View Full Details of Wyndham Hall Care HomeSince my sister went to live at Wyndham Hall just before Christmas of last year we have been impressed by the atmosphere of calm and kindness which the warm and professional staff demonstrate towards the residents and to visitors. The attentive nursing care treasures us that her medical needs are met too. The many friends and family who visit regularly comment on how fortunate she is to have a home there and are grateful for the efforts staff make to accommodate their plans to make visits special and memorable. We are comforted to know that she is in such capable and loving hands.
Could not have wished for a better place for Dad to spend his final days. The staff are all so hard-working, attentive, and compassionate. Dad was made comfortable and we were kept in the loop at all times and made to feel very comfortable too. The home is well-serviced with various lounges and each room is clean, spacious, and bright. Thank you so so much for what was such a difficult time. We will forever be thankful.
For 25 days the whole team at Wyndham Hall provided exemplary care for my sister-in-law in her final days of end-of-life care. From our initial contact about the possibility of using Wyndham Hall, to our final day of clearing out the room, we were met with welcoming smiles, offers of help and guidance, hospitality, professionalism, and compassion. The nursing and physical care were excellent, regular turning, skincare, and time to hold a hand were never lacking. Nutrition was difficult as my sister-in-law had little appetite and didn't even know herself what she fancied. However, the staff were diligent and persistent in doing their best to comply with her wishes and encouraged eating and drinking at every opportunity. A child-gate was used on the room doorway to allow the door to be open, but prevent wandering mobile residents from entering. Nobody wants to use facilities such as Wyndham Hall from choice, but when the need arose we considered ourselves fortunate indeed to have them nearby.
Choosing a place for your parent to spend the last days of their life is a tremendous task. From the moment I stepped foot within Wyndham Hall Care Home I just knew this was the place. No task is ever too much for the incredible staff. Not only did they see to whatever Dad needed but would ensure the family were cared for when around. Beautiful facilities, home from home. A thousand times thank you to you, wonderful people! I know Dad was well cared for in your capable hands.
Can't thank the staff for the love and care they gave both the patients and their families. At a time when we spent long hours with the patients, food and drinks were always offered. Patients are cared for and treated with dignity. All I can say is thank you from the bottom of my heart for your care.
There are no words to express the gratitude I have for all the staff at Wyndham Hall. My dad came to the care home reluctant to leave his own home but in need of palliative care. From the day he arrived all the staff were there to welcome him and our family and ensure that he was as comfortable as could be. Nothing was ever too much trouble for anybody, the compassionate, caring nature of all the staff, the willingness to engage with him and embrace his personality soon made it home for him and the family. The facilities were always immaculate, clean, bright and airy. I would highly recommend Wyndham Hall to anybody in need of care. Thank you to all the staff for everything you did.
Although not local, I visited Mum numerous times during her year of residence before her death. I witnessed nothing but excellent love for her on each occasion. Staff were always patient, kind and attentive even under difficult pressure.
My father had the pleasure of staying here for his remaining weeks of his life. He was so wonderfully looked after. The staff are so very kind, loving and professional. If I had to finish my days in a care home, this place is my first choice.
My mum has been at Wyndham Hall for around two years now and can honestly say that she is better now than she was when she arrived. this can only be due to good food and good care. The staff are lovely and keep me well informed of any issues that may arise.
I have no complaints about the care and service my wife had in the care home. I did feel the carpets needed more regular cleaning.
I come in to see my auntie quite often, when I see her she is either interacting with other residents or playing games with the activities coordinators. I always see her interacting in activities which is lovely to see as she was very anti-social before coming here and it's amazing to see her greeting the staff because before she wouldn't speak at all - other than to her family.
Wyndham Hall provided excellent care for my Mum over a 14-month period. They always kept us in touch with her well-being and warmly welcomed us when we visited. The care for Mum was first class and the staff were extremely dedicated. Thank you.
I was extremely impressed with the compassionate, friendly and caring disposition of all the staff I met during my visits. Despite the frail condition of my grandmother, I feel comforted knowing that she is in such good hands.
My husband was on End of life care. Every member of staff gave us an excellent service. His care was excellent. The support and kindness given to other family members was truly appreciated. True heroes and thank you.
My father-in-law has been cared for extremely well over the past sixteen months. All the staff have been very attentive and caring, keeping him comfortable and well-fed. He often comments on how nice the staff are and never has any complaints about the excellent care he receives.
They are so caring and considerate and nothing is too much bother. Always available if I need to talk or ask for advice. It is a huge relief to know Mum now has 24-hour nursing care as I was struggling at home. Even the manager always has her door open and will greet you when entering the reception. Everyone is so friendly, Even my toddler grandson is made to feel welcome with lots of friendly greetings.
We are very pleased with the service and care given to our relative. The ratio of staff to residents is more than we had expected. All the staff are friendly, caring and professional. They all appear to really care for the residents and nothing seems to be too much trouble. Only one minor criticism would be that we would like residents to wear an emergency call lanyard so they are always able to summon help. Having said that they are seldom if ever left alone. We have only experienced one other care home where there was one carer on duty for many residents who were often left completely alone. This never happens at Wyndham Hall and we would have no hesitation in recommending the home to care for your relatives. We have not answered whether the home is value for money as we have not compared prices. We chose the home for its friendly atmosphere, comfort, care and professionalism. The bedrooms and public areas are all of a good standard and well furnished.
Staff are kind, caring and hard-working - especially evident in these times when they are often so busy. The manager is organised and compassionate. All the staff seem to be willing to help out where they are needed and we are welcomed each time we visit. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Cooked dinner at lunchtime seems very varied and good quality. A caring environment.
Great care home. The new manager is honest, hard-working and really cares. There are really loyal and caring staff and these are challenging times with care staff shortages. The laundry lady, kitchen staff are lovely and know the residents personally. Everyone does their best.
My mum has been in Wyndham Hall for two months now. From the very beginning, she felt cared for and safe. Her room is spacious and clean, the staff are communicative and caring. I would recommend Wyndham Hall to anyone needing respite or a permanent move into a care home.
