My uncle has improved so much in the time he has been here. He has put weight on, improved mentally, attends all activities and is now interested in what is going on around him. He loves it here.

The home is very friendly, and the staff are very good with my aunt - she particularly likes her visits off a particular staff member. She has settled in very well and likes her garden room.

My dad has lived here for 2 years, the place is beautiful; his room is so cosy and homely. The staff are the greatest, the love and care they give my dad is amazing. The entertainment is fabulous, they do so much to make my dad happy, we are so happy to know he is here and safe. The staff are just wonderful to us all as well, he is a happy man being here.

My sister and brother-in-law came to Woodlands in August 2023 and their time there has not only seen a great improvement in their general health but the attention they have received has been exemplary.

My cousin entered Woodlands Residential Home after a long period in hospital. She took a long time to adjust from leaving her home. She refused to eat in the dining room and preferred to stay in her room. I must praise the staff for their patience and consideration of her needs. Now my cousin is joining in some activities and eating in the dining room. The staff appreciate her need to have quiet time on her own. The house is always immaculately clean and my cousin is always looked after well. I am very satisfied with the care she receives.

Nice atmosphere, staff friendly and kind and polite and look after residents with his needs really well. Treated with dignity and respect. Meals very good, nicely prepared and arranged.

My wife is very content. Much more so than she was when I cared for her at home. I know she gets all the care and facilities that she requires. She is always dressed and turned out. All her needs are well catered for.

My husband has been a resident at Woodlands Lodge for just over 3 years. From day one he has received first class care and support from all the wonderful and dedicated staff. I visit my husband almost every day including evenings, so I know the night staff too and we both feel we are part of a large, happy family. Staff at Woodlands consistently go above and beyond their remit. They make my husband feel special and loved. I can't stress enough what a wonderful place Woodlands is and its all down to the staff and management.

Woodlands Lodge is a lovely care home. Staff are amazing, all so caring with the residents and families/visitors. Very clean and bright environment. Would certainly recommend this home to family and friends.

My husband has been at Woodlands Lodge for almost 2 years. I am very happy with the care provided and cannot fault the nurses and carers for their patience and care. The atmosphere in the care home is very good - friendly and pleasant. My family think my husband is very lucky to be there. They provide all that is required for his needs. They communicate very well with relatives of residents.

My father came in for dementia care for two weeks while I was away. The staff kept me up to date, via messages, at all times. They were cheerful and helpful - consummate professionals in fact. My father settled quickly and became a favourite in his short time here. On his last day, developing an illness requiring a visit to A&E, the staff were quick to respond and supportive at all stages. Would highly recommend.

The staff were excellent, friendly and caring. They were very diligent when our family member had a medical issue and I felt he was in good hands. Services and facilities were of a good standard - clean and tidy. My grandfather enjoyed his stay and we intend to use Woodlands Lodge again!

Mum has been at Woodlands Lodge for more than four years now. She continues to be very well cared for and remains content and feels safe. She enjoys the meals, cups of tea, and activity sessions. The staff are wonderful, always positive, cheerful and help her to remain so too.

Absolutely excellent, the staff are so friendly and accommodating and the care home is always pristine. I cannot rate the staff or facilities highly enough. Mum is so happy here which is a great weight off all our minds.

The care in this home is excellent. I chose here because when I called in without an appointment, and I was greeted by a lovely, informative receptionist. Was shown around straight away. All the staff, from nurses to catering, were friendly and welcoming. It was immediately obvious to me this was the best place. It was about how the staff interacted with the people living there. During his stay, all my dad's needs were met, and he was treated well. Thank you to everyone who works here.

This care home and the care they have given my mother-in-law have been outstanding. The attention to detail to my mother-in-law's needs has been exceptional. A special mention to the manager of the care home, who goes out of her way to get to know my mother-in-law and all the other residents under her care.

Can honestly say that the leadership and staff at this care home are amazing. In my job I have visited many care homes and Woodlands stands out for its approach to providing a “home” where everyone feels comfortable, valued and cared for. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone considering a care home environment for their family members.
