View Full Details of Elegance of KetteringMy mum settled in the home very quickly which helped the family a lot. The staff are very nice and very polite at all times.
Dad was always well looked after. Treated with respect and made to feel special and important. Visitors made to feel special too. The manager kept us informed of any problems/issues and was always available to talk through our concerns.
I want to thank the manager and all the staff for caring for my husband of over 59 years with such kindness and dignity. As an exhausted 80 year old I was able to have quality time with him despite his advanced dementia knowing he was in safe hands. The caring he received was the only thing important to me and they didn't let him or me down. I was with him on the 8th July around 2pm when he gently slipped away.
Huge thanks to the manager and his team who cared for our mother in her last weeks. The team were caring, supportive and professional at all times. When we visited they were all very friendly, courteous and professional. The manager himself gave more, and clearer, advice and updates to our local family than the hospital ever did. He helped us through the funding review process and assessment scoring with the medical and social services teams. His advice on my mother's condition and expectancy allowed me to make it back to England in time to see her last few days and say goodbye. On her last day his personal assistance, care and respect for Mum meant a lot to us.
I can't thank you enough for the excellent care you gave my father-in-law in the short time he was with you. Once he was settled, he was very happy. We were so relieved that he was somewhere safe and secure, and every time we visit, he was always clean, well-dressed and was always pleased to see he was given the best personal care and attention possible. We are so grateful to the management and staff for their service.
Excellent staff and took care of my father. Slight criticism, the premises needs modernisation.
Very friendly, very professional. The patient passed away peacefully with full dignity and care.
A caring home that looked after my dad and me in a difficult time. I always felt welcome when I visited my dad and he seemed happy and at ease.
Dad has been in hospital for four months. It was so lovely to be able to visit him at the home. All the staff kept us informed about Dad. On every visit, they were so caring. The manager would ring us up with updates when Dad was put on palliative care. Sadly Dad passed away, and the care he got was excellent.
From the moment my mum arrived at Elegance of Kettering, she has been handled like a family member at the care home. She is always in immaculate condition. Our biggest compliment goes out to the staff, they are extremely helpful, friendly and care deeply about my mum. You can tell by the way they communicate and act around her. My mum seems very happy every time we see her, even though she is out of her family house. We couldn't thank the nurses and support staff enough for their hard work and dedication. We would recommend it over and over again.
Members of staff are all excellent in every way. They treat all with respect, dignity and are very caring. Could not wish for any better treatment elsewhere. There's a great choice of foods and meals are on time, but with no rush - the choice is excellent. We're like one family, they make you very welcome.
My father came here straight from the hospital. He is always very clean and smartly dressed. He seems very happy here and says the food is good. My father has severe vascular dementia and is treated with dignity and care.
I have found that Elegance of Kettering has been very good with my mother. The staff have been brilliant. A very caring, want and polite staff have made it what it is. I really like the staff and surroundings of Elegance of Kettering.
My husband was only in their care for two weeks, but he was looked after as if he was one of their family. My husband has a very peaceful passing, and we give thanks for their care and kindness.
Resident taken out of the hospital and put into Elegance if Kettering. Only saw nursing home 2-days, then lockdown. Found bedroom with all the essentials; very clean and tidy. Since then, my family and I have phoned or FaceTimed him. We found him always clean, tidy, shaven and clothes are spotless whatever time of day we ring, and all the residents look happy and at home. The staff are very professional in their duty, and nothing is too much trouble for them. They are always cheerful and let us know if they have a fall right away, and answer all questions we have asked. Overall, a welcoming pace, organised, entertainment, exercise daily and games (not easy at this time), but get every day. Barbeques in the summer, which residents all loved and ice-cream cones. The thoughtful, quiet professional way in which all members of staff seem to have makes us feel our loved ones are treated as their family. Cannot thank them enough. Caring out of this world - everyone. I've told my family, if I have to go into a nursing home, please get me a vacancy at Elegance.
Mum has been here just over a month and she is so settled, happy and content. She's eating well and sleeping great, and always happy. Staff are very polite, curious and friendly. She is not just a number, this is a family-friendly home.
Mostly have good days, but even on their bad days, staff still treat everyone with respect and kindness. When my mum doesn't want any of the food that's on the menu, the staff are more than happy to go out of their way to make something that she does want.
We have only been to the care home three times due to covid restrictions. As we live far away, we have found the care home owner very accommodating regarding visits. The staff seem very friendly and helpful, and the most important thing is that my father has told us how happy he is there.
I am being looked after very well, eating the meals, help when wanted, drink available at all times (tea and coffee). There is a good choice of food.
Staff and food are great. Feels like home. We get what we want and are treated like a family. Was taken for a shower there, feel so clean and fresh. The room is so clean and get staff coming every morning to do a bit of cleaning.
