View Full Details of Bridgewater Manor Care CentreA nice warm welcome from the receptionist. A beautiful home, the compassion and consideration they showed were second to none. Residents engaging in activities and looked very happy and content. The room is of a high standard and we have peace of mind knowing my aunty is being cared for and is safe. Thank you to all the staff and Bridgewater Manor Care Centre.
I am very pleased to be a resident at Bridgewater Manor Care Centre. I always feel safe and cared for with staff available quickly at the press of my call button. Food and snacks are available always at the specified time. My room is always clean and immaculate. All members of staff have the initial obligatory qualification for a place like this - cheerful and anticipation of likely hazards.
The centre has been a haven for me during a very difficult period - the kindness I have received has been extraordinary. Basically, it has been a taster of what could be needed in the future and I would be very happy to return here.
The care home has welcomed Mum so much, the staff, from the reception staff to all the carers have all been lovely. They keep me informed at all times to Mam's needs and medical issues. I am so grateful to each and every one of them for the care and dedication they have given Mum. Hopefully, she will settle in and regard it as her home. Thank you.
Very good. Very comfortable, and they have everything you need. The people are very friendly. Well-informed of everything that's going on. Would like a slight improvement on the food - more options and better taste but mostly good. Thank you.
My mother-in-law went into Bridgewater Manor Care Centre in November 2023 until she passed away recently. From the very beginning, she was treated with respect and care which was second to none. The staff quickly got to know her personality and quirkiness and dealt with her with ease and care, which I'm sure wasn't always easy. The place itself is lovely, we could turn up at any time and find her well cared for in all ways. Latterly, when she became unwell, the care, concern and empathy shown was amazing. She was always clean, looked after and comfortable, whatever time of day we arrived. The staff in the dementia unit in particular are an absolute credit to the home and we can't thank them enough for everything, their care, concern and love and support were amazing. Thank you to you all.
My husband was in Bridgewater Manor Care Centre for six months until he passed away in January. I am very happy with the way he had been looked after then. I have no hesitation to recommend to my friends to send their loved one if they needed. Staff are excellent.
More than pleased with Mam's care. The only way I can describe Bridgewater Manor Care Centre is fantastic. 10/10. All the staff were caring and attentive to Mam's needs. Thank you all for looking after her, she was a one-off. I thank you one and all from the bottom of my heart. Love you all.
Very caring staff, nice warm welcome every time we visit the home. Activities are fantastic for residents and visitors. So glad we got my mother-in-law in this home. Very happy with everyone involved.
My father recently passed away, at age 96, at Bridgewater Manor Care Centre. He had been a resident since April 2023. I cannot adequately put into words my gratitude and admiration for all the staff who cared for him. I had intended tell highlight certain members of staff, but quite, honestly, every one of them was kind, gentle and compassionate, not only to my father but to myself and my family at a very difficult time. They were marvellous. Thank you.
My father was only a resident for a very short time as he sadly passed away. However, during his stay, the staff were amazing with him and treated him with the utmost respect. The home is beautiful and the rooms are lovely. The staff are all very friendly, kind and caring. The nurses were with us at the time of dads passing and their support and kindness during such a difficult time was greatly appreciated.
My mother required “respite care” after a serious operation. From the moment I approached the Bridgewater Manor - the compassion and consideration they showed was second to none. My mum was visited in the hospital for an assessment, and arrangements were made to transfer her to the home. She has spent four weeks at the home and has improved beyond anything I could have imagined. The home is beautiful - but it’s a lot more than that. Without exception, every member of staff went above and beyond in their care and all their dealings with my mum. She was treated with dignity and huge respect at all times. My mum has now returned to her own home with confidence and the ability to start living independently again - at 90 years of age - something that, as a family, we could not have imagined before her stay at the Bridgewater. Thank you for everything, Bridgewater Manor - you have all been wonderful.
Our mum moved to Bridgewater Manor a couple of weeks ago, the change in her is amazing. We could not have put Mum in a safer environment. We as a family have peace of mind that our mum is being cared for to a very high standard. The management and all the staff are extremely caring and compassionate, they are all so friendly and lovely. A beautiful home, what more could we ask for.
When we arrived at Bridgewater Manor we were in a tricky situation as my mother had been diagnosed with a malignant brain tumour and although having been discharged home, was unable to cope. The care home manager went out of her way to accommodate us, including scheduling an assessment on the first day of her holiday, in order to meet Mum's needs swiftly. Once my mother became a resident for nursing care, I cannot thank the staff enough. They were not only kind and compassionate in the care of my mother, but to us as her family too, providing many hugs and supportive conversations. The care was exemplary, the staff so, so kind and helpful. We could not have asked for more in the last few weeks of her life. The physical environment of the home is of course outstanding. It feels like a smart hotel. However, for me, over and above were the staff who were outstanding. Highly recommend.
My mum was a resident twice in between hospital stays and came away full of praise for the staff and level of care. I found the staff and management very attentive to her needs and they helped make a fairly traumatic period return to some form of normality. I will always be very grateful to them.
We are very happy with how Dad has settled in and how comfortable and relaxed he is. The staff are all great, always on hand when care is required and quick to offer a brew, which is always nice. All in all, the whole place is great and we are very happy we chose it!
Every time I ask my nan what she thinks about Bridgewater she says 'I can't fault it'. She is very well looked after and happy there. The staff are so lovely - they are respectful and caring and make her smile. They work very very hard and we appreciate all that they do!
My great-auntie moved to the home this last weekend and the change in her is astonishing. I have real hope that the high quality of care she is receiving will keep her with us and help us to be able to make new memories.
A very pleasant atmosphere, caring staff. Plenty of activities and outings. The food seems good. Rooms excellent. If you are considering Bridgwater Manor for your relative, you cannot go far wrong. Parking is also available on-site.
Excellent!
