View Full Details of Hallmark Hutton ViewI cannot express my gratitude enough to the staff of this amazing care home, there are not enough words to describe their outstanding care, compassion, advice and support of not only the residents but also the associated members of the 'residents' family. The whole ethos of this home is exceptional and the quality of care is outstanding. The meals, housekeeping, care, cleanliness and overall welcoming feeling is a credit to your staff.
Oh my goodness what can I say! From the moment Mum entered Hutton View, the Customer Relationship Manager and her team were fantastic. The whole family were tired and vulnerable after a difficult time in the hospital. It was such a relief to be finally getting the care and attention needed. It was as though someone had put their arms around us all. The facilities at Hutton View are second to none. The residents radiate happiness and you can feel the community spirit in the air. All the staff are extremely attentive and genuinely have the resident's best interests at heart. Not to mention the food - wow, Mum has a handmade 3-course dinner at every mealtime. The family joke that she is in a 5* all-inclusive hotel. It was clear from the onset that not only are the residents of high importance, but so are their family. The lounges and seating areas everywhere have complimentary snacks and drinks for all to enjoy and you never feel like you are in the way. Overall I cannot rate the place high enough. Well done everyone.
Our whole family entirely are pleased with the service personnel, cleanliness, and care that our family member is experiencing. She has settled in remarkably well in the last few weeks, better than any of us expected or hoped.
My husband received excellent care well at this home. He was under a palliative care scheme and we were very satisfied with all the aspects of his care for the short time he was residing there. The staff were the best and he was treated with respect and understanding. Well done to everyone involved in this care.
We went to the care home three times until we decided our Mother would benefit from moving in. To be honest it was harder for me as a carer for Mum to let go. The environment, activities, rooms, and staff are all so professional and so caring, it is like a big family. My Mother has bloomed since she became a resident and is very happy, smiling all the time and she is not lonely anymore. Mum has made friends and loves having her hair and nails done. She said the food is very tasty.
My dad stayed at Hallmark Hutton Vire for respite care following a four-week period in hospital. Although he only resided in the care home for just over a week, we were so pleased with the care he was given by all the staff. The home is a beautiful, calm environment, and my dad was treated with great care and dignity. It has brought us a lot of comfort knowing how well looked after he was - even enjoying his favourites, chocolate cake and ice cream!
My elderly mum was placed at Hutton View in December 2023 for end-of-life care. From the moment she was welcomed, I knew she was in compassionate, professional and safe hands, which was such a relief. The care Mum has subsequently received has been superb. In my experience, the entire team, from housekeeping to senior management have an approachable, responsive, can-do attitude. The Hallmark ethos shines through. It is a testament to the level of care and excellent nutrition that Mum is still with us today. Yes, Hallmark care is more expensive than elsewhere but, in my opinion, it is worth every penny. Real care isn't about the shiny, elegant surroundings, it is all about the day-to-day human interactions.
My mum came to Hutton View Care Home as part of 'end of life care,' from hospital. Although her stay was short, I can wholeheartedly say that the care she received from all the staff was exemplary - she was treated with respect and every effort was made to make her as comfortable as possible. Every member of staff exhibited a sense of professionalism, but with the tenderness that such circumstances require. I would recommend the home to anyone and everyone!
All the staff have been excellent. Very friendly, polite and accommodating. Nothing has been too much trouble and I feel happy and confident that my mother will receive the best care. The facilities, car parking, etc. are first class.
My mum has been in Hutton View for 3 months and has settled in well. She was in two other care homes previously and could not settle and I was not happy with her care. Here I cannot find any fault whatsoever. The staff are all so caring and my mum loves them. They keep me fully up to date regarding her health and well-being. The staff throughout the home are all so pleasant and welcoming. The whole ambiance of the place is lovely and the home is well-kept and clean including the beautiful gardens. I am finally able to relax knowing that my mum is safe and well cared for.
Thank you Hutton View. What can I say? Facilities - fabulous! Staff - superb! Cleanliness - cracking! Food - fantastic! Grounds - gorgeous! Thank you so much for your care and attention.
Thank you to the lovely staff at Hutton View for making my mum's birthday special. We had a great family afternoon tea in the summerhouse. Followed by a beautiful cake in the cafe with the other residents. The catering staff always do a great job. Special mention for the hospitality manager who made sure everything ran smoothly on the day.
I cannot praise the Hutton View Care Home enough. Our dad was in the home and the care was second to none. Our mum has been in the home for just over two years and we can see how she has really come out of herself. The staff are amazing. They are professional, caring, supportive, and we feel like part of a big family. From the moment we enter the home we are greeted by the fantastic reception staff and all the staff are so attentive. Mum requires a lot of support around her medication requirements. This is managed very well and gives Mum and the family peace of mind. Nothing is too much trouble and residents are made to feel that it's their home. Residents and family are kept up to date with weekly newsletters. Activities and trips out are arranged if they wish to get involved. Mum has a patio area that leads onto the garden and can enjoy her love of gardening. The management and hospitality is excellent, with extremely high standards. I would not hesitate to recommend.
We're happy that we found this place for Nanny as she is very happy here. She particularly likes her garden outside her room. Everyone is lovely to us as well as Nanny.
Excellent is a poor mark to give as I think everything here is lovely and I would give all the staff at least twice the mark. We are taken out on trips and some poor carer has to push my wheelchair all the time which they do without any complaints. My granchildren visited last weekend and one of my granddaughters said 'Nanny, you always look happy like you used to before you came to live here' which I think was the best compliment they could have made.
I cannot give enough praise or thanks to Hutton View Care Home and their support, care and reassurance pre our mum's admission and during. The manager, and her team, have held our hand and guided us in the transition not just physically, but emotionally in relation to us as a family and our mum having respite care at Hutton View. All staff are kind, professional, humble and place the residents first. We have observed and seen them go above and beyond in what they do and they have certainly opened our eyes into how a care home should be run. We simply cannot recommend Hutton View enough. The focus is entirely on our mum's needs with us always held in mind - simply, thank you.
Hutton View Care Home really helped my 93 year old friend transition into care. He has both visual and hearing impairment and the staff after a little getting used to have really been able to draw him out of his shell and helped him interact with other residents and use the lovely common spaces and garden to meet other people.
Since me and my husband have arrived, we have been welcomed and feel very secure in our environment. The food is excellent, staff are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The care we both receive is very good and our children know that we are well looked after. Our room meets all our needs and very comfortable. Visitors can come any time to visit, even pets are welcome. Five-stars all-round.
All the staff at Hutton View Care Home are unfailingly polite, helpful and extremely compassionate to both my mother and myself. They have supported my mother through a very difficult transition from living at home to living in Hutton View Care Home. It has taken a huge effort from all the staff to greatly encourage my mum to participate in life at Hutton View (which she is gradually doing). My only criticism is that occasionally messages are not relayed between relevant team members.
My sister and brother-in-law came in early February 2023. My sister was hardly speaking, she has improved so much. She is eating and speaking and taking part in the conversation. I am so pleased with her progress. Many thanks to the staff of Hutton View for all their expert help.
