View Full Details of Sydney Brown CourtI have been touched by the care and dignity you showed Grandma while she lived at Sydney Brown Court. Grandma spoke highly of the staff who looked after her and gave her love and respect. Thank you for being an extended family to our beloved Grandma.
For nearly the last year, the staff at Sydney Brown Court provided a calm, comfortable and dignified home for my elderly grandmother. Warm, friendly and considerate, the staff took to my grandmother immediately, supporting her in her needs and being patient with her in her quirks. Moving out of the house in which she had lived for decades was a momentous change but our entire family were delighted by how well she settled in and felt at home (complete with her own furniture). In her final weeks, the staff showed particular composure and earnestness, which was consoling during such a time of upheaval. A fine institution and credit to Hadleigh. Thank you all!
As a family, we have all been very impressed with the high level of kindness, care and respect shown by all the staff at Sydney Brown Court. We can honestly say that nothing is too much trouble. Our mother has thrived since living here and is now happy and safe. It has also given her dignity, which the alternative of living alone at home or in a residential care home could not provide. She is settled and content in her warm flat with her own familiar bits and pieces and also enjoys the garden. It's a great relief to not feel worried and know that we made the right decision to give Mum a very good quality of life.
My parents moved here a few years ago, and the care has been magnificent. The staff are always positive, friendly and professional, and it's very comforting to my sister and me since my father died that Mum is in such good hands.
My mother suffers with severe dementia and related health problems, making her ongoing care difficult and complicated. The caring staff at all levels at Sydney Brown Court, have always cared for my mother extremely well, in a respectful and friendly way and have gone out of their way to be friendly and informative with me and my wife. Thank you for all your support.
My father has been in Sydney Brown Court for 18 months -12 of then during lockdown. He has been well looked after, and all of the staff have been very attentive to his needs at all times, night and day. He has had lots of falls, and someone has always sat with him until medics arrived. They are always happy, despite being overworked and underpaid! They love my dad and are always there for him, which is great for the family.
I am very impressed by the beautiful way your carers are towards me. All of them are very kind and considerate.
Outstanding facility with great attention to making residents feel comfortable, involved and cared for in their new home. Congratulations to those responsible for managing all that is provided to maintain interest and activities, the understanding and commitment of the carers and to the many extras that can be seen and are offered as activities and points of interest.
My wife and I moved into this first floor flat two months ago. It took a while to settle in as my wife has Parkinson's and is fairly immobile but the staff are very friendly and efficient especially in dispensing her drugs every three hours and getting her dressed and washed each morning. They also take her out for an hour shopping and coffee each Saturday. The general atmosphere is friendly and the decor cheerful. The social activities organised by the carers do encourage residents to mix and converse. Unfortunately, the local authority landlords responsible for maintenance of the flat don't always reply to letters. Our kitchen is not very well fitted out for old people with our disabilities. There is not adequate storage space for such things as clothes, cleaning utensils and books.
Sydney Brown Court is a very welcoming and homely place in which to reside. Management and staff are wonderful with the residents and show a great deal of care and respect to everyone, residents and visitors alike. The common areas are maintained to a high standard and a lot of thought is put into providing memorabilia for residents' enjoyment.
