I have been extremely impressed with all aspects of my friend's care home. Activities are well organised, visits from local schools are great. The staff are always extremely welcoming and have an obviously good relationship with my friend. The physical environment is excellent and compare extremely favourably to other care homes I've visited.

As a retired NHS community based physiotherapist with 35 years experience of visiting my patients in all types of residential environment I am well qualified to comment on the care provided by Mosswood. The building itself is well thought out and well designed and is purpose built for residents with a variety of care needs. All staff who I have interacted with directly and those who I have observed interacting with residents have demonstrated a high level of care and devotion. Each and every member of the nursing and non nursing staff have been welcoming and kind and have helped create such a caring environment. Management have obviously put together a caring and loving team and every one of the team should be congratulated on what they are striving to create. Mosswood is one of the very best care homes that I have ever visited and it should be used as a template for all care homes.

Mum has been a resident at Mosswood Care Home for over two years. The staff welcome at the beginning was excellent and she made this her new home. Her care has always been outstanding, she is treated with love and always put at the centre of all decisions. She has come to see many staff as an extension of her own family. We cannot praise the staff highly enough, particularly those within the Gryffe unit.

I cannot have more gratitude and admiration for all the staff at Mosswood Care Home. They go above and beyond to look after my mum and give me peace of mind she is in the right place living with Alzheimer’s.

The colleagues at Mosswood Care Home are fantastic. They look after the residents with empathy and always treat them with dignity and respect. The care home is immaculate and the staff do everything possible to make both the residents and their visitors feel welcome and comfortable. I cannot praise the staff enough and will recommend Mosswood Care Home without hesitation.

Mosswood is a very caring home for my mother. She is very happy there and feels safe. We as a family, feel reassured that my mother is getting good care. The home is friendly, clean and bright. The staff are amazing and entertainment is enjoyable for the residents. I hope that Mosswood continues with all the good work and effort they put in to provide the residents with the care and support that they receive on a daily basis.

Cannot recommend Mosswood Care Home highly enough; the care is exceptional. I have experience of dealing closely with four care homes for family members over the past four years and this is the best in terms of standard of care for the resident, quality of the care home environment and communication with the family. The liaison with GP surgery is very good; the staff from Day 1 'claimed' the resident and began to sort out medical issues immediately which was an incredible support to us as a family as our experience in another care home had been very different. Highly recommended.

From my first visit to Mosswood Care Home, I have been impressed by the professional and caring approach of all staff. My sister and I visited the home when looking for a future residence for both our parents. Sadly our father passed away at the end of May and we knew our mum would not be able to return home. We had no doubt we wanted her to move to Mosswood and were delighted when an appropriate place was available. Mum moved on the 21st of June and the care and attention she has received have been exemplary. Every member of staff I have encountered is so warm and professional which has made a potentially difficult time for us much easier. Not only does my mum feel at home but my sister and I also feel part of the Mosswood family and have no doubt our mum is in the best place.

My father was a resident at Mosswood Care Home. I am an ex-nurse and due to ill health have had many admissions to various hospitals and I have found the NHS sadly lacking. The staff working in Clyde Annex have restored my faith in nursing. Their nursing care for my father was exceptional, we visitors were also given refreshments. His every need was attended to in a most professional manner. In fact, it would have been the care I would have given my father had I nursed him. The atmosphere on entering the home was calm, interaction to all residents was thoughtful and caring. I enjoyed the “banter” between the residents and all staff. The home did not smell of urine as some homes do, it was warm and inviting and the decor was most pleasing, not too clinical. Everyone we spoke to came presented as happy people with a caring attitude. Clyde’s staff are an excellent advertisement for your home and company. I just hope they are paid a fair rate for the job. The team are excellent, welcoming and take excellent care of my mother-in-law. The facility is kept immaculate and exceptionally well maintained. They are number one in my opinion. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mosswood and the team to friends and family.

My wife has been in this care home for over a year now, the home is kept fresh, clean and warm. The carers are friendly, cheerful and kind to those in their charge. At a recent emergency hospital visit-always, a day-long visit- her carer gave up her free time to stay attending to her needs. Well done.

My father suffers from Parkinson's Disease, mild dementia and mobility issues. After visiting many care homes in the area we selected Mosswood Care Home and my father was admitted in November 2021. This was an excellent decision. The facility is very clean and modern. It is well run by a fantastic team with a strong culture of caring. There have been many examples where staff have gone above and beyond to support my father (and myself). My questions, requests and feedback are always listened to and acted upon. Challenges such as Covid-19 have been managed admirably and the rules that keep the residents safe are enforced with a smile. Their professionalism and everyday actions give me, my family and my father's friends peace of mind that he is in good hands. From the reception through all areas of the facility, Mosswood is a happy place. Simply amazing!

My dad has been a resident within Mosswood since June 2021, after he was unable to reside safely within his own house. He suffers from dementia and is now immobile and can easily become upset/disorientated. I can't praise all members of staff enough, from the receptionist, through to all carers and nurses. They all look after my dad and make him as comfortable as possible at all times and cater for all his needs. It gives myself and my sister peace of mind, just knowing that he is in a secure, safe environment. The complex is always very clean and hygienic. Having been in an out of other care establishments throughout the years in my job and also previously with my mum, I cannot commend Mosswood, enough. Well done and thanks.

My mum has been a resident of Mosswood Care Home for 2 years, and I am very happy with the standard of care and attention she receives from all the staff. It has been a difficult time with COVID but Mosswood have been very accommodating throughout this period. There are opportunities to raise concerns, and these have been dealt with promptly. My mind is at ease knowing that my mum is safe and well looked after. All the staff from the reception and the care staff are friendly and helpful. Thank you for looking after my mum so well.

Mum was admitted a few weeks before Christmas last year. This was a very difficult and sad time for our family. The staff in Mosswood through their kindness, compassion and empathy helped enormously to settle my mum and throughout the year I have found all the staff extremely patient and thoughtful. The staff know my mother very well and I feel she is getting the best care possible.

We have been very happy with the care our mum is receiving. The staff are very professional and friendly, keeping us up-to-date with our mum's progress. On the whole, there has been continuity in care and in staffing, which is very important to us. Our mum required input from a dietitian, which was requested and followed up in a timely manner, by the charge nurses. The staff generally know us by name and know our mum's likes and dislikes. The social activities were in the past average, however, we believe this has been addressed.

I am writing to express my thanks to the staff at Mosswood Care Home for the love and care they have shown towards my mother. She was a resident at the home for just over 12 months, and during that time, the staff were always very friendly, helpful and approachable. Sadly Mum passed away this week, but the nurses and carers helped the family through this sad time. I highly recommend this home for your relative.

Staff - extremely kind, caring and supportive to my father-in-law, my wife and myself throughout this hard time. My wife and I are confident that our parent is in the best hands. Nothing is too much trouble, arranging phone calls and visits and putting our minds at rest by always make sure we wash hands, take temperatures and provides masks if needed to keep everyone safe. Management - have total confidence in them, they lead by example and are always available if needed. In general - although my wife and I couldn't visit Dad for over a year, when we eventually saw him, he was healthy and happy - speaks volumes.

My father's complex needs are well catered for. All of the staff - operational, admin, management are very informative. I have absolutely no concerns about my father's care. Staff are always helpful with very positive outlooks, even in these unprecedented times.
