident of Homefield Grange for two and a half years now. She is 93 years old and has dementia. Homefield Grange is now her home. Homefield Grange is not perfect, sometimes mum wears clothes that aren't hers, sometimes the tablecloths might be a bit messy BUT my mum is warm, well fed and extremely well looked after. She is also happy. She may not be living in the world we know but she is happy in her world and that means so much to me.
My review remains the same as earlier this year, Homefield Grange are outstanding, caring and professional, a superb team. Thank you. Homefield Grange have looked after my mum for nearly 4 years. She was diagnosed with vascular dementia and has suffered multiple falls. As her health has steadily declined, the team have sensitively and professionally supported her care and well-being. Now under the able caring and knowledgeable leadership of the manager, the team are brilliant - as much as they are able to create a happy and homely environment for all the residents. Thank you for looking after mum.
My mother is very happy in Homefield Grange, which is no mean feat because she always used to say she would never consider moving to a care home in later life. Subsequent ill-health, however, necessitated full-time nursing care and mum relented. Both she, and wider family, are very pleased and grateful that she has been able to move to Homefield Grange - a haven of calm and efficient care. Friendly staff provide for her needs while maintaining her dignity. Thank you Homefield!
Never worry about leaving mum when I say goodbye! Staff always happy and friendly, food always looks great. Would be nice if mum could get out. Bus hopefully back working now. Reception staff very helpful.
My mum has been with Homefield Grange Care Home for 2 years and she is absolutely thriving. She was quite poorly when she first arrived due to unmanaged diabetes. Since being in the home and monitored daily she has improved ten fold. She enjoys every aspect of Homefield Grange even though she was very very reluctant to move into residential care. We as a family would like to thank all of the staff at Homefieled Grange, I really can not fault anything.
Residents are treated with respect and can have own privacy if needed. If they want company and activities that is also provided. Residents have a set choice of menu, but if not liked can choose something else. Birthdays are also made special.
I visit Homefield very regularly, always unannounced. I have always found the care of my mother and from what I see, of the other residents too, to be incredibly kind, supportive and often with humour.
All the staff are most helpful, friendly and approachable. I feel my father is in caring hands and staff know him well and his personal needs. My father is content and happy at the home. It's good to see him up and dressed and in a communal area when I visit in the mornings.
My mother is a resident and we all were made very welcome when she first arrived. The staff are so friendly to my mum and us and she says she feels safe. If my mums happy, then I am. The staff always show the professional touch with my mum and she smiles at them every time.
I visited my father, now 103, at Homefield recently with my cousins from South Africa. We were given a delicious lunch with my father sitting with us. Everyone wanted to make the long distance family visit a memorable event which it was. The care and personal attention my father receives are heartwarming and such a relief to know he is safe, happy and under constant supervision.
Since my mum has been at Homefield Grange she has improved more and more each week that goes by. She is now very settled and happy there. She finds the staff very helpful, caring, kind and friendly. We also find the staff very helpful and friendly and we are so happy that she was given the room at Homefield Grange. Thank you to you all for making her life a happy one and taking the best care of her.
Homefield Grange has been home for my husband for nearly 3 years, he has been very well looked after by the nurses and carers and treated with kindness and dignity. Nothing is too much trouble for them, they are all amazing. When I visit my husband I am also greeted with a smile and a cheery word from all the members of the team.
This home is well-managed and runs to a very high standard. Nursing care is excellent and all the staff are friendly always readily available and willing to assist. There is a lovely atmosphere in lovely surroundings amongst staff and residents which is very heartwarming to us all.
Mum has been a resident since August 2023, she is now moving to another caring homes home, to be nearer to family. Overall our experience has been positive, staff have kept us updated on Mum's care, and reception staff always welcoming. Impressed with the cleanliness, facilities offered at Homefield and the activities which Mum has enjoyed immensely. We believe she has been well cared for during her time at Homefield. Thank you to the staff for your kindness and compassion, wishing you all the very best.
Dad has been a resident for over a year and I have been impressed by the continuity of care staff and the communication and support we've experienced as a family. The care staff/nurses have taken the time to get to know Dad and treat him with dignity. They feedback brilliantly to the family and have time to talk through issues. The rooms are a little tired and email responses regarding admin (and finance from the central office) are slow at times. I feel Dad is safe and well looked after and would recommend Homefield Grange to others.
This is a wonderful place for Mum to live. The staff are fantastic!
