View Full Details of Lace Hill ManorI would like to say a massive thank you to the staff on the dementia ward. Especially two members of staff in particular. They work so hard, all staff do. These two members of staff always make me feel welcome and feel like apart of a family when I come to see my beloved friend. Lace Hill are very lucky to have them as staff. All the staff at Lace Hill are as lovely as each other. If I ever need to be in a care home, I would pick Lace Hill, and if I ever know someone who needs to be cared for, I'd 100% choose Lace Hill Manor.
I would highly recommend Lace Hill Manor. All of the staff are amazing and provide my husband who has dementia with the highest standard of care and kindness. There are so many activities available every day which he is encouraged to participate in designed to provide him with the stimulation he needs. The home itself is bright with lots of natural light and has also become a welcoming and supportive environment for me at a time that has been very emotionally difficult for me to deal with. I simply cannot praise all of the staff highly enough and would like to say a massive thank you to all of them from both my husband and myself.
I wish to share my appreciation and to say thank you to all of the staff at Lace Hill. From the managers, front desk staff to the carers who provide the everyday care that my mum receives. They are all a credit to the home, they are easy to approach, friendly and welcoming whenever I or my family visit. I would highly recommend Lace Hill Manor to families looking for a safe and friendly home for their loved ones. I am so grateful for all the care my mum receives.
Care staff are excellent. I have no concerns re care. I have given 4 stars as I think as titled a luxury care home there are some areas which do not match this ie lack of continuing maintenance/gardener which means things get left. Local contractors should be allowed to come in and cover this. Resident minibus has not been in use for a very long time. A shame as likely a factor that draws relatives to use this care home.
My mother-in-law has settled into Lace Hill Manor Care Home very well, this is because every staff member is very caring and attentive to her. As a family we all feel very welcomed on every visit and nothing is too much trouble.
All staff very helpful and kind very understanding towards my Mum. Her room is very clean and tidy, she enjoys the events that are on during the day. She seems to enjoy the food and has never complained of being hungry. Good to see that the gardens have been seen to as it's lovely for my mum to look out on from her room.
What a beautiful, clean and welcoming care home. Very impressed with all the staff and facilities. From the front desk to all the helpful nursing staff, could not fault a single thing. Would certainly recommend Lace Hill Manor.
My pa is halfway through a two-week spell of respite and we could not be more delighted with how quickly he has settled and how well he is being looked after. All members of staff that we have met are so warm and welcoming and the care team on his floor are superb! He has clearly been involved in and enjoying lots of activities and when we visited him yesterday it was at lunchtime so we sat with him while he ate and the food looked and smelt absolutely scrumptious! An easy top marks all around!
My dear mum was only in Lace Hill for 2 weeks, but the kindness, care and support she received were outstanding, as was the care for my dad and the whole family. We were so grateful to the lovely manager for speedily moving Mum in and the staff for helping to find transport. All the staff looking after Mum were exceptionally compassionate and caring, getting to know her quickly despite her limited language. All were so kind to us during her last days, which were in beautiful calm surroundings enabling us to cherish the time we had with her. A huge thank you to you all.
My step nan has been a resident for several months now and has settled in really well. She really has flourished at Lace Hill Manor. Having more company has definitely brightened her mood. It's great to see her doing activities and being social as previously she lived a fairly lonely life. The staff are always so pleasant and welcoming. They are lovely with the children. We particularly enjoyed Lace Hill Manor's 1st birthday party. The home always feels clean and I am thoroughly impressed with it thus far.
Dad is obviously well-cared for in the dementia wing. I have nothing but admiration for the staff who constantly strive to make him feel engaged and interested in circumstances where his capacity is so limited. Every time I visit they have another strategy in place. In addition he is well fed, clean and always nicely dressed. I recommend Lace Hill Manor without reservation.
