Sea View House, Lon Masarn, Ty Coch, Swansea, SA2 9EX
View Full Details of Swansea Living SolutionsThe care given to my stepson by all staff at Sea View House is exceptional. This is the first time in over 24 years that I have ever seen him happy and settled. He is not only safe and well cared for, but the imaginative range of activities that he takes part in keeps him mentally stimulated and gives him a sense of pride and achievement. He has a very structured daily diary of activities and responsibilities, which means that he feels part of a community that works together for each other's benefit and support. He has taken part in a wide range of crafts, regularly cooks meals for all residents, and has helped to improve facilities in the garden. The staff take such care in making sure that special occasions are celebrated, not just birthdays and Christmas, but also events like the Jubilee and other local, national and international festivals. We could really not be happier and are so glad that finally, he is living in a safe and stable environment where he is making fantastic progress.
This review of Sea View is short and sweet but covers, in my view, key areas of excellence. My son has received unparalleled care and attention at Sea View in terms of a true structure in his life with all the disciplines we all need to live a good life. His time so far, at Sea View has given him all the controls he needs in all departments of achieving a worthwhile and full life which embraces community living and all its demands. He now cooks, cleans and looks after his own needs in terms of his own presentation and is able to contribute to the life of Sea View. This is due to the caring and supportive nature of all the staff.
