I've got to say the staff plus the management are very helpful.

A pleasing home and always very clean. It doesn't smell of old people. Nice and modern. The staff are very kind and jolly. Also professional and caring. Very supportive as are the office staff and managers. Always welcoming. Probably good but never around at meal times as these are rightly restricted.

My husband has good care and attention. We are always notified about his health. His clothes are always spotless as is his room.

From March 2024 - August 2024, my amazing dad became a resident at Anwen, he had dementia. I have to say the support and care that my dad received was amazing. Not only did they look after my dad, they helped and supported me when I visited him every day. The management and staff are amazing. Thank you for all you did for my dad and all the steps the staff put in. I will always remember what you did for him. Thank you.

The standard in Anwen Care Home is first-class. Since my husband has been in their care he has improved considerably. Any medical problems are dealt with immediately. He is stimulated by all the activities and the love and attention he is given by everyone. The staff in all areas work as one excellent team to provide the best care possible.

My husband came to Anwen Care Home in January 2024. From day one his pressure ulcer was a priority and the general nursing care has been extremely good. Carers have time for all residents treating each one as an individual with dignity and compassion. They acknowledge relatives with friendly smiles and help in any way they can. The well-being team are exceptional, encouraging all to participate in activities. Fantastic they have encouraged my husband to achieve in his stages of dementia. I am grateful for their support and comfort to me. Any issues we have, have been dealt with promptly, sympathetically and satisfactorily. The manager is extremely friendly and always ready to discuss anything relating to my husband's care. I would like to express my appreciation to all employees of Anwen Care Home including those not always seen for providing excellent care.

The staff are very helpful and caring, always pleasant, they all work so hard. Very well maintained care home. Lovely gardens for the residents to sit outside. Regular activities go on in the care home, lovely hairdressing salon in the care home as well. Residents are clean and tidy there as well.

My mum has been in Anwen Care Home since February 2021 and I cannot fault the care she has received in this time. A big shout out to the social team girls, the friendliest and happiest girls. Anwen you should be proud of them. Continue your enthusiasm and great care of my lovely Mum.

We and the resident have found Anwen Care Home a very friendly and welcoming place. The staff and management are only too pleased to listen and accommodate the residents' needs, medically and comfortably in their residence here. People are nice to the person in question, she answers when we ask. We do not know too many details of the activities or facilities, how frequent the activities are or what other facilities there might be.

Great warm and friendly home. So much care and warmth shown by all staff members whether carers or cleaners! Lots of activities to suit all residents. All staff are approachable if you have any queries at any time. I have no concerns about my mother's care and highly recommend Anwen, like a home from home and like a big warm hug.

Anwen has become a much more friendly, professional, and well-run care home. It has a lovely atmosphere and the staff are extremely caring of the residents. The home is always spotlessly clean. There is often music playing in the lounge and dining areas and the residents, who are able, are encouraged to join in activities such as singing, crafts, and gardening. I am always treated with courtesy when I visit and feel confident knowing that my husband is in the care of such an excellent team.

Very nice care home, in a lovely setting at the foot of the mountain. The staff are friendly and helpful. So are the management. The garden has been landscaped lovely, but the bedrooms inside could do with a facelift, they've been the same for the last 4 years. Nurses are very caring, and I was informed straight away if anything was wrong with my husband, cleaners were very friendly while doing their job. Food was lovely squash not so good.

Great warm and friendly home. So much care and warmth shown by all staff members whether carers or cleaners! Lots of activities to suit all residents.
