View Full Details of Louth Manor Care HomeWe all want the best care for our loved ones, and, in choosing a care home we might first be attracted to the many facilities, the luxury rooms, the restaurants etc. Louth Manor certainly has all of these. But, in truth, life is a bit more complex than that, and what we really want for our loved ones is care love and protection when they are feeling vulnerable, a feeling of belonging, interaction and interest, in effect, a home from home. My wife has been a resident in the Haven wing for over two years, and I visit almost every day, so I see most of what happens. No, it's not always perfect, but mostly it's very good and always the staff care for the residents in a respectful, professional, and loving manner. Just as you would at home.
Can't speak too highly of the care and staff at the home. Always welcoming. The rooms always look neat clean and tidy. The notice boards seem to be kept up to date with varied and various activities. My aunt seems very happy.
I had a wonderful three-week stay at Louth Manor. Just perfect. Thank you all.
Disgraceful, they are incompetent and are not safe to be looking after people! Medication needed not given, running out of the same heart medication twice in a week and giving dangerous medication that should not have been given as not chasing up information from doctors.
Excellent home, friendly helpful staff at all levels. Couldn't have found a nicer place for Mum. The facilities are outstanding and the rooms are spacious and light. The meals are nutritious and well-cooked and the residents all appear to have a good bond. Management have been patient and supportive of Mum.
Staff always pleasant and helpful, always willing to discuss any problem that arises. Home is well set out and easy to negotiate.
Always helpful and obliging, my mother is truly well looked after, staff always on hand to help, personal care very good too. Facilities are excellent, food choice good, staff always smiling and happy.
My friend came into the care home as one of their first residents when they opened. From day 1 she has been so happy here, very settled and pleased with the care and surroundings. My friend has very high standards and all aspects have been reached at The Manor Care Home. When I visit from walking through the door to leaving the staff are so courteous and welcoming. I have been to view events here with my friends and I am overwhelmed at the effort that goes into entertaining the residents. I regularly join in the exercise mornings which are such fun, certainly get the residents moving. I would recommend The Manor to all friends and family, a truly wonderful care home with delightful, dedicated staff.
My mum has been in Louth Manor since February and is very well looked after by all staff, such as carers, managers, housekeeping, catering and the activity team. It has taken her a while to settle, but everyone has been caring, patient and supportive. She enjoys the food and mixing with other residents, especially when taking part in the activities that are organized every day.
My mother was in another care home and I was in a state of constant worry, I have never felt like that since she moved to Louth Manor. My mum has dementia and I moved her to Louth Manor because it did not look or feel like any other dementia unit I had seen. My mum has genuinely never been looked after better than she is now. The staff and management are always so helpful and put me at ease, knowing my mum is being looked after. The home is beautiful, the food is great, the activities are tailored for all the residents and I would not have her anywhere else.
Mum came here with weightloss, Alzheimer's, and increasing mobility frailty issues. Since Nov. 23, she's gained weight, is happy, healthy, and clean. She engages in fitness in the morning, many differing activities, and eats well. She goes on day trips. Plus family activities are provided. I'm so happy she's here and would encourage anyone to consider Louth Manor.
My mother has been with Louth Manor Care Home since early January. If anyone said to me that she would look as she does and be as she is, I might have said 'get on with you!' The care and attention to detail is second to none. Her whole being has been transformed for the better and the staff do an incredible and dignified job. Five stars plus.
My mother was admitted to the home at the beginning of 2023 in very poor health, having lived independently all her life. She was unable to look after herself and was in need of full-time care. We chose Louth Manor Care Home as it was undoubtedly, in our opinion, far superior to any other home in the area. Since becoming a resident, Mother's health and well-being have improved beyond recognition and she now enjoys the high standard of fellowship and involvement within her new home.
In most respects, Louth Manor is very good and excellent in others. It is very comfortable with excellent facilities, and (subject to the comment below) the staff are friendly, helpful and respectful. However, staff shortages sometimes have a negative effect, for example, lateness in delivering drinks/food and medication. Generally, though we are very pleased and very thankful that our parent is being so well looked after.
It was very difficult having to put our mother into a care home. There were no rooms in the home closest to us but we are all very happy with Louth Manor Care Home. The home is very clean and has a very homely feel. The residents are treated with dignity and respect and even the relatives are made to feel as if they are part of an extended family. All of the staff (irrespective of their role) are wonderful and try their best for the residents. They may not get everything right all of the time but they do try. Unfortunately, our mother does not often participate in activities.
I am really happy with the care my husband receives at Louth Manor. The team is excellent, and management is very hands-on and always available. The environment is first class - comfortable rooms, beautiful lounges and lovely outside space. My husband is very settled, and I can relax knowing he is in very safe and caring hands.
My father went into full-time care last June with dementia/Alzheimer's. The staff are amazing, and we cannot fault anything. The home itself is very high quality (more like a hotel feel). I love the fact that there are no closed doors - we are free to visit him whenever we want, unlike some other care homes where you have to make an appointment. We know he is being very well looked after, and I would definitely recommend Louth Manor with no hesitation.
Very good food. Helpful staff. The hairdressing facilities are very good. Comfortable in every way and beautifully decorated and furnished throughout. Couldn't be better. My sister looks very well and has settled well.
The staff at Louth Manor all do amazing work. I am so pleased that my mum has got a good team around her. Thank you to everyone at Louth Manor for everything you do for my mum. It is very much appreciated.
Moved my father here after severe declining standards in his previous care home. Though I appreciate this is a new home and standards should be good so as to promote the home itself the difference is just amazing. I cannot praise the standard of care and staff enough. Please may this continue.
