Superb residence in all respects even in my 4 month stay. All residents very positive about the care they are being given

We recently needed 2 weeks respite care for Dad at short notice and I am so grateful to the management team for coming to see us so quickly to establish Dad's care needs and offer him a room. Dad was warmly welcomed by both the Rivendell View staff and the other residents and he felt fully included straight away. His lovely ensuite room was clean and bright, well appointed and opened onto the secure garden. He enjoyed joining in with some of the plentiful wellbeing activities provided but also enjoyed being able to spend time quietly in his room with his privacy being respected at all times. What a truly amazing team they have at Rivendell View.

All the staff are amazing and so patient with some very difficult residents. My Aunt was admitted on urgent respite care. Nothing was too much trouble. Her room rivalled those of a top-class hotel. The care she was given was exemplary.

It was my mum's moving-in day yesterday and the entire experience could not have been any better for her or me. The ethos of inclusivity, welcoming, and encouragement was evident throughout. Every member of staff was patient, kind, and understanding. Many residents made it their business to welcome Mum, introduce themselves, and invite her to join in. Her room is glorious, I echo all the reviews about the exceptional quality of the environment. The communication throughout the handover phase fills me with confidence too. Everything was at mum's pace and the balance between checking in on us and giving us space at this really difficult time was spot on. I am looking forward to seeing how my mum's physical health improves and how additional socialisation benefits her quality of life. Thank you for taking the time to check in on me and ask how I was, fully recognising the emotional impact that this decision was likely to have on me, whilst putting on a brave face for my precious mum.

As soon as you walk into Rivendell View there is a friendly welcoming atmosphere. The carers are absolutely amazing and look after the residents as it they were their own family. Their communication with me is first class and I have always been kept up to date with every step of my Dad's care. He couldn't be in a better place.

My Mum recently moved into Rivendell View. The environment is excellent, and the food is great. There is a lot going on to entertain the residents. However, what makes this home stand out is the staff. Each and every staff member have been helpful, kind, and considerate. They go out of their way to ensure residents feel part of a larger Rivendell family.

Excellent facility. The client is thoroughly impressed by all carers and staff. Particularly one member of staff who was able to reassure the client about personal hygiene issues. The client has been able to choose food and increased appetite.

Always enjoy visiting Mum. The staff is always friendly, and helpful and it feels like Mum's home not just a care home. Always recommend it to people when they ask about the home, for their own relatives.

Such kind caring staff who have helped Dad settle into his new home and new part of his life. Nothing has been too much trouble cleanliness is exceptional and great care is given to residents regarding their dignity needs and comfort. Cannot thank you enough for a time that has been hard for us all.

The staff have shown great kindness to Mum and offered support and assistance at all times, both professionally and socially and all their efforts are greatly appreciated. Their personal approach to him and myself has helped Mum settle into the home and reassured me that Mum is receiving all possible attention and support in difficult circumstances. I feel confident that Mum's welfare is paramount to the staff.

My husband and family are extremely happy with Rivendell Care Home and how well Dad has settled down and into the daily routine. He was not well on arrival physically and mentally but he has picked up tremendously and looks younger than his 95 years (tomorrow)! It's all the care and support he has received and he feels safe and looked after. We are so delighted with all that is on offer. The activities, care, food, facilities, housekeeping and physical building altogether make Rivendell the place to live when needs have increased. A big thank you from us all and Dad!

Having struggled to find suitable respite care for my elderly mother, I was fortunate to find "Riverdell View" through a friend. From the outset, I was very impressed with the absolute professional approach, standards and communication throughout the first visit and thereafter. Staff and management at "Riverdell Viiew" were able to me all of mine and my mother's needs, in a totally professional way.

The care received exceeded expectations. We were impressed by our initial visit and the care received throughout respite remained at this high level. The carers delivered a consistently high level of care in a friendly and encouraging manner.

The care my mum received whilst she stayed at Rivendale was excellent. The staff was very understanding and polite. The best care home within the area. The activities were very good and regular small games were ideal.

My parents came in for respite care for 2 weeks and all the staff at Rivendell View cared for them really well. Having medical care so easily accessible meant my dad got the care he needed and Mum went home feeling recovered and relaxed. The home is beautiful with a lovely atmosphere and lots of entertainment for the residents. Lots of good food and care, just what they needed.

The kindness, compassion and wonderful staff make this a truly wonderful care home. Rivendell is absolutely spotless, so clean and smells wonderful. The rooms are of the highest standard as is the food.
