View Full Details of Mulberry Court Care HomeSo far so good, no staff issues
The staff are nice and friendly. The place is clean and warm. Food is to a high standard. I can visit any time. It's nice that there is a small quiet lounge where my mum can visit and watch television if she wants to.
Friendly staff. Visiting old workmate, seems well looked after.
My mother has Alzheimers and is in long term care at Mulberry Court. All the staff are so caring and my mum considers them all to be her friends. Nothing is too much trouble, and the staff are respectful to everyone, including family visits. The home has a cheerful atmosphere. I would have no hesitation in recommending this care home.
Visiting my brother as always has been satisfactory to good and the staff very pleasant.
Always friendly staff, very helpful plenty of activities on offer if my sister wants to get involved. I understand my sister's illness so I also understand how difficult it must be to keep her nails and hair clean and tidy. I have noticed that she has a good appetite and it is maintained through the lovely food on offer at the home.
This is one of the finest care homes I have come across. My aunt has been in a few but she had not seemed content as she has at Mulberry Court. The staff are wonderful carers and are always interacting with the residents. I have seen residents and staff socialising in and out of the care home and the community. Always fun activities at Mulberry Court.
Dad has been at Mulberry Court since 2022. The staff are very friendly and caring. There have been some issues regarding his care but they have always been addressed when brought to the attention of management. Dad is happy and settled overall. Recently the rooms have been decorated and updated which has improved the facilities. Overall, Dad is settled and we are happy with his care.
The staff are very caring and helpful. The food is excellent. I enjoy sitting in the courtyard.
Dad is well looked after, always looks clean and tidy. Every effort is made to keep him healthy and happy. The entertainment is outstanding. All the staff are welcoming, friendly, any problems are addressed quickly and efficiently.
My mother was a resident at Mulberry Court Care Home and she was treated with respect and dignity throughout her stay. The management team always kept me and my family up to date relating to our mother. There is a lot of laughter in the home and they keep the residents stimulated with lots of activities. I have no hesitation in recommending this wonderful caring home to any future residents.
My experience of Mulberry Court has been a really good one. My friend is so well looked after (much better than her previous care home). She is now happy and content and she is flourishing because of the excellent care she now gets. I can't praise or thank the staff enough.
Dad and Mum were both residents, sadly Dad passed in 2019 and Mum a few weeks ago. Mum's care was phenomenal, they even sent a carer to be with mum in the last three days she was in the hospital. I can't thank everyone involved with Mulberry Court. It was more a family than a care home. Thank you all from the bottom of my and my family's hearts.
This a terrible care home, that takes your money and provides little to no care. We found out today my granddad had been sneaking alcohol and the carer hadn't noticed and is interfering with his medication he's is meant to be taking, no idea if they actually are giving his medication. We also found this out from the kitchen staff and not the carers, they didn't even acknowledge this was happening. This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen with the complete lack of care happening. Please find somewhere else to send your loved ones, this place is terrible. 1-1 care does not exist, all the carers are on their phones and barely interact with any of the people in the home. There are no activities happening, it's a horribly run care home.
My friend who has dementia, was moved to Mulberry Court in the summer from another care home where she was very unhappy and she was deemed to need more care. Since she arrived I have seen many more glimpses of her old self re-appear. Rather than being very insular, she will interact with the staff and even make some jokes. As with all dementia patients, every day is different but it is wonderful to see that a number of the staff know exactly how to bring a smile to her face. I am sure it is greatly helped by the ability for her to have a great entertainment team to brighten her life. She has always been small but she is putting on weight and has a number of regular experiences that she enjoys, which is such a joy to see.
My mum has been at Mulberry Court for nearly five years, and she's been cared for by very caring and compassionate people. When she's been going into different stages of dementia, her care has been adapted very quickly. I couldn't wish for better.
My mum has been at Mulberry Court for four months since breaking her hip and not being able to live at home anymore. She has advanced dementia and challenging behaviour. The staff are kind and caring and cope well with what must be a very difficult job. I visit several times a week and carers can always give me information about how my mum is doing. They take pride in their work and take delight in even a small amount of progress. The food is lovely and nutritious and kitchen staff are friendly and helpful. If there has ever been a problem the manager is on to it straight away, takes it seriously, and comes up with a solution. I would recommend Mulberry Court to anyone who is looking after someone with dementia.
Mulberry Court may not be the most swanky of care homes but it is certainly caring, clean and comfortable. the residents are treated with respect by care staff and management. The entertainment team are always looking for ways to keep the residents entertained. This includes music events, quizzes and gardening. I can find nothing negative to say.
The care is fab.
Good all-round performance, sometimes in difficult circumstances. Patient treated well, difficult patients ie noisy, always wanting attention upsets the silent ones. Noisy complainers always get more attention than this deserves. All staff including agency, give their best at all times.
