View Full Details of Hadleigh Nursing HomeAll staff have been helpful, caring and go above and beyond to make my friend feel happy and secure in her new home. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, especially when moving into the home. Thank you
We needed a home for my Father who was deteriorating quickly with Alzheimer's, we tried him at another home however he would not settle and struggled with the interaction with the home staff. We then moved him to Hadleigh Nursing Home, where the style of the home and also the grounds made him feel immediately at home. He settled very quickly in the routine and the staff were excellent in accommodating his needs and especially in the early stages adjust him into his new environment. Over time the home has encouraged him to be more involved in the activities at the home. In addition the extra events such as the petting zoo, Christmas fare make is much easier for us to visit with the younger Grand Children.
I chose Hadleigh Nursing Home for my mother to recuperate after she broke her ankle. From the moment I contacted them, they couldn't have been more helpful. The house itself is attractive and is set in beautiful grounds - grounds that my mother has an excellent view of from her room. The staff couldn't be kinder or more helpful. She was warmly welcomed when she arrived, as are visitors who can drop in at any time.
I had to quickly find a home for my mother when she suffered a fall and fracture and could no longer live independently. I feel like I couldn't have chosen a better home if I had searched for months beforehand. The staff are caring and always happy to help, the food is very good and the well-kept gardens are delightful to stroll around. I appreciate being able to visit at any time, without notice, to this welcoming home from home.
I cannot thank you enough for all the trouble you are taking to make my husband comfortable and to meet his requests regarding food and nursing. I am so grateful. Visitors are always welcomed and he is always clean and tidy. Staff are kind and helpful. It offers a solution to the distressing problems of old age.
My father has recently moved to Hadleigh Nursing Home. He has medical needs and can't get around at all. The nursing and care staff have been so kind in supporting him to make a difficult transition. The management team are responsive and caring, if we have any questions they always either answer our query or follow up as appropriate. We have been able to personalise the room and make him as comfortable as possible. The food is tasty and nutritious with choices and alternatives offered. The gardens are beautiful and communal areas are light and bright, visitors are welcome at any time of day without needing to make a prior arrangement.
When I visit my mother at Hadleigh Hall, I am so happy to see her look so well cared for and content. The lovely staff are always responsive and work hard to create a calm, cheerful, and positive atmosphere. Her room is welcoming, and her possessions are looked after. Friendly, well-qualified, keep relatives informed about their loved one's health and any concerns they may have. Many, varied activities are organised for the residents to give variety to the daily routine and encourage friendship between the residents. The home is kept immaculately clean and the rooms are attractively decorated and furnished, something my mother much appreciates. Kitchen staff take note of residents' preferences and will make an effort to include them in the menu. Food is served at tables attractively laid and decorated with flowers. The home sits on beautiful grounds adding to the sense of peace, tranquillity and security. Hadleigh Hall is a lovely home.
Mum is very happy here. The staff are kind and cheerful and Mum feels very at home. She enjoys the menu very much and adores her light and airy bedroom. The whole atmosphere is warm and welcoming which has helped Mum settle into her new surroundings.
My husband is 75 and has Alzheimer's disease. It was a risk to move him from the care home he had lived for the previous two years. I feared the change would upset him and his dementia would worsen. However, he settled very well especially given that he was recovering from infections just prior to the move. The care he received from the first day has been excellent. My husband slowly regained his previous fitness and was able to enjoy the lovely grounds. He seems to be in his element as soon as he gets outside. He also enjoys the quiet lounges where he can see the gardens. Unfortunately, my husband is mainly nonverbal so I have been amazed at how perceptive, kind and patient all the staff are. I like to spend as much time as possible with my husband and I have been made very welcome. It is comforting to know that when I am not there, my husband is being well cared for. I'm very grateful to everyone. Thank you so much.
We've been impressed by the care and patience of staff towards my mother-in-law. Staff really cate and go the extra mile. We thought the effort to invite in family for mothers day and the thought involved was brilliant.
When looking at care homes for my dad who required convalescence after a major operation, I was very fortunate to find Hadleigh Nursing Home. The staff could not have been kinder or more caring and were very flexible in terms of liaising with the hospital but also supporting his needs. The manager was excellent, and her nurse colleagues were exemplary in their approaches. Many thanks for helping support my dad at what was a very vulnerable time in his life.
My mother is so happy with the care she gets from your staff. They are both caring and courteous at the same time. She feels that they are understanding of her needs and helpful with her care. The food is excellent and suits her dietary requirements.
We had looked around a number of local nursing homes for my mother, who has dementia, before choosing Hadleigh Nursing Home. We're very pleased with the choice we made. She has settled in well at the home, and the staff were very helpful with the transition to residential care. There is a good ratio of staff to residents, and the management keep us in the loop about anything we need to know. The building is in a lovely setting, with a secure garden so my mother can sit out whenever she wishes. There are a number of living rooms, so residents can choose whether they wish to be with everyone, or go somewhere quieter. When we visit, we're always made very welcome (even being asked if we'd like to stay for lunch). The staff really go the extra mile, and the staff/resident ratio is good. Moving my mother to Hadleigh Nursing Home has given the family great peace of mind, as we can see that she is being so well cared for. Thank you to everyone at the nursing home!
My father has been visiting once a week for a number of months now. The care given by every member of staff has been excellent. Most know him by name, and he comes out happy after every single visit. I couldn’t be happier with my choice of care home. If and when his needs change, I know who I will approach first for additional care.
My sister has been resident at Hadleigh Nursing Home since the 1st of February which is a lovely nursing home in a beautiful setting. I have always found the staff friendly and helpful and consider the care they have given to her outstanding. I am more than satisfied and would have no hesitation in recommending Hadleigh as a home for nursing care.
Hadleigh Nursing Home is set in beautiful grounds with clean, well-maintained rooms and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff are outstanding. Their professionalism, dedication, calmness, respect, level of communication and good humour shine through. They know Mum very well and so provide a holistic approach to her care. I am very grateful for the understanding and kindness shown to my sister and me and, most importantly, to our mum.
My sister and I are so pleased with the way Hadleigh Nursing Home is caring for our mother. Nothing is too much trouble. All the staff are so caring and kind. We visited 9 other care homes in the surrounding area and without doubt we chose the best one for our mum. Without any hesitation, I personally would recommend this nursing home. Lovely, honest, caring staff.
My dad was moved here for his final months of lifecare. The staff are always so welcoming and very friendly, making time to spend quality time with the residents. My dad was always having a laugh and a joke with his carers. His end-of-life care was exceptional - he was made comfortable and care for to the highest standard. Thank you for everything.
My review of my 3 weeks: When feeling vulnerable what a beautiful experience I have had. I have had nothing but the best possible attention which has helped me on my way to recovery. "Wherever a light shines is beautiful" and that has been my experience.
I cannot fault the outstanding care the staff at Hadleigh provided for my stepdad. They were always so kind, caring and supportive to him - and us as a family, we were never in any doubt that he was given the best of care. Hadleigh is a beautiful, peaceful setting and my stepdads last few years were made the most comfortable they could have been. A heartfelt thank you.
