View Full Details of Kingsfield CourtMy mother had been in Kingsfield court for the past 5 years, whilst suffering from Dementia. The care has always been supportive and faultless. I'm sad to say that my mother passed away earlier this month and again the staff where all so thoughtful and understanding, mum was on the first floor but to a person Kingsfield staff where magnificent. Thank you to two staff members in particular for going above and beyond your care duties. You made a terrible situation bearable. My heart felt thank yous!
My husband was generally looked after very well and his end-of-life care was handled well. The senior carer and night staff when he died were wonderful.
I am truly grateful that my late Mum spent her final months in Kingsfield Court I cannot fault one single thing about the whole experience every aspect of this home is excellent from management, cleaning, food, laundry, and most importantly the 'caring' carers you are amazing and you know who you are. I cannot thank everyone enough. Would highly recommend it to anyone who needs help and care.
Excellent care home. Mums stay was only for a few weeks and she was very challenging. The staff were brilliant and ensured mum got the help she needed. Couldn't have been any more helpful.
The home was excellent, looked after my mother-in-law, so well, look after her, with thanks to everyone at the home.
The staff are all very friendly. I have no concerns re the care offered to Mum. I can also see how Mum interacts well with everyone.
Dad seems to be happy at Kingsfield. His care seems to be ok for him. He enjoys his food. The majority of staff are very helpful and informative and care for his needs.
I am very happy with the service, my father is safe and happy. There is no issues, he gets looked after well, he is happy and content, he loves his food, he is well settled here. I would recommend Kingsfield Court to everyone.
Very pleased with the care my mother receives. The facilities are excellent, and I have no concerns at all. The staff are excellent and approachable day and night. Would highly recommend.
At weekends reception is always pleasant, helpful and has a good sense of humour. Always gets things done. Lovely home.
During the year that my mother-in-law was at Kingsfield Court, I have never seen anything untoward. The patience, care and compassion of the staff are exemplary including the end-of-life care which was faultless. The building is super clean and the food is appetising. Every resident is well-treated and personalised. Well done to all and thank you.
Kingsfield Court offers a very friendly, caring environment. It is like walking into a hotel, not a care home. My aunt has always praised staff for their level of care. The food at Kingsfield is amazing, the catering staff produce amazing food, and it is always presented in a lovely way. They 100% offer a person-centred approach to the care they provide in all areas.
Mum's room is lovely and calm. The activities are good. The food is fab. She has settled well.
I felt everyone was very helpful today and I am hoping that my uncle continues to get good attention with his recovery and swallowing. Lovely home.
The home is lovely and the staff and environment are friendly and welcoming. The staff are very friendly.
Popped in to see an old friend. First time since she had moved into Kingsfield Court. Lovely, clean and tidy building and very friendly staff. Made me feel very welcome. Very homely. Was shown to my friend's room by the lovely receptionist and offered a cup of tea by the lady with the tea trolley. Good to catch up and to be made to feel so welcome.
Mum is 93, has vascular dementia and has severe mobility issues. The decision to move into a care home was agonising. Our first impression of Kingsfield Court was telling... as nice as the decor is, it was the impact the staff had on us that made the decision easier. They have shown that they actually care. This has been demonstrated in so many ways too numerous to list. At home, she was confined to her room for over a year as we couldn't get her up and down the stairs. At Kingsfield Court, she has a much better quality of life, is able to join in with activities if she wants and has much more contact with others than before. The recent and continuing decline has shown Kingsfield Court acts very professionally in the care they give, whilst also showing they actually do care. They really do try to engender a 'home from home' atmosphere there. From the moment you walk through the reception, you feel that. Appreciate all the staff there for the kindness and care they give Mum.
My 92 year old aunt was admitted to Kingsfield Court on the 23rd December 2022 initially for 4 weeks respite care. She had had several falls at home and had recently returned from hospital and was finding it harder to cope. The staff were absolutely amazing. The member of staff on reception is like a guardian angel. On our arrival staff came into the room who had cared for my aunt and uncle previously to make her feel more comfortable and welcome. It made the whole experience so much more reassuring. Prior to moving to Kingsfield Court my aunt didn’t leave her house or talk to any people outside the immediate family. She now has a regular stroll with her walker and talks to people who are out and about. She enjoys having her hair styled weekly and her nails painted. Her quality of life is so much better. Needless to say, she is now a permanent resident. Thank you so much for all you do. You are all amazing.
Since moving into Kingsfield Court last November (2022), the family have seen a big improvement in our brother's health. It's reassuring to know that he is being cared for so well. His mobility is so much better along with his appetite, communication (apart from his hearing which is in the process of being dealt with) and social awareness taking part in the daily activities made available. The staff are faultless from the lady on reception to the carers who are all so friendly and helpful. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending Kingfisher Court to anyone in similar circumstances.
My loved one is happy and very well looked after. We live far away and are not able to see him as much as we would like, so it's nice to keep up with pictures and going on social media. We must say they do have lots of things to keep them busy which is great! Well done Kingsfield. Also to the lovely receptionist who went out of her way and above and beyond her role. I ordered a Christmas present for my uncle and I knew it would not be gift-wrapped but she kindly offered to do this. Thank you so much.
