View Full Details of Green Tree CourtI would like to extend my deepest gratitude for the exceptional care and support provided to my parents during their time at Green Tree Court. As their only child living abroad, it has been a great comfort to know they were in such compassionate and capable hands. The kindness and dedication demonstrated by all the staff has been truly remarkable. The respect, dignity, and love with which my father was treated until his passing have left an indelible mark on my family. Your team's commitment to his comfort and well-being was a source of great solace during a difficult time. The genuine sense of community within Green Tree Court has profoundly impacted my mother, who continues to thrive under your care. The thoughtful activities and social interactions organized by your team have significantly enhanced her quality of life, providing her with joy and companionship.
On first walking through the door, we as a family knew it was the right place for our dear mum. All of the staff are so natural, friendly, helpful and above all else professional, but in an easy caring way. Humour plays a large part in the day-to-day environment, which is wonderful. Mum has settled in really well and enjoys the social activities provided, especially the various singers that come every week to entertain and encourage the residents to join in. Who would have thought Mum at 94 would join in the Green Tree Court Choir! As a family we could not have hoped for a better environment for Mum to enjoy her later years. Mum loves her room, which is homely, with all her photos etc but it is also practical for her needs at this stage in life. Thank you everyone at Green Tree Court.
Mum moved to Green Tree Court in November 2023, having spent 11 months in another care home, where she was very unhappy. The change in Mum since moving is wonderful to see, she is much happier and more settled. The staff are amazing, and it really feels like a family. It has also meant that I am much more relaxed as I know Mum is being so well cared for.
I have a 93-year-old mum who is lucky to be living under the care of the Green Tree Court family for the last two years. She arrived at Green Tree Court underweight with various acute medical conditions. We were preparing for the inevitable! The Green Tree Court family/team has made a positive impact on her life. She has been treated with respect, love, and care by every member of staff. I believe this is as a result of the the model that is in place by the Care Manager and their ability to recruit train and retain quality staff members across the organisation. The staff are friendly, approachable, and empathetic and communicate well across the teams to ensure that Mum gets the best quality of care and love both physically, mentally, and emotionally. This model of care through continuous improvements at Green Tree Court, should be replicated across the Care sector and afforded to everyone in their time of need.
My mum is here for end-of-life care and both my mum and me (her daughter) and her partner have been treated with nothing but dignity and respect. Nothing is too much for them and the carers and nurses are always putting my mum's interests first. Even though Mum is sleeping now they talk to her every time they check on her and they tell her everything they are doing. The hospitality and catering staff are out of this world. They don't just do the food and drink they chat to family and residents and they make sure you're ok. Nothing is too much trouble for anyone here and I can't single out anyone's job roles as being any better than another. I have felt listened to when needed and comforted during the turbulent hours. I had huge concerns about a home as nothing was ever going to be good enough for my mum, but I eat my words; it's lovely here. Thank you, Green Tree, for making these final moments bearable.
My mother was admitted to Green Tree Court for palliative care and I must unreservedly thank the staff and management for their care and professionalism in making her last few weeks as comfortable and dignified as possible. Also, the level of kindness and hospitality towards her family and loved ones was truly humbling and we are eternally grateful for the support we received in that most difficult of times.
Cannot fault anything about Green Tree Court. Every single member of the team has kindness and care at an unbelievable level. Not only is our mum cared for so incredibly well, we are also cared for and supported with what is a difficult and often challenging situation.
My mother became a resident at Green Tree Court 10 months ago and it took no time at all for her to settle into the home. The home is very comfortable and has a relaxed environment. The staff on reception and in admin are always welcoming and helpful. The Activities Coordinator is very skilled and the daily activities are stimulating and diverse on Willow. The nursing staff provide very good care and the communication is good between staff and families. The home is kept very clean and the food is excellent and beautifully presented. I would recommend Green Tree Court to anyone.
The staff are super friendly, kind and patient. The reception staff are quite exceptional in making visitors feel welcome. My husband is almost always shaved, showered and well dressed. He is often not an easy patient, but the carers work tirelessly to keep him happy, calm and comfortable. The food is marvellous, and the catering staff couldn’t be more accommodating. Really, I can think of very little that could be improved. I am so grateful that my husband is at Green Tree Court nursing home.