My mother was admitted into Lace Hill Manor Care Home in September 2022 on end-of-life care. I believe it was due to the care she received from nurses, carers and all the other staff that she stayed with me until the end of March. Her quality of life was practically zero but the team there all gave her their complete attention and care, she was always treated with respect and dignity. The care they have shown me has also been outstanding. Watching my mum slowly fade away on a daily basis has been very difficult and occasionally my emotions got the better of me but the staff were always there to support me too and for that, I can't praise them enough. This has been a very sad period for my lovely mum, myself and my family but being in the tranquil space with the support of all the staff, seeing my mother receive such brilliant care has made the saddest of days seem just that bit more bearable. I can not thank the Lace Hill team enough.
Our mum has been at Lace Hill Manor since the beginning of December 2022 after a brief hospital admission following a rather traumatic family bereavement. This is mum's first care home and she has quickly settled in and is well looked after. The team are always very helpful with any request or query I send them. Thank you for making this whole experience for the family easier to deal with.
The five visits I made in recent days were the first I had been able to accomplish since mum moved to Lace Hill Manor, since her time in the hospital. Though clearly, this has been a distressing time for her and she is much diminished she seems to be gradually settling in. I have been so impressed by the quality of her new surroundings in all respects, and have had considerable experience visiting care homes, the attribution of staff and the quality of the care they give here is exemplary. It's a beautiful safe place caring and calm and I feel confident it is the right place for mum now.
Having visited my sister several times this year I cannot thank the home enough for everything they do. It is a beautiful home and everyone is always so kind when we visit her. We visited a few homes in and around Buckingham but felt Lace Hill Manor would be the perfect fit for us all to get to. There are always drinks available and have even had afternoon tea when we came last month. Nothing is too much trouble. The staff are friendly and always make sure she is ok. Thank you everyone.
Dad stayed from mid-August for a month's respite on the memory care floor and we were impressed with everything offered at Lace Hill Manor. The CRM was very helpful in making dad's arrival and departure as smooth as possible. Dad settled in very well and the care team was great in making his stay as comfortable as possible. Dad seemed to enjoy the activities he took part in and we all loved the fab cakes and teas on our visits. Lace Hill Manor seemed more like a modern hotel than a care home with light, stylish and comfortable sitting rooms with plenty of space for residents and families/friends to gather. We would definitely recommend Lace Hill Manor for respite care for those living with dementia or Alzheimer's.
Mum went into Lace Hill Manor for respite care following an illness and 5 weeks in hospital and was one of the first residents after the home opened. Lace Hill Manor is beautifully decorated with high quality furnishings and is kept spotlessly clean. All staff have been friendly and supportive to Mum and to us as her family. Mum’s health has deteriorated on a couple of occasions and staff have been very quick to alert medical professionals and call ambulances as needed. They are very keen to work with families for the best outcomes for the residents. We have experienced a few breakdowns in communications, mainly due to a few teething problems with establishing systems and access to contact details with a new team. However, everyone has been very receptive to feedback and proactive at making any changes needed to ensure systems run more smoothly in future. Establishing social activities has been a bit slow but big improvements have been made recently. Overall the care has been very good.
When visiting Lace Hill Manor for the first time, without an appointment, I was made to feel most welcomed and was given a guided tour of the home. A meeting was arranged to assess mums current situation and a place was offered within a week. Moving in day went well and was well organised. The home is new and spacious and the food is excellent. The staff are just wonderful and very friendly and can't do enough for mum. I can pop in and see her any time of the day and mum feels very safe and well looked after. I would recommend the home to anyone. I was worried about the whole process of putting mum into a home however the whole process was made very simple and we are regularly kept up to date with mum's progress together with any issues which may arise. A lot of pressure has been taken off me now knowing that mum is now safe and being well looked after in extremely nice surroundings, with excellent friendly staff.
All the staff at Lace Hill were extremely caring and attentive to my husband, and nothing was too much trouble, especially during the last few weeks of his life. This made his passing so much easier for myself, family and friends who came to visit. I cannot praise Lace Hill enough and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a care home.
Whenever I visit my brother the receptionist was outstanding, always offering refreshments for however long I stayed. The staff were cheerful and helpful.
