View Full Details of Telford HallI have been very impressed whenever I have visited and found staff to be welcoming and friendly. I notice that all residents are well groomed, have their hair washed and cut regularly. They all have good food and I've overheard many conversations between staff and residents, all being very kind, thoughtful and caring. Residents all seem to be happy and entertained. All areas are clean and tidy. I have visited after hours and still been able to access when the button is pressed and not been kept waiting. The staff all seem very responsive and very kind.
I visited today for my Father's Birthday and it was also my first trip to Telford Hall. I was impressed as soon as I left my car and admired the building and gardens. Inside was immaculate throughout, staff was friendly and very helpful at reception. I was amazed to find my Dad smiling, singing, and enjoying physical chair exercises with his friends and the carers. What an impressive and enjoyable 1st visit. Thank you everyone for all your hard work.
I am pleased with the care my parent is receiving. The facilities are very good and the carers, on the whole, go above and beyond to look after the residents. The activities coordinator is very good and arranges lots of things for the residents.
Both my parents have been at Telford Hall for nearly three years. Their well-being has been top of the list ever since they arrived at their new home. They are well looked after. Their needs are carefully considered and there is much to be enjoyed at this late stage in their lives. Thanks to the staff of who I cannot speak highly enough.
Whenever I come everyone is friendly and we also have a cup of coffee in the cafe. The place is always clean.
Always enjoy coming here.
I have always been impressed with Telford Hall and it's staff. I was disappointed when the manageress left last year as she was doing an excellent job. I hope the incoming manager will be as good. If anything should happen to me and I needed to go to a care home then Telford Hall would be my first choice.
My mom sadly passed away in January 2024, but had been a resident here for just under a year, and the care, love and compassion given to Mom during her stay were exemplary; she especially loved two members of staff who both attended Mom’s recent Celebration of Life. We can’t thank the staff enough for looking after Mom and our Dad who visited every day.
Dad moved into Telford Hall last week. We’d seen other care homes and there was no comparison with the facilities and the initial warm welcome that we received from the staff at Telford Hall. They’ve made his transition into care so much easier than we could have imagined and we’re delighted with how things have gone so far even when it’s been a bank holiday weekend.
My dad was in Telford Hall Care Home for a couple of months and I can’t praise the staff enough, not only for looking after my dad but the way they looked after me and my family, they truly care and we as a family couldn’t of been happier that he ended up there.
Great improvement under new management and more expected. The manager is always prepared to listen to views and in most cases, now procedures are expected to be carried out.
Stable staff team. Professional service delivered with warmth and individual care. The manager is available and resident-focused. The home is modern, light and airy. The room can be made homely with personal items. There is now a good range of activities including physical exercise.
My father has been a resident since October 2021. Since new management has taken over I cannot fault the level of care that my father receives. I feel all my father's needs are met and his voice is heard and respected. As his daughter I think the communication is now excellent, if I have any concerns or questions I am listened to and all staff will take appropriate action and resolve my questions. I also feel my opinions are taken into account and I feel there is transparency within the communication. I also now feel staff morale is good and this is reflected in a happy and positive ethos within the home. The activities programme is varied and full with no pressure on residents to participate.
Moms been at The Farmstead now for 2 years. We’ve had ups and downs throughout this time but I have to say I have seen lots of improvements which all are beneficial to residents. Mom has really settled at Farmstead after a very difficult decision for her to go into long term care. Staff are very friendly and attentive to her needs and family are always made to feel welcome.
The new manager and her team have made huge and very welcome changes within the home. The manager's zest for life is infectious and she manages the home with an open-door policy. She recognises that errors were previously made and has been honest and acted with integrity in addressing the same. As a family, we are happy with the level of care that Mum receives. Under the new manager, an activities programme has been instigated and is run by a staff member who tries very hard to involve all residents in the activities. The staff threw a 60th wedding anniversary party at The Farmstead for my parents recently. They organised everything. All we needed to do was invite guests! They went above and beyond their duties and created a day we will never forget. Thank you. This home has had its problems. The manager has addressed every issue with due diligence and complete professionalism. Yes, there were problems, but no home is perfect. The Farmstead is safe and we are happy Mum is there.
I was admitted to The Farmstead for respite around February to March time and was most impressed with the excellent service, the staff and the quality of food. A very restful time, job well done. A first-class job. I would be pleased to recommend this rest home to anyone in the same situation.
My mother was only here for a short time as she was very poorly. The manager and staff were extremely caring. They made her last few days comfortable and were very attentive to her needs. Facilities and rooms are first class, as was the food. I have visited quite a few homes in the area, and this is by far the best.
I am so very grateful to the management and staff at the Farmstead Nursing home in Lawley, Telford for looking after my husband. He became a resident there before lockdown. Both he, and I as a visitor, were made very welcome by everyone. Then during lockdown the staff became his family. He and I could only talk on WhatsApp. I was lucky enough to see my husband after lockdown was lifted, but not for very long until his passing. It became very apparent after lockdown how much my husband and the staff had bonded. During my husband’s last days the management and staff were amazing. It was a really difficult time. They were so helpful, supportive, professional, caring to my husband, to me, and to other members of my family. Whilst I was at the home I could see how well the staff cared for other residents. I would strongly recommend the Farmstead Nursing Home to anyone who is in that difficult position of choosing a care home for their loved one.
I have had a wonderful time at the Farmstead nursing home. The staff have been understanding and I have been given exceptional care. The home gives a great level of care and all the staff are very caring, right down to the cook, carers, nurses, cleaners and the housekeepers.
I have been going into The Farmstead now for about three months and couldn’t fault anything in Farmstead. The staff are so lovely and kind, Farmstead is clean and well presented, residents are comfortable and happy, the staff go above and beyond to have activities for all residents which is lovely to see and the manager is very welcoming and brilliant with the residents and staff, it’s been a pleasure going in and seeing so many happy faces.
