View Full Details of Barnet Grange Care Home - Avery CollectionI have been a resident for eighteen months and I am very happy here.
Everything is professional, friendly and well run.
Wonderful experience, recovered very quickly. Came back as a volunteer once a week.
Barnet Grange Care Home is very welcoming. All staff are courteous, efficient and helpful, from reception throughout the entire complex. Visitors could not ask for or expect anymore! The two residents I come to visit are so well looked after, they are super comfortable, I come happy to see them and leave happy having seen them, knowing they are super comfortable. Excellent facilities.
This is my first visit, very beautiful! Entry good, greeting good, hospitality good, facilities are second to none. The ambience of the place is immediately noticeable. Looking around, all residents appear happy, well cared for and content! A real lovely, tranquil place.
My experience of Barnet Grange Care Home is very good. It's clean, comfortable and the staff are very kind and helpful. It exceeds my expectations and I look forward to staying until I get carried out!
Lovely visit - sat in the garden for a while - then inside for coffee.
Beautiful home. Very pleasant surroundings. Staff are amazing.
My husband was in Barnet Grange for 4 weeks recovering from surgery. He was well looked after and the staff were caring. The nursing needs some improvement but the other staff were competent. The activities were well thought out and the food was good.
My husband was a resident for one week for respite care. Very welcoming, caring staff, always friendly. Had one issue; I had a telephone call from a nurse asking for a medication to be sent in. It was not appropriate as I was away and the medication could be bought over the counter. I did bring this up on my return and was agreed it was not correct. I feel these sorts of issues need to be addressed. The admission lady was absolutely amazing, very helpful and caring as were the staff at the desk.
Very welcoming, caring, attentive staff. A good start. Luxury accommodation, excellent facilities.
My mother stayed for a week to see if she liked Barnet Grange: she loved it! She is excited to move in and found the staff and surroundings excellent. She really enjoyed her stay and can't wait to move in.
So much good is ruined by poor food, high in fat and sugar and low in protein. Quality meat only Sundays otherwise cheapest varieties. Dishes served frequently do not resemble the written menu. Last week's Turkey Escalope was 3 small 1/4 in thick sliced chunks of tasteless meat in gravy. Meat Pie was 4 bite-sized chunks of meat, all bulked up with sauces. This problem applies throughout. I, and others, buy food to supplement meals. Luxury living paid for but not delivered. Lunch is better than dinner or high tea. If catering was the same quality as the building and staff, it would be ideal and value for money. At present, I am judging as a resident suffering from old age, not just yet an invalid. I would appreciate more feedback results of frequent blood tests if possible.
My grandma seems settled nicely at the care home. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The security is a little worrying.
Mother has settled in very well. She says the staff are lovely and friendly and helpful. There is so much to do there which is exactly what she needed. The entertainment section and staff do a wonderful job that really suits my mum. She enjoys the food mostly and the 'cafe' is brilliant for when visitors come and sitting room area. It is very clean and always looks wonderful.
My old school teacher and my friend, who suffers from dementia, recently became a resident of the care home; it was a complete shock. I visited Barnet Grange Care Home to see my friend, and all the staff are very welcoming and friendly. The staff at reception were amazing, and I know how well looked after my friend will be whilst staying there. I just wanted to add a huge thank you to all the staff for their amazing work so far and in the future but for mainly looking after our old friend.
My mother, who suffers from dementia, recently became a resident of the care home; it was a very challenging transition made much easier by the guidance and help of all staff at Signature at Barnet. They were all very welcoming and helpful throughout and treated us with kindness and dignity.
As we were coming for respite care, we did not know what to expect. We were very pleased with the care that we had! We found the staff very friendly and very helpful. The place had a very good atmosphere; everyone was friendly. The other residents were very friendly too and welcoming. Overall, it was a very good experience for us, and we were sorry to go home! We both felt relaxed and refreshed and will not hesitate to return if needs be. We shall recommend it to friends.
Although not familiar with respite care, my experience here has been a good one. Signature is a clear and highly professionally operated company and ensures its staff are well trained throughout. This is a comfortable and pleasant place to be, from the location to the quality of the whole service provided. Of course, this comes at a cost, but you get what you hope for, and in my case, leave feeling more able to cope with the world outside, as it really is.
The whole team at Signature at Barnet are friendly and approachable. Have made the whole process of my father's move very easy to ensure he was not stressed about the change in his lifestyle. This has given me comfort that he is happy and has taken the day-to-day worries that I had about him trying to care for himself away from me. Thank you.
