I moved into this facility in late September 2020. I immediately felt I
had done the right thing as I felt very comfortable from Day one.
Despite the restrictions caused by lockdown, there is a strong feeling
of community here. The staff treat us all as individuals, not as tenants
who happen to need differing levels of care/help. At the same time, it
is reassuring that there is help available at the touch of a button. I
am looking forward to the time when restrictions are lifted and the full
range of activities is available to us. Giving up one's home is a very
big step, but living here proves that such a move does not necessarily
mean giving up one's independence as well.
