View Full Details of Signature at AscotStaff are very friendly, caring and teat the residents with dignity.
My mum has been in Signature at Ascot for just over a year. I am very pleased with the home, enjoying spending time chatting and having coffee and cake with my mum. The best part is I am no longer the carer for my mum, I am now just her loving daughter.
The care my Mother has received has been wonderful. The warmth and kindness shown by the staff here go above and beyond. Signature Ascot really is a very special place. Not only has my Mother had excellent care, my sister and I have been supported along the way and been shown such care and kindness. Thank you to everyone for making a very sad and poignant time bearable.
An outside observer, seeing a carer or nurse interacting with a resident of the Home, might be forgiven for thinking that the Resident is a well-loved relative of the Care Home's team member - such is the level of care and empathy within Signature at Ascot. The Home grasps every opportunity to create events and activities to provide stimulation and fun for Residents and also encourages friends and relatives to join in when appropriate. So, it was not surprising on the 1st of December to find the 'Bistro area' crowded with Residents together with many friends and relatives - sons, daughters, grandchildren, and even great-grandchildren - all present wanting to be a part of the switching-on of the Christmas lighting. Yes, it was a bit noisy with so many people talking at once, but it was a joyous occasion and that is the spirit and culture of Signature of Ascot!
I wanted to write to thank all the staff at Signature at Ascot for the incredible care that they provided for my mother for the two and half years that she was in the home with dementia. The care they provided was outstanding and the support and comfort they gave to us as a family and particularly to my father was incredible. We can't thank them enough.
Our father was offered a place at Signature, after we received the news that he was to be moved to palliative care. The care, help and support we have been offered since we first made contact with them has been fantastic. From supporting our father in settling in, attending to his medical needs and making sure he was comfortable and pain-free to being there for our mother as she goes through a period of adjustment. We are here every day and everyone is always so welcoming, happy to answer any questions we have and keep us up to date with how our father is. We can't thank Signature enough for the care they are taking of our father and of us.
Signature is a happy place and I always enjoy visiting my grandmother. The staff go above and beyond for my family. You are always welcomed with friendly faces. Today was the fete and we all had a lot of fun, including my 2-year-old sone who loved dancing.
Very comfortable. I feel well looked after in every aspect.
Signature has performed over and above all expectations. The care, activities and general welfare have been exemplary.
An absolute pleasure visiting my sister. The facilities, staff, surroundings and ambience are five-star. Social activities are excellent and available regularly.
My grandma arrived 8 weeks ago, although it has been a rollercoaster with her health. I can only say the care that my grandma has received is above expectations. Nothing is too much. We can come in whenever we want, couldn't ask for anything more...other than a huge thank you to the team in all areas!
From the first moment I made contact with the home, I felt confident that this was the home for her. The staff are compassionate, caring and considerate. The home has a quiet environment on my wife's floor, with plenty of carers in attendance and paying her attention. She settled in very quickly, and I have no concerns about the quality of care she receives. There is a good variety of activities for those able to take part.
I am very grateful to all the staff at Signature at Ascot for the thoughtful and compassionate care that they provide to my parents. Always courteous and polite to both of them and myself. Thank you.
My mother stayed at Signature at Ascot for respite care after suffering a nasty break of her wrist. The staff were very friendly and helpful which included taking her back to the hospital for outpatient appointments. They even made her a birthday cake as her birthday fell during her stay. Highly recommended.
My nana has just become a permanent resident after having a few trial stays over a few weeks. The staff are so polite, caring and happy to help. The bistro is very social between residents, and they put on lots of activities throughout the week. The rooms are very spacious. I can't thank the team enough for looking after my nana and making her smile.
I was unsure about my mother going into a home. I have to say the first two weeks were tough and for a couple of weeks there was disorientation etc. But now we are another two weeks in she has settled and I cannot say how impressed I am with the care. The staff show a genuine interest in all the guests and are happy in their work. They know about each of the people staying here and treat them like family. They create such a light and fun atmosphere, which in a care home, is not an easy task. Yes, we are only a month in and I will write an update further down the line. But I just wanted to help anyone who, like me, may have any doubts or concerns about putting their loved one into Signature at Ascot, there is no need. This is nothing like any other home I have seen and could not offer any suggestion of improvement. It is such a relief to me that my mum is getting the best care possible and she is so happy. Thank you Signature.
My mum was admitted to this wonderful care home on 7/2/2024 after a protracted distressing delayed discharge from the hospital. She died yesterday. She received an exemplary level of nursing care and support. Every single member of staff we had contact with provided the most wonderful level of care and genuine compassion for Mum, the staff could not do enough for Mum or us. My brother "found" the home on 3/2/2024. Arrangements were in place for the Signature nursing assessment by 5/2/2024 and she arrived at Signature on 7/2/2024. Although Mum could not take advantage of the many activities, resources, and luxurious surroundings as she was bedroom-based, the activities came to her including the monthly animal visit. The palliative care offered to her was superb and compassionate. Today we went to the care home to see Mum for the last time. She was given a "guard of honour" by the care staff whilst she was taken away by the undertakers, so emotional, and so respectful.
At a time when it felt like my world was falling apart, I cannot begin to express my relief and gratitude for all the staff and carers at Signature Ascot. From our very first enquiry for respite care, the level of professionalism, efficiency and care have been superb. The genuine kindness and attention to an individual's needs is nothing short of first-class. I wholeheartedly recommend them.
Exceptional care home that looked after my best friend for two months. The care staff are very attentive and are there to meet all requests. Lots of activities for residents, and he made a number of friendships with the residents. He's going home now but will be back for coffee mornings with his new friends.
Since arriving here a few weeks ago, I have experienced a very well trained staff, all sympathetic and a pleasure to be with. My room is very comfortable and very adequate for my needs. Help with showering etc. great. The food is well-cooked and varied. My wife came in twice a week for lunch. The Bistro, again, very good. There were many activities including singers and pianists, all good, a lot of talent. Next time I break my neck or femur, I am coming back!
