View Full Details of Quinton GardensMy wife has been a resident for 6 months now, she has settled in very well and this is thanks to all the staff at Quinton House. It is reassuring to know my wife is being cared for by a great team and receiving the care she needs.
Dad has been living at Quinton Gardens for nearly 10 months now, and it is such a relief - he is much happier and more settled than he was at home, and very well looked after. He joins in quite a few of the activities and is much more sociable than I thought he might be, which is lovely to see, as he was so lonely before, although he would never admit it. The staff are great at encouraging him and chatting with him while leaving him alone when that's what he wants; and they are always very friendly and helpful to me, even remembering what drink I like and bringing it without me asking! Thanks to everyone at Quinton for looking after Dad so brilliantly.
Quinton House was recommended, and it is clear to see why. My friend has been looked after extremely well. She looks so much better now she is getting the help and care she needs. The staff are wonderful and so friendly and have a great connection with my friend. My friend suffers from dementia issues and was very distressed prior to moving to Quinton House. Over a short period of time, the change in her was wonderful, and that is down to the care and kindness she has received. The organisation is first class, with many and varied activities and special events. I am very grateful to all the staff and managers for their kindness and care. I would have no hesitation in recommending Quinton House to anyone.
Mum has been at Quinton since August 2024 after having to move out of her previous care home , who were unable to manage her growing dementia needs and challenging behaviour. She is in Daisy unit. Quinton House have been amazing! From the two people who helped with Mum's move, to the staff caring for her on a day to day basis. Their sense of humour is fantastic in what can be very trying circumstances. All the staff are attentive to Mum's needs. Any medical concerns are very quickly acted on and noted with the GP who visits weekly. They work tirelessly to ensure the residents are settled. The ratio of resident to staff is very good and helps keep Mum feeling safe and secure. When we visit we can see that she has a very strong connection with all of the staff. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Quinton House.
Mum seems well looked after, she has been at Quinton Gardens since July 2023 and has started eating again after many months of not doing so, she really enjoys the food. The staff seem very caring, patient and kind and are always welcoming and friendly to visitors.
Quinton Gardens was the best choice I ever made for my godfather. With dementia, he needs care 24/7. The staff are all very caring, friendly and just good at their jobs. I cannot thank them enough for what they have done for my godfather. They call me when they need to do something or just to advise. His flu jab is ready. They keep me updated if I need to. I know he’s well looked after and even helped me celebrate his 90th birthday this year with a party. Thank you
For the nearly 3 years my mum has been a resident, Quinton Gardens has been the very best of places. The care support team are always friendly, hard-working, professional and importantly very caring and understanding in attending to my mother's many specific care and nursing that are needed 24/7.
We are so pleased with Mum's care at Quinton House. Mum always looks clean and well cared for. We have nothing but admiration and gratitude for everyone who looks after and cares for our mum. We shall be forever grateful.
Mum has been at Quinton Gardens for four years and has always been well cared for. The staff are lovely and are so kind to Mum. She is treated with respect and dignity at all times despite her advanced dementia. I am made to feel welcome whenever I visit and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The rooms are well kept and clean. Food and drink are always available for the residents.
Quinton continues to provide excellent care for my mother, who due to a vehicle collision, would very easily slip into decline without such exceptional care. The staff are always happy to discuss Mum and find the time to give me updates whenever we visit. They clearly display a fondness for all of the people in their care, and this transcends to all of the staff in the offices as well as the carers.
A well-run and maintained nursing home which is a pleasure to visit. The gardens are well maintained, and residents can sit outside when it is warm enough in very pleasant surroundings. The staff are very attentive.
Our mother moved to Quinton Gardens quite recently. We were all welcomed by everyone. We are delighted with the care shown to Mum, hair done, nails painted. All the things that have always been important to her.
We are delighted with the level of care that my mother receives. The staff are so very kind to her and patient and she seems settled and contented. We are always greeted in a friendly manner when we visit by the staff on duty. Also we are always kept informed if there is anything we should know.
I am extremely happy with all the staff at Quinton. They are very kind and patient with my husband. If there are any worries, I am contacted straight away/ The staff always ask my permission for flu jabs etc. When visiting, I am always greeted with a smile by staff and offered a cup of tea. They also know my name, which is always nice.
All staff are responsive to needs and act upon requests eg. hairdresser. my aunt entered the home with a foot injury and excellent care was undertaken to address this wound and successful recovery. A warm welcome by all staff, at all times. Helpful, supportive and respectful. It was a huge move for my aunt to go into care however she has settled in well. The room, whilst lovely could do with a paint, towels are a bit tired but these are minor items, given the care undertaken.
All brilliant! Would not want my mum anywhere else!
My wife has been a resident at Quinton Gardens for over two years. The care and dedication of the staff is, in my opinion, second to none. Whenever I visit, I am made welcome and given an update as to how she is doing. Although her Alzheimer's is now well advanced and she is no longer able to communicate verbally, my wife relates well to the carers and staff and surroundings and appears happy. I am so grateful.
The overall experience of the time my dad has been in Quinton, is excellent. We are so happy with the care and staff. Dad always looks clean and tidy and he's happy. I am never there at meal times, also when we used to be allowed in pre covid, we could enjoy seeing the activities. This is one thing I would love to be able to do, to go back to the lounge. However, I understand because of covid restrictions we cannot do that.
Mum is so much more settled here than at her previous home. All staff seem to show a genuine affection towards her, for which, we are eternally grateful. However, there are a couple of things that could be improved. Firstly, communication with regards to planned activities (it would be lovely to know what is available for her to participate in and whether or not she does, so it would give us a talking point with her when we visit.) Secondly, the visiting policy is not conducive to our family. Having to book a visit 24 hours in advance, when working full time and looking after a young family isn’t always helpful. In addition, being told that only two people can visit at a time, also doesn’t suit our family. We would love a more relaxed policy, please.
My husband is very well cared for by dedicated and friendly staff. He is helped to lead as normal a life as possible despite his advanced condition and is happy and contented. It is a great relief to me to know that he is looked after in a safe, homely atmosphere. Thank you to all the staff on his floor for your loving care.
