View Full Details of Aria Care HomeThere are some excellent caring staff at Aria some of whom have been long standing. This includes care assistants and kitchen domestic and reception. They are excellent at communicating when required. Fees have increased and only superficial works have been undertaken to improve the reception area and lower stairs. The outside areas have hardly been utilised this year partly due to the weather. The outside area could be improved. My mother's room has a boarded over bath used for storage of pads etc. We were told that improvements would be made to provide wet rooms. Visiting although thankfully very flexible is difficult due to lack of space. It is difficult to sit near your loved one as there is only one large communal area used. The other issue is only 2 toilets that can be used on the ground floor for all residents. Sometimes this does mean a wait for residents who need assistance and does not aid continence. My mother is now settled into the home and they manage her needs well.
I have peace of mind that my Mother is being well looked after by the staff in the home. The choice of activities is varied and caters to the resident's needs. There is also a choice of meals for lunch and tea, the food is of good quality and presented well. The home is welcoming for residents and their families.
My sister is very happy in your care. She has made lots of friends and enjoys the activities. Laundy sadly still needs improving as all her white underwear is now grey! Overall, we are very happy with things. We feel that the comfy chairs could do with replacing as they are sat in them a long time and they are showing their age.
I am very pleased with the care my mother is receiving at Aria by all the staff. Everyone at Aria treat my mother with the greatest respect and dignity and always with a smile on their faces. The cleanliness of Aria is excellent, there is a constant effort made to keep all rooms and floors clean. The activities are the best they can be with the area provided, it is a shame we didn't have a larger, flatter area outside. Overall I'm very happy with Aria.
Mum has excellent care at Aria Care Home from caring and respectful staff. Due to there being a very low turnover of staff, they know Mum well and are able to recognise any changes. Staff are easy to contact and responsive to requests. They also are prompt to contact me in the event of any issues or concerns. Visiting Mum at any time is welcomed and video calls are easily arranged when I am unable to visit in person. I am very happy with the care and attention Mum receives at Aria.
Placing my mother in the care of Aria Care home was the best decision I made. The staff are caring and patient, and nothing is too much trouble. There are plenty of activities throughout the week to keep the residents stimulated and active. A hairdresser visits weekly. The menu is put up on the wall, so families know what their loved ones are going to eat every day. The welcome my mother received on her arrival at the home was relaxed and friendly. A cup of tea with biscuits and cake was given to my mother on arrival in her lovely-sized and spotlessly clean room. Mum settled in so quickly and seamlessly. The staff answered all my questions and took their time to reassure me that Mum would be well looked after. I would wholeheartedly recommend this care home to anyone looking for the best care for their loved one.
Was a little apprehensive when my mum had to go into a care home but was amazed at how well she settled in. There are lots of activities and my mum has started to communicate more and is more mobile than she was in her own home. Staff have been amazing and it takes a lot of worry off the family knowing she is being cared for 24 hours a day.
My mother has been a resident since June 2022 and she has had her ups and down but she is almost 93 years young. Before entering the care home she had some health issues but the staff have cared for her with dignity. The room is spotless with all her comforting artefacts from the past all around her and well maintained. I bring flowers twice weekly and the staff make sure their fresh water is topped up daily. This care home was recommended to us and I will recommend this home to anyone who looking for a well-kept and respectful place to look after their loved ones.
From the outset, Aria Care Home has been amazing with my mum and she has settled in so well thanks to the time/patience and care she's received. Any/all questions I've asked have been answered and all mum's needs have been met including her very picky choice of food/drink has been catered for! I have complete confidence in Aria Care Home and can see a massive difference in Mum's appearance, health and wellbeing since she first arrived in January, I am happy I chose the right place for Mum to receive the best care.
My nan has been in Aria now for a couple of years and I could not ask for better. My nan always looks clean and tidy. The staff are always welcoming and my nan is always happy. Obviously, covid has been a struggle but they have done everything they can to keep residents happy, safe and loved ones informed. I have nothing but praise for Aria.
Aria Care Home are providing an excellent service for their residents. Throughout the covid period they were available 24/7, and kept me up to date with any issue's concerning my mother. The staff are always friendly and greet you with a smile.
Mum was reluctant to enter a care environment so admission was supported by social services. Aria Care Home was most supportive in these circumstances providing me with lots of information and support. Mum is now very happy and settled in the home and wants for nothing. She refers to it as a hotel as her room is lovely, staff brilliant and very friendly and the food is marvellous.
Mum has just transferred from the hospital to Aria Care Home. Only when you go through the process, do you realise how much has to be organised! The support from the management team has been excellent with regular daily updates, and the welcome received by Mum has been very good.
My mum has now lived at Aira for 17 months. The care she receives is second to none. The management of Airia is excellent, with senior managers constantly involved in all aspects of residents care. My Mum is treated with respect, warmth and affection. She is clean, her clothes are chosen for her with attention to detail and are colour matched, her hair is regularly done by the hairdresser, and her nails are manicured and immaculate. These things are noticed by family members. Any health issues she has are closely monitored and acted upon, and the family informed. We are so happy with this place.
My mother has been at Aria Care Home since August 2019. It was very upsetting for all Mum's family for her to have to go into a home. We have been very grateful to the home, Mum has been very well looked after, the food and staff are excellent. I go almost every day at different times and it's always welcoming and friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone.
My Father has been a resident at the Aria since May 2015. All members of staff have always treated him as part of a large family. They have always made sure his well being is foremost and informed me immediately if any problems have needed to be addressed. My dad is happy and content living at this home and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone else.
When the family viewed the five homes on the list we were given, this one was our choice. We did not need an appointment, welcome anytime, just respect mealtimes. The family call Aria Care a 'home from home'. The residents are loved and respected. The owner and care manager are always on hand if needed. So many activities, any excuse for a party. The residents are one big happy family. Everything is taken care of, new glasses and tests for everyone, Chiropody, Hairdresser, the ladies looking lovely, the gents hair cuts, dental checks. I cannot speak highly enough.
Going through a parent going into a home has to be one of the most roller-coaster emotions I've come to experience. But what helps is knowing and seeing the care and support the manager gives. There has been nothing she wouldn't do to answer any worries and questions, even when she's been backed up busy with other things. The carers are all so loving and patient. I visit most days, all different times and the residents are always happy when I walk through the door. There are always plenty of activities for them also.
I cannot say enough about the wonderful care at Aria Care. As a family, we feel so lucky that Mum was allocated a place here. All the staff show care and compassion and I feel that Mum is safe, cared about and everything is being done to make this awful situation as best it can be. Dementia is cruel but Aria treats each resident according to their individual need.
Dad was welcomed to Aria for emergency respite under unfortunate circumstances when Mum was taken ill Dec 17. I live in Canada with siblings living away also and it was a very stressful time for us all. Dad was in Aria within 24hrs where he was safe for us to focus on mum. We were supported by a wonderful Social Worker and Aria staff who helped us transition during an incredibly difficult and emotional time, their patience and understanding helped us navigate through and Dad is now a permanent resident. I have visited the UK twice since December and visited dad during those times and without exception, I have noticed wonderful care, compassion and also a sense of humour shown to all the residents. I receive updates in person and email, I have been taken aside by a staff member I didn't even know when she saw me upset and I have sat with the residents and enjoyed High Tea on fine china. Thank you, everyone, at Aria, it gives me comfort knowing you're looking after him for us.
