View Full Details of Oak Tree ManorMy mother resided in Oaktree Manor from late August 2021 to mid-September 2024. The staff of Oaktree were great in caring for my mum. They tended to her intimate care, washing and bathing regularly. They were attentive to her needs generally and escalated issues when required. The care and concern for my mother's wellbeing in her last days highlighted for the family just how much the staff cared personally for our mum. They do a challenging role and must be commended.
We, as a family, are very happy with the care provided at Oak Tree Manor. Staff are very helpful and treat residents with great patience and respect. The food seems very good and the rooms are kept very clean. Any medical concerns have been brought to our attention quickly and dealt with immediately. Our mother has settled well and is very happy at Oak Tree Manor.
I find the home to be clean and staff helpful. My friend seems to be well looked after, clean and tidy. Her room is always clean and so are her clothes. She seems to be well-fed. Many thanks.
Seems to be well run with good staff. My wife seems to be happy and content here.
Where do I even start with this place! This place (I wouldn't even call it a home) had my dad for respite and the care and quality that came with it was shocking my dad ended up in a hospital and made multiple verbal complaints but the issues were never resolved. Terrible service, zero people skills. The staff used to talk to us about how poor management really is and how they were leaving (after working a few months there) some staff were even talking to us about their private life (woman problems) disgusting! Oak Tree Manor does not provide safe compassionate effective care nor is it a well-led service. Wouldn't put a goldfish into it!
I'm very happy with the way my mother is treated and cared for by the staff. The staff are very professional and polite at all times and they treated her as their own. My only complaint is that the quality of food is very poor, and is generally the same food all the time. The quality of the food should be a lot better than it is. My mother is safe and secure and the staff go out of their way to make Mum's life good and happy.
Dad has been a resident of Oak Tree Manor for just over two years during which time we have had no time for concern. He has been exceptionally well looked after, always immaculately turned out (just as he was at home) and his room and all facilities are spotless. Communication between the home and ourselves is excellent, everyone is very approachable and always willing to help, we are informed of every aspect of his care needs when necessary. We have recommended Oak Tree Manor to others and would not hesitate to do so again. It is a pleasure to go into the home, it feels like extended family and we are always made feel welcome. Most importantly, Dad is well-settled and content, we couldn’t ask for anything more.
The staff and management at Oak Tree do amazing work. They looked after my mum in her final months, days and minutes of her illness with such dignity, care and compassion. They welcomed us so warmly as a family and each and every member of staff are to be commended for the work they do. The manager leads an excellent team of professional staff, we honestly could not fault Oak Tree or praise them enough. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Oak Tree to any family faced with placing their loved one into dementia care.
No contact with management, where are they?
I have always found the staff to be very friendly and also very helpful; they go above and beyond to help you. My step-father seems very happy with the staff.
My father is a resident at Oak Tree Manor nursing home for about the last six and a half months, and my father has settled in very well, with the help from all the staff and management. The staff are very helpful and polite, and the care that my dad receives is excellent. My father enjoys his meals and looks forward to the dog visits. His room is always clean and tidy. Oak Tree would communicate with me regarding any updates with Dad.
My father was in Oak Tree Manor for respite after leaving the hospital. The staff were excellent, and the home was extremely clean and cheerful throughout his stay. He was treated very well and able to get back to himself and fit for home. Thanks to everyone involved with him, even the catering staff took the time to chat with him, and he enjoyed their company and made his experience easier to deal with.
My experince of Oak Tree Manor has been extremely positive. I have found the staff friendly and hard working. The people I visit are well cared for by all staff.
Felt good from meeting the manager right through the whole experience. Husband happy and makes us as a family really contended.
My uncle loves this place, and the staff are fantastic. Keep up the good work.
My dad recently moved into Oak Tree Manor care home. I live far away from the home and don't get up to see him as much as I would like, but was speaking to a lovely lady about my dad - very professional in telling me how my dad was - deserves credit this lady, even the rest of the staff when I visited the care home were all fantastic with my daddy. Keep up the brilliant work.
My Mum was a resident and then a patient in this care home before her death in April 2022. I think that my Mum was relatively content in the home and I'm sure that she wasn't mistreated during her stay there. Still, I couldn't recommend Oaktree, mainly because there was a lot of room for improvement in communication and in responsiveness to complaints or questions. It was a constant struggle to obtain answers from staff about the day-to-day aspects of my Mum's care; in the end, I gave up asking. Complaints or requests to the home weren't always treated promptly or sympathetically.
Our mum has been a resident in Oak Tree from September 2021 until she sadly passed away on the 22nd of June 2022. During those months mum was looked after with such love and care from every member of staff, she was so happy and content and enjoyed the bingo and music in the day room and also she loved her food. The staff always kept myself and my brother involved and we were treated like family. We just want to thank everyone for the exceptional love my mum and us received, we have lovely memories to cherish
My mum is a resident in Oak Tree Manor and I could not praise the staff highly enough. They contact me regularly, they clearly care about my mum and nothing is ever too much. The manager has helped with finance questions I had and was very understanding about my circumstances. Mum would rather be at home but this is the next best thing and she is happy and safe. This makes it easier for all the family.
My aunt is a resident in the home, she is happy, content and very settled in the home. The staff are very dedicated to my aunt, and it is clear to see that she is well cared for. The new home manager is very helpful, and I would recommend this home to anyone.
