View Full Details of Beckenham Park Care Home - Avery CollectionWhat a fabulous care home. Wonderful staff, decor is superb and very relaxing, rooms very inviting and clean and so many lovely daily activities it's hard to choose. My mother is always made very welcome and she absolutely loves staying at the home which is so reassuring.
This was the second time that my father had stayed in Beckenham Park Care Home for respite care. Once again, he was cared for very well by all staff and management. The break did him the world of good and he left with a more positive attitude and feeling much better.
My mother has been a resident at Beckenham Park Care Home for two years. She is now blind and needs help for just about everything. I find the staff at Beckenham Park to be excellent, from the nurses to the supervisors and carers, office staff, cleaning, catering and reception. My mother is well cared for and often the cares just pop by her apartment for an extra visit to see her for a quick hello which brightens up her day. I feel confident and reassured that my mother is in safe, kind hands.
Beckenham Park Care Home - Avery Collection - the most beautiful surroundings, great attention to detail, everyone is very friendly, staff are amazing. My friend is safe, secure and happy and that means the world. Thank you!
My mom came to stay here and was well looked after. The staff are excellent. The receptionist is amazing.
Beckenham Park Care Home is one of the most professional nursing homes I have ever encountered. The whole atmosphere is one of welcome from both the staff and the environment. Staff on the dementia unit are caring and patient, offering a high standard of care in a sometimes challenging unit.
Caring and committed staff. Beautiful surroundings. Great food and a constant series of activities. My mother is very well cared for. The receptionist was knowledgeable, welcoming and was very helpful during our transition.
Very pleasant, would like to come back.
The care at Beckenham Park Care Home is excellent in every area of care. The one area I would mention which is unique to here is the staff. They are exceptional in the level of care they provide to every resident, treating everyone as an individual with respect, dignity and paying attention to their individual needs. From the minute one walks in the door to be greeted by the receptionists, visitors are aware of the warmth of the place and high standards of cleanliness and care with great attention to detail.
My 99-year-old father moved into Beckenham Park Care Home at the end of July 2023 and hasn't looked back. He is happy, settled and well cared for, and we can relax knowing that he is safe and his needs are met. He loves his accommodation and is learning to be looked after rather than fending for himself and relying solely on his family. We have also been impressed with the number of activities on offer every week and seeing happy and positive staff members around the home.
My aunt moved into the care home and was very reluctant to move from her home after forty-five years. However, the care, compassion, support and empathy that all the staff gave her was amazing. As a family, we would like to thank all the staff for the care they gave on a day-to-day basis. Thank you everyone.
Nothing seems too much trouble for anybody. Staff always courteous and know residents by name.
Our overall experience of Avery is excellent. My one criticism/disappointment was the lack of food back from a fairly recent diagnosis my mother received. I do think this could be improved.
Overall, my experience of the care home is very favourable. The staff, on which the standard is established, are generally excellent. They are very helpful, considerate, patient and understanding of residents' problems. It is very interesting that, as a respite or temporary resident, one finds a high level and acclaim from the permanent residents - it says a lot for the standard of the staff.
My father has enjoyed excellent care at Beckenham Park. The staff are all wonderful, from the nurses and carers to the hospitality and domestic teams and activities. Very grateful that he can be cared for somewhere where I know he is so well looked after.
I visit my good friend at least twice a week at Beckenham Park Care Home. The receptionist is always very welcoming and helpful. All staff are amazing, I enjoy seeing all residents participating in the daily activities.
My father went into respite care in July whilst we went on holiday. When we returned to collect him and take him home he was reluctant to leave the home. He had had a lowly 'holiday ' and had made some new friends. On returning home he was lonely and missed all the activities and stimulus the home provided. He was happy to return as a permanent resident and we as a family are pleased he is in safe hands and enjoying life with new friends and we can call in whenever we wish.
My dad has just moved in and is loving living in the home. He loves the meals and all the social activities, especially the Bridge Club.
Comfortable room and pleasant surroundings, staff friendly and helpful. Efforts made to keep stay interesting e.g concerts laid on and activities organised.
Signature has been very good since we first started dealing with them. My mum is now in the home, and they have been excellent. Mum had an unsettled start, but they settled her as soon as possible. The staff have been very good.
