View Full Details of Mildenhall LodgeMum has been residing at Mildenhall Lodge for nearly a year now. The difference in her is amazing. Mum has dementia, and from being someone who was so anxious, isolating herself away from others, not eating properly, etc - she is now going on group outings, she has made friends, is eating properly and is happy! I live some distance away so can't visit as much as I would like but I know the staff will contact me if there are concerns. I can see her regularly on social media, doing things that I never thought I would see again. The staff are so conscientious and cheerful. The home always smells nice and clean, and you can see how much pride and care has been invested in it. My brother visited yesterday when she was looking forward to bangers and mash for lunch and said it was a brilliant visit. I really can't praise Mildenhall Lodge enough, and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who is worried about an elderly relative. Thank you.
My siblings and I visited our uncle and were extremely impressed with not only the care home but also the staff. We received a very warm and welcoming response from all the staff we met. But more importantly, we knew our uncle was safe, comfortable and certainly treated with dignity there, thank you all. I just hope there is a care home like yours where I live if needed.
Mildenhall Lodge care home has some of the nicest people I have ever met. They are very kind, hard-working, never miss a trick. They show so much love to their patients. I have never found fault with any of them. They go out of their way to help everyone.
All staff are excellent and my mum feels safe here.
After a scare in October, when we thought my husband was close to end of life, the superb care he received from our doctor and Mildenhall Lodge caring staff, he pulled through. They go over and above to look after him and me also with the utmost respect.
It was a pleasure to visit our friend today. We had a friendly welcome from the staff and everywhere was immaculate. We enjoyed a coffee in the cafe. Our friend showed us around and we were very impressed.
I attended one of the relative's meetings for the first time and was blown away by the pride and care the manager, deputy, and entertainment/activities coordinator infused in everything said. It is clear to see that the ethos of this care home is one of deep-rooted caring with an eye to improvement should anything fall below their high standards. Great to hear the events coming up in the next couple of months; the residents will be busy!
Mildenhall Lodge is friendly, community-minded and well-run. Staff are approachable and generally nothing is too much trouble. Always clean, always well-staffed. Activitities are regular, and well thought out with much effort made. Would always recommend to others. Run as a care home should be.
My mother has been a resident for nearly 7 months and has had excellent care in a friendly and caring environment. She is happy and content.
After a shaky start on our part, the staff have been very supportive and done their best to provide care to my father. His rapidly changing moods have meant that he is challenging to help but the more experienced carers have dealt with this with humour and kindness. The rooms could be bigger and brighter and the furniture is minimal and a little tired-looking but the communal areas are bright and comfortable.
Highly recommended. All the staff are simply amazing. I just don't know how to begin to express my thanks to everyone at Mildenhall Lodge for their exceptional care and kindness to my mother and our entire family. They made you feel like part of a huge welcoming family so very considerate and caring. The onsite chef and kitchen staff whipped up special requests to try to get Mum to eat when her appetite disappeared. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Making birthdays and anniversaries special celebrations. There are always activities and any excuse for a party. Weekly entertainers. The manager is very helpful friendly and easy to contact. During Mum's passing they were so considerate and caring. Assisting with difficult tasks understanding helpful and just like family. They are all so genuine. All residents are treated like family. Myself and my family are forever grateful for your support and kindness.
Some absolutely amazing staff, going above and beyond. Deserve better pay!
Our dad seems to be happy and is well cared for at Mildenhall Lodge. He has dementia and his needs and understanding of life are understood by the carers, and he is very well supported and looked after. His every need is met, and the family is kept informed of everything about Dad. Mildenhall Lodge is very welcoming, a happy place, and the carers are marvellous. The activities are incredible, food delicious, and as a family, we feel lucky for Dad to be there.
The initial impression of the building from the outside is favourable. The entrance and reception area welcoming and the staff on duty are keen to help. Taken to my brother's room which I found light, airy and a good size. The staff whom I saw were caring and patient! My brother seems to be happy and content living at Mildenhall Lodge. Unable to rate all areas as not applicable to me.
Really good great help.
My experience at Mildenhall Lodge has been truly positive. All the staff are friendly and also very helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. My aunt has flourished since she arrived just over a month ago. She is enjoying her life in a way she hasn't done for a long time.
My wife has been in the home for 3 weeks now and her care has been excellent.
I am very happy with the treatment my husband is getting.
Staff are lovely, happy and caring.
I have been consistently pleased with the level of care my mum received at Mildenhall Lodge. I feel that Mum is safe and well looked after and that provided me with peace of mind, which is precious. Staff are friendly and engaged. the home also arranges daily activities for residents which I consider to be very important to stimulate and bring joy to the residents. As a regular visitor, I also appreciate the welcome I receive and the connections I have made as I navigate this difficult journey with Mum.
