The care received by my father and our family was outstanding. He was only in the home for 15 days before he died but he was treated as a person the whole time. He was shown respect, compassion and great care. I cannot thank the staff enough for the consideration shown to all of us during the time of his stay and ultimate death. The care the staff gave was first-rate from beginning to end. Thank you.

The staff cared for my mum extremely well. They made great efforts to understand her fully and tailor their treatment of her to her needs. The end-of-life care was second to none. They were highly supportive of us as a family.

We did consider other homes but chose Abbotswood Court Care Home due to the facilities. My mother-in-law was here for two years and we have been very impressed by the care, the facilities but most of all the staff and their caring, professional attitude. I would not hesitate to recommend Abbotswood Court to anyone considering a care home.

My mother was in Abbotswood Court Care Home for two years. The care and support she received from the staff was outstanding. All members of the team are professional, caring and compassionate. The environment at Abbotswood felt like one big happy family. The end-of-life care that my mum received from all the staff was amazing and I will be forever grateful to them.

My father stayed in Abbotswood Court Care Home for the last 18 months of his life and I cannot thank them enough. Their care, compassion and professionalism have been outstanding. At every turn, we have been met with a smile and with kindness and understanding. They do so much to enable our relatives to live well despite their limitations. I am so thankful I found them.

From the first day Dad entered Abbotswood Court Care Home I felt he was in good hands. I cannot thank every member of staff enough for their endless patience and kindness in looking after Dad in the following months. It was also a huge relief for me to be able to phone anytime to check how Dad was. Thank you Abbotswood for everything.

Abbotswood was our first port of call when seeking short-term care for my mother. From the outset, the staff were very friendly and accommodating and communications were excellent. The home itself is exceptionally well presented with wonderful facilities. Thank you for providing us with such great respite care.

Abbotswood Court has been a wonderful place for my father for the last three years. They have certainly looked after him well, and treated him with the dignity he deserved. Management continually updating his needs as his dementia got worse. In his last few days the staff were incredibly caring and thoughtful to his and our needs. Thank you.

My father had suffered with Alzheimer's for some years and was a resident at Abbotswood Care Home for the last 2 1/2 years of his life. He was always treated with respect, was safe and comfortable in the friendly environment. The staff went out of their way to look after him in his failing physical health and worked extra hard when medical help was not always forthcoming from the local GP practice. When he passed away I would say everyone around him could not have been kinder.

My father was a resident for eighteen months at Abbotswood Court. He was happy and attentively looked after during that time. The staff were kind, friendly and efficient. This home is very well managed. As a family we were always warmly welcomed and sensitively supported.

The staff and care given at Abbotswood was exceptional. Highly empathetic, professional and attentive at what can be a very difficult time for families. The Abbotswood team made a big difference to us all. Especially one staff member who was an absolute superstar and much respected by my grandpa and family during this time there.

My father was a resident in Abbotswood Court Care Home from August 2022 until April 2024. Throughout his time there he was cared for with kindness and compassion. Most importantly he enjoyed living there and developed a strong bond with the members of staff who cared for him! Cannot recommend Abbotswood Court Care Home highly enough. The team are brilliant.

Abbotswood Court have been exceptionally caring toward my mother since her first arrival four weeks ago. They have excelled in managing her volatile mood swings, and distress at a difficult time for my mother, by consistently exploring highly-professional and empathetic treatment, from across the entire staff and management team. She's in very good hands.
