View Full Details of Smithy Bridge CourtGiven our brother/brother-in-law hasn't been in very long overall we are "happy". Recently had a family meeting with the new manager and I was very impressed with future ideas and plans. We personally had just one issue and a promise was made to improve/look into it, once this is addressed were have no further issues or complaints at this moment in time. Feel we can confidently say we recommend Smithy Bridge Court.
Thank you to all of the incredible staff team who work so hard to support and care for my aunt. She is very happy at Smithy Bridge. As a family this month the team went above and beyond ensuring our aunt and sister had a great birthday celebration. The staff helped with a little party, dancing, singing and spreading lots of joy! It was lovely making treasured memories. Thanks once again.
My mother has been a resident for nearly 2 years now. I manage to visit at least every 2 weeks. On most occasions, my mother has been well dressed and cared for with a cup of tea and biscuits on the go. I usually arrive late morning which is a good time for everybody concerned. I leave just before lunch so as not to get in the way. The care staff do a great job. I can see that some residents are challenging but they cope admirably. The new manager has great ideas and plenty of enthusiasm we wish her well in her new role. Keep up the good work everyone!
Since being at Smith Bridge Court, my mother's health and mental well-being have improved greatly. The staff are so friendly and adore her. I am confident that she feels very much at home and that she is well cared for. Family meetings are often held, and the management team listen to ideas and suggestions from us. Keep up the brilliant work and thanks to all the staff who make my mum's life so comfortable.
A lovely, nurturing care home, with some very caring staff. The new manager seems very welcoming and passionate. The team are always willing to go that extra mile for Mum, taking her out shopping, doing her makeup and taking her out for regular coffee trips to the local cafe.
I visit my auntie every 4-6 weeks. On every visit I always find the staff to be extremely caring and helpful. They are always willing to oblige and nothing is too much trouble for them. My uncle and I have full peace of mind when we leave the home knowing full well that my antie will be looked after with genuine kindness and compassion. It's almost like she is one of the family. I really appreciate the care and kindness the staff show. They are completely devoted. A huge thank you for all you do.
I have total peace of mind my wife is getting the best care and support.
An amazing caring and supportive nursing home. The staff are very caring and keep relatives updated and ring when needed, will even ring so my dad can speak to us when dad is distressed and helps him and then is much happier afterwards.
From the first day, my wife has received the best care and attention from all the staff, both day and night. Nothing is too much trouble for them. If there is any problem, it is discussed and a solution is achieved. My daughter and my son who visit regularly have commented on the service my wife has received. We are aware the staff have made my wife's time at the home comfortable and safe. Her cleanliness is second to none. I did not want my wife to come into a home but I admit this home has been a revelation.
Dad lived here for over a year until he passed away on the 1st of March. Without Smithy Bridge, I wouldn't have got through the final stages of Dad's dementia. Not only did they do an amazing job at caring for Dad but the support they have given me and even after he has passed is just out of this world. While Dad was there I was relaxed and able to start enjoying my life too knowing Dad was being so well cared for. They genuinely do care.
We would like to thank all members of staff for looking after our mother. Who passed away peacefully in January. They didn't just look after Mum. They showed love and compassion to the whole family on the day of her death. Thank you to you all!
My aunt and uncle are residents, and I have been several times with my mum. We have found the staff to be pleasant, helpful and seem to care about the people they look after. I can’t find any faults at all.
