View Full Details of Clarendon HouseHaving never had the need to find a nursing home, I was amazed at how wonderful Clarendon House is. My dad, sadly, wasn't there for long, but the relief he/we felt for him to be out of hospital and somewhere comfortable, safe and where he was treated with the utmost care and dignity was profound. I know he was very much looking forward to going up onto the roof terrace for a nice cup of tea and a biscuit, a simple thing that he hadn't had the chance to do after being in hospital for three months, it was something the nurses knew would make him feel more at home and realise he still had the freedom to do whatever he wanted, he was in no way confined to a single room. As you can tell, I would recommend Clarendon House in a heartbeat for anyone looking for first class care for their relative, whether it's for residential, nursing like dad required, or dementia. Thank you to all the staff (and residents) for all their kindness, it was really appreciated.
Excellent! Very happy! Continue!
Mum was in Clarendon for 16 months, having developed dementia Clarendon House was a fabulous place for her where she was looked after very caringly by the staff who made her transition from her own home to care home much easier. There were plenty of activities for her to get involved in and fabulous meals every day. In her last three months, Mum deteriorated and became bedbound and unable to feed herself. The patience and kindness shown to her right to the end by all the staff was second to none and equally they were great support to visiting family. More like a five-star hotel than a care home, with all the care as a bonus.
Excellent service, staff, and management. We are very pleased with Clarendon House.
Clarendon House is to be highly recommended! My uncle has been well looked after since his arrival. He is fed and watered throughout the day and receives his medication as required. The music piped through into the communal lounge has been a real plus ensuring that he has a reason to get out of his room. The outside terraces have yet to be explored but will be a welcome beautiful in the summer months.
Clarendon House is an excellent care home. The home has been beautifully designed and furnished, but still feels like ‘a home’. From the moment we entered, we were made to feel welcome. The whole team, from office staff to carers are polite, friendly and caring and ready to respond to any questions and requirements. Bedrooms are spacious, communal areas tastefully decorated and comfortable. Everywhere is immaculately clean. The menus change daily, with an excellent choice of food, made with quality ingredients, but residents are also able to make any special requests. There is a daily activity programme and residents are encouraged to take part. We cannot recommend Clarendon House highly enough. My mother stayed for 2 weeks for some respite care after a fall and the residential wing was perfect for her. We would like to thank all the staff at Clarendon for looking after her.
Mum has been at Clarendon House for two years, her care has been fabulous. Mum's dementia has her steadily getting worse but her care has been adapted to meet her needs. She is always treated with dignity and care. She is well looked after. The staff, including management, care staff and office, are amazing, happy, helpful and couldn't do enough for Mum. We are really pleased with the care and support. Thank you Clarendon House.
What an excellent place for my mother's respite care! Everyone is so friendly and takes care to ensure my mother is happy and supported as she recovers. We couldn't have found anywhere better. Thank you so much.
Team provides fantastic care and take a real, personalised interest with my mum. Thank you.
From the very start, the staff at Clarendon House have been exceptional. They explained the process clearly and gave a full tour on our first visit. Dad now visits the home twice a week for day care. The staff clearly, always put Dad's health and safety above all else and his comfort. The support network I have (as Dad's main carer) and Dad has, enables us both to have respite safely and comfortably, without worry, which is paramount. Dad and I are always made to feel welcome!
The care my mum and I received was fantastic. The staff were always helpful and friendly. I would recommend Clarendon House care home to friends and family. I would like to thank Clarendon House for looking after my mum so well albeit a short stay in the end. Food was exceptional as was the accommodation and activities always felt welcome.
My brother had respite care at Clarendon House, Buckingham. He was very well looked after in an extremely nice environment with lovely, caring staff. He was happy there and would be happy to go again, to enable us to have a break, or short holiday. We would like to thank all staff concerned in my brother's stay for making it a happy and positive experience.
Thank you for your excellent care of our mother.
Excellent all round - thank you for everything you have done for my mother.
I cannot recommend Clarendon House enough. My mum had 5 weeks of respite care recently. The staff are amazing, the food is varied and delicious and the facilities are great. The decor is beautiful and everywhere is spotlessly clean. If my mum needs residential care in the future, I would love for her to return to Clarendon House. I would like to thank all the staff for everything they have done to make her happy and cared for during her stay.
My mother has been a resident at Clarendon House Care Home for nearly eight months. The staff welcomed her with such kindness and understanding and always make any visitors, be they family or friends, very welcome. Clarendon House is always so well-presented and the care to detail in the lounges makes it feel so homely. I love the fact my mother is so happy and settled there and thank the staff for helping so kindly with her transition from her own home to her new home here.
My husband was made very welcome and our whole family was reassured because he settled down immediately. The care staff and management have been very kind and supportive to us all and most of all, to my husband. It is the first time he has been in respite care and I could tell by his eyes that he is very relaxed and as a family we will not hesitate to book him in again.
Had to get an emergency assessment for my mother the staff at Clarendon House had it sorted and got her a room within 24 Hours. Lovely to see carers that actually do care! More like a hotel than a care home.
Clarendon House is simply amazing. The staff are all so caring, attentive and really look out for everyone. The level of care, the regular activities, the food, coffee, and decor. Everything is as good as you would want for your loved one. Being able to visit anytime, always welcomed, cakes and coffee every time we visited, and so many places to have a quiet chat without feeling you have to go to my mum's bedroom. 10/10 to everyone, including the other residents, who are all wonderful too.
My mum came to the care home very shy and full of woe, in the two weeks of her stay here, wow what a difference. Mum has settled so well and her overall condition is back to her old self. This home has made her and us part of their family. As a son of a resident here, thank you for getting my mum back to us.