My mum was lucky enough to be able to live under the care of Green Tree Court for the last 2 years. She became part of their big family and was loved and cared for better than I could have ever imagined. My mum had dementia and was in another home previously that didn't really cater for this. It was totally different here as they always encouraged her to be out of her room and join in whenever possible. They had wonderful, regular activities and events and it brought her smile back again. The last couple of months were particularly hard as she could no longer get out of bed, but the staff were so loving that she was hardly ever left alone. I would often go in and someone was sitting with her, massaging cream into her hands and feet or just talking to her, even when she couldn't respond. All the staff were amazing from the time you walked in the door and the food was well thought out and delicious. The best thing of all was mum was happy there. What more could I ask for!
My father was treated with the utmost respect, dignity and kindness in his last couple of months. The facilities are amazing and the staff couldn't be nicer. The rooms are spotlessly clean. The activities are fantastic and when my father could not join in the activities, organisers would go to his room and read poetry to him.
My husband arrived at Green Tree Court on the 24th of April 2022, having been in the hospital for three weeks. He was almost two stone underweight and unable to walk, in a matter of weeks he had put on weight and walking independently with the use of a walking frame. I was immensely relieved to hear that my husband would be able to stay at this wonderful care home permanently. My husband has vascular dementia and type 1 diabetes. The care he has received this last year has been exemplary. Treated with love and kindness, and above all great patience, he has become contented and has thrived in this wonderful environment. He regards all at Green Tree Court as his friends, to him they are much more than nurses or carers and for this, I will be eternally grateful.
My father was in Green Tree Court, the staff and home were excellent in every way possible. Nothing was ever too much trouble. They were always up for a good banter with dad which he loved. I would certainly recommend Green Tree Court to anyone.
I could not have wished for better nursing care for my mum during her recent stay at Green Tree Court. The room was beautiful and was just like home from home. All of the staff treated mum with dignity and tender loving care and nothing was too much trouble. They not only looked after mum, but they also looked after the wider family to ensure we were doing ok too. I was anxious about choosing a nursing home for my mum, ensuring it was the right home for her needs. I am so glad that it was Green Tree Court where she spent her last days, and I would have no hesitation in recommending this facility to anyone else. The care she received was superb.
The staff and management are informed, professional and caring. My cousin settled much quicker and easier than expected, thanks to the staff and the activities.
My sister received tender loving care from all the staff at the home during the last weeks of her life. During the day and at night there were regular visits to my sister's room to ascertain her needs. During my visit to the home, emphasis was made that I and my family also needed to be looked after. Unfortunately, my sister passed away when my family was absent, but it gave us great comfort that a member of the home staff was with her holding her hand. When we returned the day after her passing to collect my sister's belongings the staff were very concerned about our welfare to ensure we were OK. I was concerned before my sister's admittance whether she would get the care she needed, but I need not have worried as it was magnificent.
Beautiful home which has quality written all over it. The staff are wonderful and take the time to help whatever you need. The food is amazing and way beyond anything I have experienced in any other homes. Feels like a home away from home.
I will be eternally grateful to the staff at Green Tree Court for making my mothers life so interesting and comfortable. When she arrived she was depressed and hardly eating or drinking. She had not settled in a previous home. Green Tree Court has now got her on a course of less medication but the right medication. Their activities coordinator is dedicated, intelligent and kind. The staff are attentive but not patronising. In the past I have found that so called 'care plans' look good on paper but bear no relationship to the care that is actually given. Green Tree Court develop a care plan and act upon it. The staff communicate with each other about mums care needs, and they communicate with her. She has improved enormously, and is developing new skills with the activities she takes part in. Discussion groups, quizzes, scrabble, crosswords, art, talks, films. She feels safe and secure. The food is delicious. The menu choices always make me feel hungry. It is like a 5 star hotel. Mum has been there for 3 months and the service we have had has been faultless. Being a new building, the rooms are large and purpose built. Everything is fresh, airy and spotlessly clean.
The home is excellent. Can a bit busy at times. The food is great.
My relative had a long stay in hospital before arriving at Green Tree Court, we wanted to find somewhere relaxing and homely for her to live, as it wasn't possible for many reasons for her to return home. We visited Green Tree Court and met with staff there who were kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. We really liked the lay out at Green Tree, which is modern, spacious and very clean. Residents can have their own furniture and items in their room however, if they wish. My relative has made such a good recovery since being at Green Tree, she is more confident and I know she is very well looked after there, which is such peace of mind. When we visit, we can book in for a meal at Green Tree, which is important to us, as my relative was always a real hostess and this is a good way for us to spend quality time with her, and the food really is delicious! They have a slide and climbing frame in the garden for children to play on, which is also helpful when we visit. I feel Green Tree is a luxury care home of very high standards, and I have been very impressed with the care received.
