Saint Jude's Care Home provided exceptional care during my grandmother's stay of several months. She thrived in the environment and received outstanding attention. The staff were exemplary, consistently exceeding expectations. The rooms were attractive, bright, and impeccably clean. Furthermore, the food was delicious and offered a wide selection.

Mum has been a resident at St Jude since April 2024. I visit on a regular basis and have found management and staff to be kind, caring and understanding of Mum's needs. Mum is well looked after, always clean and comfortable. She eats well, the menus being varied and healthy. The staff respond quickly to any physical changes and ensure Mum has prompt nursing attention, making sure we are kept informed. As a family, we are reassured that all mum's needs are met and we thank management and staff for their care and attention.

Staff are very friendly and helpful and treat everyone with dignity and respect. The home is always very clean. It's in a very good location near shops and eating places. The beach is just up the road.

My Mum is a resident of St Judes and has been for nearly three years. The staff here are always friendly and welcoming. They care for Mum so well, nothing is too much trouble and give time to each resident to understand their individual requirements. Knowing Mum is cared for so well gives me peace of mind and allows me to spend quality time with her when I visit. I couldn’t wish for Mum to live in a better place. Seeing her happy, settled and safe is a credit to the wonderful staff who work there.

A difficult and complex process was made to feel as simple as possible in terms of admission into the home, for which we were really grateful to the team. The home was very welcoming and gave us great peace of mind.

My mum has spent two bouts of respite care at Saint Jude and I cannot praise them enough for the care and service they provided. Even before Mum was taken in, the help and support given was excellent. Mum was treated with the upmost respect and dignity whilst at Saint Jude and found it a great and caring place to recuperate. If Mum needed to go into care permanently then I would be on the phone to the director and her team in a heartbeat and would have no hesitation in recommending to anybody looking for first class care! A massive thank you to all the team that make Saint Jude the excellent care home that it is.

I’m extremely grateful to the staff at Saint Jude for allowing my dad to go back there (from hospital) for his end of life care. Everyone was very kind and caring towards both him and me and that enabled him to have a very peaceful death.

I can't thank the owner and the team at St Jude's enough for the care and support that they provided to my mother during her stay to recuperate after a lengthy spell in hospital had left her very frail. Thanks to their hard work and dedication, she was able to regain her strength and return home to live independently again. When I visited St Jude's, the owner took the time to show me around and we spoke at length about Mum's situation and particular care needs. There was an attention to detail that was glaringly absent at some of the other homes I visited in the area and she was very helpful, providing advice and support to me when I was making arrangements with the hospital. During her stay, Mum was always treated with dignity and respect and I was struck by the friendly atmosphere of the home that felt like a big family. Mum would be happy to stay there again, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend St Jude's to anyone else looking for a care home.

A huge thank you to all the wonderful staff at Saint Jude Care Home who made my mum's respite stay a wonderful experience for her. The time, patience, love and care given to my mum was incredible and resulted in my mum coming on in bounds, displaying happiness and with communication and compliance returning. I would not hesitate to recommend Saint Jude Care Home.

Mum has just left St Jude's after a four-month recuperation stay. She had a wonderful time and was treated with what I can only call the very best care. The management and the staff are helpful, kind and extremely professional. All of Mum's care needs were taken care of in the most efficient way. I can't recommend St Jude's highly enough; we were so happy she stayed here. My sister and I would like to thank the director and the staff for all they have done.

After being at St Jude's for nearly a year, my father passed away in November, aged 99 years. I will always be grateful for the excellent care and friendships given by all the staff and management; they are like one big family. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend St Jude's Care Home to anyone.

My mother recently passed away after spending around 18 months at St Jude. She was looked after extremely well while there; the team were really kind and attentive to my mother's needs, which were considered due to her advanced age. I would certainly recommend it to others.

I personally cannot recommend St Jude Care Home enough. My mum is a resident of this home, and her care is, as far as I am concerned, an excellent standard. She is thriving and is very settled. I have visited on many occasions, and St Jude cannot be faulted. It is clean; the staff are lovely, welcoming, caring and very attentive. Fantastic staff who really go above and beyond.

My mum came to stay at St Jude's in October 2021 from another care home, and I am very happy she did. She was welcomed from the first moment. She is now settled and serene. She is well cared for and looked after and has a lovely social life. She has made great progress. The management and staff at St Jude are excellent and very responsive. They have made the move easier for all of us.

A first-class service provided to my auntie, who is nearly 101. The staff are very loving and caring, and my auntie is never left on her own and she loves being in the community areas and there is always at least one member of staff permanently with them. They constantly send me pictures and videos of her and let me speak to her via a video link. I live 250 miles away. They have activities which my auntie loves joining in, and they had a lovely Jubilee weekend. I am really happy with my auntie being there.

My 96-year-old aunt has been a resident at St Jude's for nearly four years. From day one, she was made to feel welcome and part of the 'family' and is extremely happy there. I know that she receives the level of care that we would expect, this gives us considerable peace of mind. The home is kept to an extremely high standard of cleanliness. The staff, at all levels, are very friendly, approachable and helpful. The residents are kept entertained by various activities such as bingo, film afternoons etc, and there are regular parties to which relatives are invited. I can only thank everybody at St Jude's for the care they have given to my aunty while she has been a resident there.

My 96-year-old mum has been a resident of St Jude care home from May 2020, being taken there from hospital after being poorly with pneumonia in hospital for two weeks. This broke my heart and felt guilty, but the team reassured me. All staff and management are reassuring, patient, caring and kind to my mum and us. Mum enjoys all the activities provided ie, crafts, cards and bingo. Mum is happy and settled. Knowing that she is safe and being well cared for after being independent up to two years ago. Just recently we were invited to two garden parties with entertainment where all residents, staff and families enjoyed the occasion. The family are happy with the care Mum is receiving at St Jude.

My beautiful mum has been a resident of St Jude's for nearly three years. I can only speak highly of St Jude's of the care my mum receives; she has made some lovely friends and is very happy there. The staff are wonderful and caring, and nothing is too much trouble. The residents are treated with respect and dignity. I would have no hesitation in recommending St Jude Care Home. My heartfelt thanks goes out to the manager and all her staff.

Mum spent the last 4-years of her life in St Jude’s care home. She was always looked after well by caring and compassionate staff. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Whenever I visited, it was noticeable how very clean the home was kept in all areas. Mum's room also, was kept clean and always had fresh bedding. The staff were always friendly and welcoming to me, and Mum's other visitors were all of the same opinions. As I don’t live in Liverpool, I would ring Mum 2-3 times a week, whoever answered the phone was always happy to chat to me, telling me how Mum had been and what she’d been doing that day. Also, they very often made it possible for me to FaceTime Mum, which was especially useful during lockdown. Towards the end of her life, Mum spent more time in her room, but she was still looked after well and in a caring and dignified way. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend St Jude’s to anyone looking for a care home for their loved ones.

My mother has been a resident of St Jude for 18-months. Throughout this time, the care, kindness and patience shown to her have been outstanding. She is extremely happy, and the affection to residents by staff shines through. We simply couldn't ask for more. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending St Jude; it is outstanding.
