View Full Details of Bradley ManorMy mum was transferred to Bradley Manor after surviving Covid-19 and I must say that even though we haven't been able to visit that the communication from the nursing staff and manager have been both compassionate and comforting. It is obvious that this home is well run with strong leadership. It is a purpose-built facility to help and support people who may be frightened or confused. But after talking to my mum she appeared very happy with her care. Thank you Bradley Manor for helping my family through this terrible crisis. The manager went out of her way to help reassure us.
My mum's cousin from Australia visited my mum on a Sunday in April 2017. She had seen BM online but was very pleased to see it for real. We both saw that BM was spotless and that my mum was happy and well cared for. There was entertainment on that afternoon and all residents were having a great time and there were plenty of staff about.
Family are happy with Bradley Manor. Room for improvement with regards to cleanliness. Family take home laundry, clean clothes put into the laundry unnecessarily - keeps happening even after countless requests for this not to happen. Bed linen could be changed more often.
My Mum went into Bradley Manor as an emergency admission just after the home opened. We knew nothing about Bradley Manor at that stage, but it has turned out to be brilliant and she is now a permanent resident. The staff are all very kind and patient and the facilities are excellent. There is always lots going on and Mum is as happy as she is able to be. Though her mood can be volatile with the dementia, the staff are great at noticing the non-verbal early warning signs before a meltdown and intervening to distract her.
My grandfather stayed at Bradley Manor for 6 months and the whole family was delighted with the care that he received. I have never met more caring and kind people than the staff in Bradley manor. They were so professional and attentive to my grandfather and also went out of their way to make life easier for my granny during her visits to see him. My grandfather's room was clean and homely and allowed the family to visit him in comfortable surroundings with some privacy. Thank you so much for everything that you did for my grandfather, it has meant so much to us all.
My mother arrived at Bradley manor on the 11/12/2015 in a very confused state due to dementia and since the moment she arrived she has being looked after to a very high standard from the staff to the cleaners and every one in Bradley Manor our family have never had any reason to complain as the standard of care is excellent.
This care home is absolutely amazing, the work the staff do with the people in it is amazing. Their attitude to there residents is out of this world, this place is spotless clean, well maintained and looked after. The care they have given to my father is no1 care. I would recommend this home to anyone that I new that was looking a great place. This is definitely the place to be. It has a great security system and the activities that are done to keep residents occupied are amazing.
My mother has been at Bradley Manor since November and over this period the staff have went over and beyond to give the best care possible during a difficult time. Not only have they been supportive for my mother but they also provided support for me. I had looked at other homes but this was second to none. It is definitely somewhere that I would recommend.
My mother has chronic kidney disease and is 84 years old. She does not want dialysis and is content with this decision. After a brief hospital stay in January she spent 3 weeks at Bradley Manor. It was during this time that we realised that she would be needing full time care moving forward. She returned to her home for a week then entered Bradley Manor's Nursing and Dementia section as she has early onset dementia as well. During the whole process of application and admission the staff assisted in every way possible, making what could have been a traumatic experience, the most pleasant and smooth. My mother is a happy, outgoing independent woman and the staff cater to her personality perfectly. They are warm, considerate and caring. We spend a lot of time visiting as we live in Canada and have to return home for a while. We see how other residents are treated with the same individual care and will leave with mixed feelings but confident that my mother is in the best place possible. XX
The care my father receives here is great as he is bed bound the staff are friendly and very welcoming to me my family and especially my mother who visits my father every day. The home is beautiful and spotless, a canteen to make tea and sit with family, excellent.
