View Full Details of Fosse Way View Care HomeAbsolutely lovely staff. Very friendly and so helpful. They went out of their way to welcome my Mother. Stunning place with high-end decor. It literally is a home from home. Beautiful garden, which is important to my Mum. I feel very comfortable knowing this is now her forever home.
My mother spent some time in the hospital in January, and the care she has received since coming out has been nothing short of wonderful. Kind, considerate and paced to suit her needs. Thank you.
I find the home friendly, very clean, bright and airy. It's more like my mother's home rather than an institution. The staff are professional but very friendly and always seem to put themselves out to assist the residents and relatives when they visit. The care provided by the staff seems to well exceed the care my mother was receiving from her local GP in another area.
We needed short-term care for our mother-in-law whilst we were away. Fosse Way is friendly, clean, beautifully decorated and spacious. The attention to detail with things like artwork and photos to jog memories is so important. All the staff are efficient, caring and conscientious. There are many different areas for activities and a beautiful garden to encourage as much involvement as possible. Excellent. Thank you.
From the moment my mum arrived, she was treated with the utmost kindness and respect. As a family, we feel that mum is safe, cared for and loved, and we are so thankful that she is happy and content. We would have no hesitation recommending the Home and its lovely carers to other families.
In our experience, Fosse Way View is an exceptional care home. My father has been a resident for the past four months and is extremely happy there. All the staff we have encountered have been excellent. They are very professional but also friendly, kind and respectful. It is always an anxious time when a family member has to move in to a care home but the staff handled the situation calmly and put us all at ease. The home is beautifully furnished and is clean and well maintained. The gardens and patio areas are lovely and we are looking forward to seeing them when spring and summer finally arrive. My father reports that the meals are wonderful and he particularly appreciates the constant supply of tea throughout the day! He also thoroughly enjoys the range of activities on offer and is always trying something new. Overall, I would say that Fosse Way View is an excellent care home and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
The team are amazing! From managers, seniors, carers, cleaners, chefs! Nothing is ever too much trouble. I am always welcomed with a smile. The staff showed a genuine interest in their clients. They are all very caring and put the client's dignity and wishes as a priority. I am so pleased they made my mum so welcome. The weekly activities are varied and meet her needs. The food is very good with plenty of choice and with theme days too. The rooms are beautifully kept and the whole place is very clean and tidy - the gardens are well maintained.
Excellent care home with good, modern and integrated facilities. My wife came into the home in September 2023. One need for dementia sufferers is stimulus, but more is needed to keep the residents occupied in my view. I visit daily.
The care staff and team are excellent. Rooms and community areas are kept clean and beautifully decorated. I feel Mum is safe and well looked after. The atmosphere is happy and feels like an extended family.
An outstanding home, care and attention from staff are exceptional. All staff are warm and friendly. Always available to talk to. Fabulous facilities.
An excellent residential home with really friendly staff. You are greeted by a staff member who is knowledgeable and professional, nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend.
My sister lived at Fosse Way View for two years. Last year the council instigated a safeguarding investigation into the care that my sister received whilst living at Fosse Way View. Their report, which came out in October, found that medication was not administered as prescribed and that there was a delay in responding to a medical issue. The council also found that there were issues with moving and handling, including the moving and handling care plan being out of date, some staff not having received the necessary training and procedures being put in place that was not safe for my sister or the staff. They also noted that the concerns around moving and handling continued at that time.
My mum has had Fosse Way View as her home for the last five months, is exactly that a comfortable, caring, warm and welcoming home. Mum has dementia and when it became impossible to care for her in our family home we needed to find a place that closely resembled what she knew. Here at Fosse Way View Mum’s needs are met in a calm, safe, warm and stimulating environment. The highly skilled staff have created a family-friendly feel to the place where residents are encouraged to build strong relationships, follow their own interests and be as independent as possible in their daily routines and chosen activities. The meals are carefully prepared, fresh and tasty with a wide and varied choice of dishes at each sitting. The newly purpose-built accommodation allows Mum to have a light airy bedroom with a modern bathroom attached for her private use. The icing on the cake is the delightful secure courtyard garden for a spot of fresh air to reconnect with nature and the community at large.
During the past 12 months, my mum has been well looked after by staff and carers of Fosse Way View. She has been treated with dignity and respect and our family has been made very welcome. The facilities and cleanliness of the home are excellent. The rooms are beautifully decorated, spacious and light. A large number of activities are provided and are very well coordinated for the residents to participate in or just watch and enjoy. Overall, I would say that Fosse Way View creates a safe, comfortable and homely feel for my mum and other residents to live in.
My husband stayed in Fosse Way View for two weeks, he loved it and said it was wonderful, like being in heaven.
Without exception, a fantastic care home with personalized, professional care - my mum was so happy here (she made friends and enjoyed the wide programme of activities such as poetry reading and the Friday quiz), and we felt completely confident in the care that she received. I would highly, highly recommend it.
My mother has been to Fosse Way View Care Home in Bingham for respite care 6 times over the last 18 months. The team are always professional, friendly, supportive and kind to both me and my mother! My mother always reports the food as delicious and she enjoys the flexibility of being able to make her own tea and coffee when she is thirsty. Her room (which inevitably changes on different visits so she has tried a couple) and the public areas are always very clean and welcoming, with soft furnishings and carpets particularly being very nicely maintained. The care team are super and were so helpful to us when my mother wasn't well before a planned visit for respite care and they were able to arrange for her to move in 10 days early with about 4 hours' notice. My mother always returns home better than when she moved in - what could be better!
Mum moved into Fosse Way View Care Home after a fall and just before I was due to go out of the country for 3 weeks. She was extremely anxious but happy to be somewhere safe. I was unsettled leaving her, but reassured by all the staff that they would take care of her. On return she appeared very settled and well cared for and is glad that she has made the move to Fosseway, regularly telling me how happy she is to be there and how kind everyone is to her. I can’t ask for more.
The accommodation is lovely and the extra areas and very welcoming. everywhere is kept clean and feels homely. The staff are friendly and really care how the residents are each day. Mum is easy to please, but staff generally realise that when she doesn't ask this is to help them, so they do point out that it is her home and they are there to look after her, thank you. I have recommended the home to a number of friends.
