View Full Details of Lavender Court Care Home LtdMy husband is treated with kindness and respect by all staff. The management are very helpful. The room is comfortable and clean. The meals are simple but adequate.
My mum has been a resident for the past 2 and a quarter years. I have personally received the kind welcome Mum received, and my family and I have always been made welcome. During her stay Mum has continued on her cognitive decline along with her many health conditions leading to a number of emergencies. Every time and every day the whole staff have been so kind and caring. Mum died two days ago at the age of 89 1/2. Mum's request was to stay at the home indeed her home, although she often asked me "where is this place?". Mum's final three days were a true and total example of the very best and sincere care that these folks provide. Not only were they keeping Mum safe and pain free but loving and caring for her and us as a resident family. If a care home becomes the best choice for anyone let it be like or actually be Lavender Court!
Generally the care home is very good but the wi-fi is rubbish, my sisters daughter lives overseas and the only way we can rely on her being able to have a conversation with her in when we use my phone. She has a portal but the reception is poor.
My Mother has been at the home for almost 12 months now and her care throughout this period has been exemplary. The management team are always there to speak to support our family and answer any of our questions. The staff are always caring, thoughtful and respectful towards our mother and her needs and ensuring she is well looked after. Security in the home is excellent but at the same time very flexible in allowing us to take Mum out whenever we can. Thank you everyone.
Mum moved to Lavender Court twelve months ago and we couldn't be happier. Staff are fantastic, so caring and friendly and efficient. The home is spotless and immaculate in all areas. Bedrooms cleaned consistently. 5 stars from the Peckitt family.
My father here is very happy and feels very at home. The staff are wonderful and very helpful. The rooms are cleaned by a lady who is very excellent job. Everyone extremely helpful. I nearly checked myself in.
My experience of Lavender Court has been exceptional, the staff are very friendly and caring. The management is always on hand to help and sort out any problems if they arise. My mum seems very content here and I know she is being well looked after. There is usually something going on, games, crafts etc. for residents to be involved in. I would recommend Lavender Court to anyone.
Lavender Court Care Home took care of my husband for 18 months, having been admitted with dementia and during that time took him to hospital for eye appointments and cared for him when he had chest infections. He enjoyed the entertainment and visits from people bringing in animals for them to see. The staff always made us (the family) welcome.
I had friends in Lavender Court over the last 2 years. They were husband and wife. Every time I visited them I found the staff very friendly, empathic and very helpful. The home was always very clean and tidy. My friends always looked very clean and very well looked after, even her hair looked lovely. I was very surprised as when her husband died the carer even accompanied her to his funeral to save me having to come and pick her up. There were activities to do and she even had a party for her birthday. I would definitely recommend this home.
Mum was only with Lavender Court for 5 weeks before her passing but I was so impressed with the care she was shown and support to both of us. The staff is excellent, very friendly, totally professional and approachable. I thank the whole team for looking after my mum.
I visited today to see a close friend who has advanced dementia, I am a GP. On arrival, we were met by a very friendly carer who took us to our friend and made us feel very welcome. The home is beautifully decorated in bright colours and images, providing a warm, calm experience. After working in many dementia care homes in a professional role, this is the warmest, friendliest home I have been in, I would be happy to recommend this care home to a relative.
So pleased that our mum is in Lavender Court! She has been there for nearly 2 years now and during that time, has received excellent care. All of the management and staff (too many to name individually) show considerable compassion, patience and understanding whilst doing a very difficult job. My sister and I live a long way from Perranporth but our minds are at rest knowing that mum is being so well looked after. On our recent visit, we noticed how clean the care home is and how tasty the food looked. The staff encourage mum to eat and to participate in the entertainment on offer. It was heartwarming to see her so happy even though she regrettably doesn't understand too much. Huge thanks to everyone at Lavender Court.
My mum has been at Lavender Court for 18 months and I cannot speak highly of the care she receives. The carers are very dedicated to all residents, they are very helpful, kind and considerate, and nothing is too much trouble. I'm often offered a cup of tea and biscuits when visiting, even when they are busy with other residents. Management are equally as dedicated and caring, they keep me informed when my mum is poorly or had a fall at any point. Again, nothing is too much trouble and always have time for a chat to put my mind at ease. My mum has the best care possible and I would highly recommend Lavender Court as a care home. Thank you to all the staff for their dedication and care.
My father has been a resident since July 2021. Lavender Court has a really homely feel about it, this is in part due to the warm and bright interior but also because of the warm, caring and dedicated care team. My father is very well cared for, always clean, well dressed and very well fed. He is warm and most importantly safe. I have great peace of mind knowing that he is in the best place for his needs.
Could not find a better care home. Staff are wonderful. The home is spotlessly clean, and the residents are cared for very well, always welcoming and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for them, always happy to help or answer any questions you may have.
My mum went into crisis at home. After social services input for respite care, we went to Lavender Court to see if the home was suitable for Mum's needs. One member of staff welcome us and put Mum at ease. We all felt that the home was welcoming and caring. The team are happy and patient - this reflects in the atmosphere at the home being a happy one. Lots of ideas in integrating the home into the community are inspirational. I love this home, and I'm happy that Mum is safe, well cared for and respected.
My mother is well cared for, well fed and looked after in a safe environment. We appreciate the difficulties and challenges given the medical conditions of residents. What is very clear is the improvements since the new manager and deputy arrived, plus the easing of Covid restrictions. Importantly, we can always talk to staff when required.
Amazing facility and staff caring and supportive. Very fresh and clean, best in Cornwall, food very well presented and well cooked. Of all the care homes, we looked at this was the best, by far the best.
All staff very kind when I come to visit.
I found the manager and staff very welcoming and helpful. We went to sing carols to the residents. All my church choir members liked the premises to say 'We'll be putting our names down'
