View Full Details of Belmont House Nursing HomeExemplary care given to my friend over a period of two and a half years. Special thanks for the 'end-of-life' care Belmont House Nursing Home gave to my friend over her last weeks.
I came to Belmont House Nursing Home for two weeks respite care following a fall in which I broke my wrist and injured my back. The kindness and care I received from every member of staff were wonderful and helped me recuperate enough to cope with life back at home. The house and gardens are beautifully equipped and maintained, providing everything one could wish for. I was particularly struck by the atmosphere of camaraderie between the various members of staff giving the impression that they really enjoyed working there together.
Excellent service and customer care. Dad at end of life. We, as family, are overwhelmed with the help and courtesy that all staff have shown to our father. Attention to detail. Any help and assistance required done very promptly.
Every day, the staff at Belmont House work hard to take good care of their residents. On top of this, they go the extra mile to put on special events. Today I attended the home's 8th anniversary celebrations - it was lovely to see staff from all departments mixing with residents and family members in the garden and to see so many residents having a great time. As always, there was a great selection of food and good entertainment. Another example of Belmont House's all-round excellence!
A very good facility with excellent, caring and jolly staff. Very attentive and genuinely helpful staff. Everything about the home is good and it would be difficult to find anywhere better. We looked at six care homes before choosing this one and were so glad we did.
The staff at Belmont House care so much about their residents and they all ensure the residents come first which is how it should be. During my grandmother's final weeks, the staff arranged an Easter egg hunt for her to do with her young great-granddaughters. She was taken to the lounge to hide the eggs and then watched the children find them! Precious memories given to us by the staff at Belmont House. The staff also arranged a surprise visit to the garden centre for her. This was to be her last visit out and we as a family cherish that memory that again wouldn't have been possible without the staff at Belmont House. Towards the end of her life, they gave us the support, advice and hugs we needed and cried along with us. The respect given to my grandmother during her final moments and after was so touching and will stay with us forever. Thank you will never ever be enough for everything each and everyone at Belmont House did for us and Grannie.
This nursing home is exceptional. It is modern, clean, welcoming and friendly. Under excellent leadership, the staff are the best I have seen in the business. (I was an HR director in a hospice for seven years). The palliative staff are compassionate, caring, not only to their resident but to family too. Nothing is too much trouble, they work with a smile on their faces and are really engaged. The care provided is outstanding and this home should be rated as outstanding by the CQC.
All staff are amazing and really care about the residents, their safety and happiness is what's important. St Patrick's Day was lovely and all the residents that were able to attend were there. The staff make everyone welcome and are always approachable. Housekeeping and cleaning staff are always present. The standards are high and residents can have pretty much what they want when they want.
I am extremely happy with every aspect of the care given to my mother. Each and every one of the staff cares about her individual needs. If she wants to go for a walk, it is arranged. If she wants something particular to eat, she is given it. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them. I cannot praise everyone enough.
Belmont House in Sutton has proved to be an astounding care home for my Mother after moving from Parkside Nursing Home in Banstead. The standards are of the highest quality and the home is managed expertly and with his team of caring professional staff. The level of care provided is second to none and in my opinion, the home merits an upgrade of a CQC rating of exceptional.
I have visited my friend who is currently staying there for respite following an operation. As a social worker, I have been to many care homes, and I can honestly say this one is excellent all around. Nice, clean rooms, friendly and approachable staff, excellent food and a visible manager.
My friend's mother was afforded the finest care in her last months. Nothing was too much trouble. Staff treated her professionally but also as a member of their families. Every care was given to her medical and emotional needs. She was given numerous ways to be active, involved and stimulated. As she became more frail, support and encouragement was always present. At her passing, support and kindness was there for us all.
My mum was very lucky, following a lengthy stay in hospital, to be able to move to Belmont House. The care and compassion shown to her in the last eight months of her life were outstanding. I saw her happy, engaged in activities, singing and smiling. The staff treated her as one of their own. I cannot thank them enough for their support of Mum and the immediate family when she sadly passed away. This is an exceptional nursing home. Thank you to every member of staff involved in mum's care.
There seemed a lack of enthusiasm in respect of getting the residents involved in activities. Easier to leave them in bed.
Belmont House Nursing Home has given my dad excellent care and my family and I feel so grateful to all the staff. It is such a relief to be able to relax knowing he is safe and happy. The staff are like an extended family to us now and my little boy (2) loves visiting Grandad and all his friends at Belmont. Thank you so much for all you do.
Excellent care was given by the very friendly staff. I can not fault anything with Belmont House. Unfortunately, my father is in end-of-life care but at least he is in the best place possible. I’m so glad we have got this in our area.
We are so grateful for the care given to our daughter by the staff at Belmont House Nursing Home. They are unfailingly sensitive and professional. Our daughter could not receive better care if she lived with the family.
Belmont House Nursing Home is like a home away from home. Everyone is so caring and kind. We were there every day at all different times. The staff were all kind and caring at any time of the day. They welcome you to be there and felt comfortable.
We were so pleased with all aspects of care, all staff are kind, caring and happy to help. Nothing was too much trouble, my dad passed away peacefully at Belmont House Nursing Home.
My mum came to Belmont House Nursing Home back in 2018 and we feel thoroughly blessed that we found this home. My mum recently passed away but can honestly say she received the best possible care. The staff are amazing, always happy to help, stop and chat, and fully supported my mum and her needs in a dignified manner. The home was always clean and a pleasure to visit at any time of day. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for looking after my mum so well and giving us peace of mind that she was in the best place. Thank you.
