View Full Details of Ridgeway Rise Care HomeSo much to do here for all the residents, everybody is well looked after and that includes the relatives. Staff sat with my husband to talk about his sporting photos and this he enjoyed immensely. Such a good decision to leave my husband's care into all at Ridgeway Rise Care Home.
My wife and I came to Ridgeway Rise to visit a precious friend in the palliative care unit. We traveled from the US to see our dear friend for the last time. Every single staff member was exceptionally committed, practicing servant ministry in their duties. Our friend was treated with dignity and compassion and not patronized as is the case in some facilities. My wife and I were treated as if we were family members. Our needs were anticipated and every kindness extended. The facility is spotless and little touches make it very inviting. From the first moment we entered the reception area until the day we left, we were made to feel welcome. Most of all, it was obvious that our friend, who was there less than two weeks, was received and treated with compassion in the last days of her life. I would - without exception- recommend Ridgeway Rise.
Since mum moved to Ridgeway Rise Care Home in the summer of 2024, we couldn't have been happier with the care and attention mum has received. The continuity of care has helped her settle quickly, and she has felt completely at home and safe, having been welcomed by all the staff and other residents. Mum has enjoyed all the activities, trips and food. She also enjoys all the walks, and there's always something to do to keep mum occupied. She loves to have a coffee and cake with her friends too.
On behalf of my family, I thank you all for taking such great care of my sister. The endless kindness that my sister has received from you is so much appreciated by us all. You have all made my sister smile and in a way, content, so this way she feels at peace in her lasting days on earth. A sincere thanks to you all.
My stay at Ridgeway Rise Care Home has been enjoyable. The home is extremely clean with a very caring staff and the environment is homely. The activities are also very engaging and keep us entertained.
Ridgeway Rise Care Home is a very well run care home which goes above and beyond in terms of providing quality care and excellent service to family, friends, and visitors. The facilities are clean, well-maintained, and exude a premium feel. Kudos to the management team, and the entire staff for all their hard work and commitment to providing the highest quality of care and service.
I've been visiting Ridgeway Rise for just over a year, my neighbour is a resident. The care home is always a delight to visit, I always receive a warm welcome by reception, and all carers/staff are equally friendly. Instantly on arrival, I'm always offered tea and biscuits which is always served with a smile and a chat. The care the residents receive is fantastic, the rooms are beautifully clean and extremely homely, it's just like you'd want it to be and not how I imagined a care home to be. The rapport the staff have with the residents is lovely, they really do genuinely care and you can see the residents is at the forefront of what they do. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Ridgeway Rise.
Mum moved in with us in October so we were looking for respite care at the end of December. I was very worried due to her anxiety and OCD that comes with dementia. She had a great time and was smiling lots and thanking the ladies as we left. Thank you so, so much. She even ate different foods which was amazing. See you next time.
Always excellent care and support provided. The staff are always happy and informative.
My family needed to place my Father in respite care during my mother's illness and hospital stay. The staff, facilities and welcome that my Father received were fantastic, despite his insistence that he did not need to be there. During his 2 week stay, he was difficult but the staff adapted to his needs and remained kind and attentive at all times. I would have no reservations about recommending Ridgeway Rise to anybody.
I have not had any reason to complain about anything here. Everyone is kind and very attentive. It is marvellous here. I feel I have come back to life after 2 years alone at home.
My mum spent 20 months in Ridgeway Rise. The care that she received was exceptional. The staff have been compassionate and very caring. The continuity of staff is very good and it was encouraging to see that they obviously enjoy working together as a team. When Mum talked about her care she always said how well she was looked after. We had confidence in the nursing staff who were thorough in all they did. The home is beautifully clean - the food is excellent. Congratulations to Ridgeway Rise on their very high standards of care. Full marks all round.
I like it very much. I found a best friend. Enjoy going out together. The food is very good. Lots of activities.
Mum was admitted for respite for 2 weeks on the 23rd of October 2024. Very friendly and wonderful facilities. Excellent food and service.
The home is excellent as the carers and management are very helpful in many ways. They are always helpful when asked. I have settled down and find the carers and management go out of their way to make us feel at home. I have settled down fairly quickly and have been fortunate in making a good friend.
The very new carers are not given very much training before looking after 'old women', the older carers they are the better. The food is considerably better since the arrival of the 'chef'. The change of government must sort out the finances in the country and make the running of the care home easier. Cleanliness of rooms and laundry are excellent. The medical staff are excellent.
My experience has been first-class. I feel well looked after and have some really good friends. I am here with my husband.
You can tell the staff here care about their residents which counts for everything.
My mum became a resident a year ago and everyone has been so welcoming. She is very well looked after and nothing is too much trouble. Staff are very kind and friendly and I'm always offered tea and biscuits when I visit. The food is freshly cooked and excellent and mum can either eat with other residents in the dining room or in her room. Mum's bedroom is spacious, modern and has an ensuite. There's a lovely communal lounge overlooking a large garden and mum enjoys sitting out there. There are so many activities to keep residents entertained and staff are very good at engaging mum to join in. Mum is treated with kindness and respect and staff communication is very good. Ridgeway Rise Care Home is a wonderful care home.
Everybody has been excellent with Mum's care since she arrived two years ago. All the staff from management, nurses, carers and the activities team are so friendly. Apart from the excellent care given they also have fun. I didn't realise care homes could be this good. Although it may seem expensive it's got to be the best!
