View Full Details of Hallmark Chamberlain CourtMum would say that she is more attentively cared for, she enjoys the food and some of the activities particularly the classical music singer. It is clear she has made acquaintances with other residents that she appreciates and enjoys chatting with the carers she has got to know best. For us, as her relatives, we see her being active rather than being in bed or alone in her room in her previous residence. Care is on-hand and responsive and is delivered with a knowledge of that which Mum prefers. Thanks for delivering on the promised care. We enjoy visiting more than we did her previous residence where at Chamberlain Court there is a welcoming and positive atmosphere.
Hallmark Chamberlain Court satisfies all our needs at the moment. Visitors are made very welcome but sometimes difficult to find parking. Some of the rooms are very small but accommodation immediately found for an overflow of visitors.
From the time mum moved in she has been treated with great kindness and care. Every member of staff is so respectful and friendly so mum feels safe and happy. The quality of care is first rate and mum enjoys the activities and is very complementary about the meals and refreshments. She looks forward to the summer and being able to enjoy the lovely outside space . She has settled in very quickly and is happier, as are we, knowing she is so well looked after .
From the reception area to all the first floor area, we find the staff charming and helpful and also feel totally welcome when visiting. We feel confident that she is getting all the care she could need. Thank you to all who do a difficult job.
My involvement with the care home has been from a professional standpoint. I can say that they have been immensely helpful in settling my client and making her feel at home. My client commented to me that 'you made the right choice' even though it was a decision we made together so I am pleased that she is happy and becoming a part of the caring family atmosphere at Chamberlain Court.
My brother with diabetes and heart failure has been really happy at Chamberlain Court. The staff have been amazingly kind and thoughtful carrying brilliantly with his increasing frailty and progressing dementia. His time there has been better than we could have hoped for My sister-in-law has tragically severe Frontotemporal disease and is incapable of self-care, speech or recognition. Despite this, the staff have looked after her with skill and compassion. Even to the extent of organising choral singers for her birthday, knowing her past involvement in choral singing at a high level.
Amazing & wonderful place. Very, very happy to see my loved one blossoming after coming out of hospital. An uplifting environment from the minute you walk through the door. Also grateful for the support the staff gave us as a family during an incredibly difficult time.
The help and support of the team were amazing as my mum struggled to adjust to this major change in her life. I cannot thank the team for their patience and commitment to supporting her and me. My mum is now settled and happier than she has been for a long time.
My father went to Chamberlain Court in December 2023. He was made to feel very welcome as were my sister and I. He has enjoyed all the activities and the staff have been wonderful. Fortunately, he has been able to enjoy the area and has been on a number of long walks.
All the staff are friendly, caring and helpful. We are delighted by the care being given to our family member. From the moment our family member arrived, the team has been dedicated to ensuring that both her wishes are listened to and understood and that the relevant care needs are put in place and monitored to ensure that she is able to settle in fully. It is a pleasure to visit and everyone goes above and beyond to make sure it is an enjoyable time.
From day 1, they have treated Dad like a VIP. All of the staff (no matter which department they are in) make sure Dad's needs are being met with exceptional care and dignity. As his daughter, all I can say is we have made the right choice for dementia care on his behalf and along with staff at Chamberlain Court, we can make sure he has the best life and enjoy every moment.
Exceptional. Every effort is made to put my parents at ease. As a visitor I am welcomed as though I was stepping into my parent's own home. Nothing is too much trouble. The home is so clean and fresh! It’s the best I have ever visited and I am a nurse so I observe in a medical way. Food is high-quality. No rigid rules.
My father has been at Chamberlain Court for a few months. His care needs have increased and he has now moved from nursing care to dementia care. As a family we have been delighted with the way he has been looked after. The understanding and compassion of all the staff, from the carers through to the management has been first-class.
Living overseas and moving my 96 year old father into a care home for the first time was not without its challenges. Chamberlain Court listened carefully to our concerns and questions and addressed each one 100% satisfactory. Dad has been a resident for 4 months now and we could not be happier with the kindness, service and attention to detail Hallmark Chamberlain Court has provided both to Dad, as a resident, and to our family. Hugs and a big thank you to all the staff at Chamberlain Court.
Mum has settled in very well to Chamberlain Court, enjoying all the entertainment on offer - and I am happy and relieved that she is being very well cared for by the nursing team and carers. She is enjoying the food too!
Fantastic, very efficient and friendly staff, made my father very welcome. Everyone has been very kind and helpful, I would not hesitate to recommend Chamberlain Court to anyone thinking of a place for a loved one.
First my father got a place in Chamberlain Court followed a few weeks later by my mother. I was very impressed and delighted that both my parents were able to be in the same home, the staff worked miracles to get them both a place. Their rooms are delightful and the staff seem to always have time for them. They both look well cared for with lovely haircuts and well groomed and fed. They are very happy to be in Chamberlain and I am happy they are there.
Chamberlain Court have been very kind to my father. They were all expecting his arrival and settled him in with care. His care is very personalised with much thought about the individual patient. The staff on his floor got to know him very quickly and are great at having jokes with him. We have had challenges with his behaviour which they have managed without stress or difficulty. The doctor who covers the care home and the resident nurses have also been extremely helpful. I often bump into the managers who are extremely friendly and keen to make sure everything is going well. The reception staff are also very friendly.
The customer relations manager and her colleagues have been very helpful at the stage of moving to the home. I am pleased with the way the resident is being looked after and a good range of entertainment.
Dad has been a resident at Chamberlain Court for a year now and we couldn't be happier with the care he receives there. The staff are so kind, and friendly, always going out of their way to help. Dad thankfully hasn't lost his sense of humour, even with his dementia progressing, and we love that the staff are always having a laugh with him whenever we come to pick him up to take him out for lunch! There are plenty of activities throughout the day to keep residents busy, the home always has a lovely convivial atmosphere. Overall we feel like he's in a big hug of a home and, as hard as it always is saying goodbye to him when we leave, we're just so relieved to know he's in such great hands. Thank you to all at Chamberlain, we're forever grateful.
